    I moved into the property on September 27, 2024. I should have received the red flags after the deposit and first month rent was paid, the agent Vena was hard to get a hold of. I emailed the office on 10/14 to retrieve a code needed for alarm, which I still have not received a reply. Its now 10/27, I have an emergency maintenance situation where the toilet is overflowing and the tub is overflowing at the same time and getting the carpet wet and disgusting. I only have 1 bathroom and have been calling the maintenance number since 11a. I finally reached someone an hour later who created a work order. Work order created around 12 and now calling back, no response after several tries. I called from a different number , I get a response. The agent stated that there are limited technicians to service the need and that he was trying to reach out to them. The last conversation held was at 5:30p after calling from a different number. The maintenance number states the hours are from 8a to 6pm Sunday through Saturday so Im just confused on why this emergency situation that is very disgusting and could damage the property is not being addressed. Its now 5:47 and Im sure they are waiting to 6pm to come up with the excuse that the maintenance hours are closed for the day. This is very for a new tenant to go through.

    If I could I would give 0 stars for this company.I would not rent from them I currently live in one their properties and they do not care about their tenants at all *** had repairs that go undone and then have neighbors that are a nightmare that they dont care to handle but expect put me in unlivable situation

    This is the worst company Ive had the privilege of dealing with concerning their responsibility of other peoples property. One of their properties has a tree that is constantly damaging my roof. I have had my roof completely replaced because of limbs falling causing holes in my roof. All I asked was for them to cut the limbs, that are continually falling, stabbing holes in my roof. But all theyre saying is.. its your responsibility for anything that falls in the yard. IM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE YARD, IM TALKING ABOUT THE FREAKING ROOF!! The tree is on their property, they knew the tree was there when they acquired the property!! Just do the right thing and cut your freaking tree!!! Anything to save money and put the responsibility on someone else. Theyre quick to quote laws, when itll save them money!!!

    This company ***** you in with the no application fee and then want you to jump through so many hoops to prove that you are who you say you are and that you work, where you say you work I understand that scams are very high. There are still a bunch of innocent people. I think that they should upgrade their systems and have a better way to verify jobs and rental history. I feel that they were very lazy and lacked professionalism. I do not recommend this rental company to anyone of the properties have the same look on the inside basic paint thats peeling paint it all over the light covers the sockets in the wall. Looks like nobody cared. Its not worth the ding that it does to your credit. There are other companies who will work with you and are much easier to work with and professional and get your application approved within one to two business days like it states on their website.

    This is my second time renting a home from Midsouth Best Rental and The. Experience is so crappy the first home I lived there for five years they barely come out and do repairs. Nothing worked no heat no air. The ducks up under the house were being eaten by critters outside so all my air and heat flow up under the house utility bill stayed high like 600, 700 ***************************************** the house and the home had lots of mold, where it ruin all of my clothes and furniture the bathtub didnt even have a bottom in it it was all rotted out when i moved in and had to be repaired immediately and that only last maybe 6-7months and I ended up buying finish to repair it again you could see clean under the house the electric outlets were all burning out, had to buy my own. Air Condition and heaters just so I could make the house livable midsouth Best Rental offered no solution act like they didnt even care that my air in my heat was not working properly

    I was told I was approved for a place I was got access code to the place to look at it. Once I put my deposit down I got blocked from calling. No one is returning my call. I have text message saying I was approved documentation of me putting my deposit down and recording showing me from my cell phone which it doesnt go to voicemail versus using someone elses cell phone which he picks up.

    I moved in July 2020 and trapped for 3 1/2 years.After paying my deposit and rent, the repair men stop doing repairs. The repairmen response was they ran out of money. Trash was left all over the backyard, the carpet wasnt clean, AC UNIT didnt get half the house cool, the duct work in the attic was not connected to the vents and had to be completely replaced; sewage, rust and dedication back up the sinks laundry drain; the roof leak, the socks continued to catch fire and destroy property and appliances. Their electrician and others told MSBR they need to update/ repair the electrical panel/ box. But they never attempted to make that repair until the fire department put taps on the main socket after it caught fire around May 2023.The sockets caught fire again after MSBR changed out the sockets. It took 2 years get the duckwork installed, 1 year to put a AC Unit in, never repaired the water leak, electrical panel, if did, took 3 years. In each room,!there are 2sets of vents. The kitchen and bathrooms have vent large openings but none of the vents close.Therefore in the winter cold air blast through the house and in the summer was like an oven. I send pictures of temperatures but it didnt phase MSBR Holidays did happen here only distraction.Yet the rent continued to increase! I had rental insurance but MSBR has done and made every excuse they could to avoid giving me a copy of the last 2 years lease. I was told by ***************** if I had an agent trying to help me tell them to contact her and she will fill out any forms.Midsouth best rental attitude through the last 3 years was summed up with this statement: ******************************* 10/06/2023 10:43 AM Hi **************. Thank you for the update and letting us know. Where sorry to know what happened but bad things can happen to anyone. We recommend that you voluntarily vacate the premise to avoid owing more. Thank you! I have pictures proving everything!!!All they want was rent with no accountability for repairs.

    This company dont cares about nothing but money.. I live in they property almost 5yrs.. I been dealing with rodents since November or December of last year.. I informed them, they told me the rodents issue on me.. I was dumbfounded.. I call pest control out, and I told the rodents were coming in from the outside to the inside of the home.. these rodents call roof rats.. we been going back and forth. All they did is come put traps down and poison.. that was defeating the purpose when they didn't fix where the rodents were getting in at.. so I decided to go see a ****** to see whats my rental rights.. why after a few days after that I was given a 30 day vacant letter.. instead of fixing the issue they rather see me leave.. plz don't rent from this company and read ur lease before u sign.. they putting me out case they say I'm not maintaining they property.. ummm, mind u guys I'm disable single mother of 3.. they treat u like u buying they property. PLZ DONT NOT RENT FROM THEM.. U CAN GET IN EASY BUT ITS NOT WORTH WHAT U GOING TO DEAL WITH IN THE LONG RUN.. U BASICALLY PAYING FOR NOTHING, CAUSE THEY CHARGE U FOR ANY AND EVERYTHING.. A MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY..

    ******************* where do I start so Ive been staying at my property for five years Ive maintained my rent over the years I recently got behind due to my job of 7 years cutting back on hours and my car being down a eviction was filled against me after I talked with a account manager to work with me month by month to get caught up I was suppose to make a payment but could t get in to do so the next morning before I could even get a chance to call I received a message saying that I need to leave the property within a certain date which confused me because how we go from a agreement to get out I also reached out and asked if I got assistance from a local agencies and came up with the other half with they be willing to work with me they told me no the owner doesnt allow help from agencies anymore keep in mind I had just got help from someone months prior also there was never black and white documents saying they recently decided not to receive help from local agencies and the agency that I was going through was confused because they said they had paperwork from other tenants from Midsouth best rentals this company has no compassion I dont care how long you have been renting from them or how much money that have made off of you over the years if you get into a life crisis all I can say is call on the lord cause your going to need them from This soul less company truly take your time and think before renting through them

    My name is geraldjeffersonl I live at ************************************************************** and I have an issue. They had a plumber come out because I couldnt use my bathroom can flush my toilet OK I had a doctors appointment that day I wasnt home they have keys to your home. They come in when youre not there, so the plumbers took say they took a cigarette lighter out of the toilet the reason why it wouldnt flush and they were trying to charge me 270 some dollars and I dont think I should pay for what I rent this house I dont own it can anyone give me an advice on what I need to do
