Im filing a formal complaint regarding Store #****** (Firestone Complete Auto Care, ******************, REG# MV-*****). On April 25, 2025, I paid over $5,191.25 for repairs on my 2006 ****** Altima and was told it would drive like a new car. Two days later, the car began smoking. A second Firestone location (*********, **) determined that the power steering pump had failed due to excessive pressure an issue that should have been identified or prevented with the initial repairs. While that location offered a partial accommodation, the ********************* store declined responsibility or meaningful support. On May 3, the vehicle broke down again in ******* smoking once more and I had to pay $500 out-of-pocket for towing back to *********. This is now the second failure within 10 days of a $5,000+ repair. The car also has non-functioning A/C after the service. The vehicle belonged to my late grandmother, who passed away earlier this year, and holds deep sentimental value. It is also under my mothers name (***** *******), who has ** and suffered missed medical appointments due to delays in repair. She had a previous issue with this same location regarding her tire *********** requesting that Firestone take full responsibility for the failures following their service and offer reimbursement for unnecessary costs, including the $500 towing fee, as well as a good faith review of the initial $5,191.25 repair bill.

I went to Firestone at ************************************ only to learn they would mess up my car invoice by spelling my street wrong they put ***************** instead of ***** ****** the right address and put my vin number as 1C3CCCBBOFN750633 placing a letter O instead of a zero (0) and not only that but by not preforming a thorough break inspection lying to me saying I need new breaks and rotors when I asked if it could be break fluid he lied and said no. But my break fluid is the real culprit of my breaks squeaking from doing my own investigation. I chatted with Firestone a couple days ago and was told I should get a phone call in 2 business days today is the second business day with still no phone call as of 5:26pm. Im in the process of trying to sue my car dealership for misrepresentation of a bad used car and they are making things harder for me than they already are.

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding unresolved and unsatisfactory serviceFirestone Complete Auto Care location at ******************************************************On April 10, 2025, I dropped off my truck due to stalling, fuel loss, and an **** system code found through AutoZone diagnostics. Later that day, your staff claimed no issues with the **** or fuel systems and said the truck was in limp mode. I was charged $1,460.49.However, after driving only 18 miles home, the check engine light returned and the same issues occurredincluding reduced engine power and a complete fuel leak after adding $20 in gas. I returned the truck on April 12 and was told the only issue was no fuel, and $10 was added. This was inaccurate and dismissive. The problem persisted again after leaving the shop.On April 15, I returned for the third time and spoke with **** and *******, who finally diagnosed the correct issuean ****-related failure consistent with AutoZones original reading. I was told the repair would cost $705. After expressing frustration and submitting a complaint, **** informed my mother, **** ****, and me that the $705 would be covered. However, no one has explained why the original $1,460.49 charge remains, given that it was unrelated to the actual issue. Manager **** has also been dismissive and refused to provide regional contact information. While work was performed, it did not resolve the original concern until the third visit. I am requesting the $705 difference be credited to **** Shaws Firestone account as a resolution for the misdiagnosis, inconvenience, and overbilling. I also request written confirmation of this credit. I was unable to email my complain to Firestone so I am escalating this matter to the BBB and other consumer protection agencies.Sincerely,Demi Major

On April 27, 2025, I received an oil change at the Firestone located at *********************************************. When I picked the car up I immediately noticed a strong smell of oil or gas coming through the air vents while driving. I though maybe some oil had been spilled on the engine and the smell would go away. The smell did not go away however.I proceeded to drive the vehicle as I normally do until Saturday May 3, 2025, my family and I traveled over 500 miles with the vehicle. We continued to experience the strong oil/gas smell and vehicle, the vehicle's engine heat, oil and oil filters lights would come on and go off. While on the road, my father called and told me that there was oil on the floor of the garage where I normally park. When we got home, I confirmed that oil was on the floor of my garage and by now the car was smoking from under the hood. I called the store and explained the situation. The store *** asked me to open the hood and check. I did so and that's when I discovered that the oil cap had not been put back. The store *** called a tow truck and serviced the vehicle the next day Sunday May 4th. Since then, Ive noticed that the vehicle sputters and jerks whenever I stop and start.

I took my car to Firestone for repairs and I feel like I didn't get the work done that was needed to fix the problem. I had my back windows still not defrosting which is a indicator that the problem was not fixed.. Also feel like I was discriminated against by the workers since I am African American and they are Mexican American. My car had not worked properly since the repairs were done on 12/27/24 and my car was in the shop for 12 days total. I wanted to let this be known to others who might have repairs done on their cars so they are aware of issues with this location. This is the 3rd request I have sent and hopefully it will get to the right department and I can get some help from your company on this issue. Please reach out to me thru email, regular mail or by phone to update me on this request. Thank you in advance.

Subject: Urgent Safety Concern and Complaint Regarding Faulty Brake Installation Firestone Riverdale Location To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to file a serious complaint about the service I received at the Firestone location in *********, involving a brake and rotor replacement performed in December 2024 on my 2020 ****** Altima.I drove the vehicle for four years prior to that service with no brake issues. However, on April 20, 2025 less than six months after the repair I began hearing unusual noises. After consulting with my father (a former mechanic), I was advised it sounded like brake failure. I returned to the same Firestone location, where they confirmed the brakes were indeed worn out and quoted me $165 for both front and rear brake replacement.I was shocked, as the brakes and rotors should not have failed so quickly. When I questioned the rapid wear, I was told that "cheaper parts" had been used in the December repair a fact never disclosed to me at the time of service. Additionally, no alternative or upgraded parts were offered until I confronted them about this issue. This is deeply concerning, especially considering brakes are a critical safety component.I called the Firestone Riverdale location on May 8, 2025, at 11:47 AM (an 8-minute call), during which I was again told by staff that cheaper parts were used. I have also since found several other customer complaints online reporting similar issues at this location. This raises serious safety and ethical concerns. It appears this location may be installing substandard parts without informing customers, which could put lives at risk.I am requesting:A full investigation into the practices at the Firestone Riverdale location A refund or free replacement using proper-grade parts Assurance that this issue will be corrected to prevent harm to others I appreciate your urgent attention to this matter.

Mr. ***** purchased a warranty 3 years ago from Route 66. Approximately 2 months ago Mr. ***** brought the car in due to a check engine light being on. Mr. ***** said he took the vehicle to Firestone in Warner Robins. The issue was repaired under warranty. Around 2-3 weeks later, the check engine light came back on and Mr. ***** brought it to a second corporate location in *****, Tires Plus. The car was repaired again and the light was off. Then, again, around 2 weeks later, the light turned back on. Mr. ***** returned to Tires Plus and was told that on the initial repair the mechanics did not use original parts. Mr. ***** was told that the repairs this time would be made with original parts. The light went off and stayed off for about a week. The light has since (approximately 10 days later) come back on. Mr. ***** was told to take the vehicle back to the original Firestone location and Mr. ***** argued that both locations are under the Firestone ********************. Mr. ***** is seeking a complete repair of the original issue.

I have a charge for:01/19/22 FIRESTONE32685 ********* What on Earth did you bill me ***** for ? The only time I have EVER taken my vehicle to a Firestone (and the last time I ever did) was when I needed you to inspect the vehicle for failure to maintain acceleration Whatever chick works there proceeded to d*** around "inspecting" my vehicle - achieved absolutely nothing - with no real maintenance or repairs done and I somehow ended up with a $***** bill after I had to pull my vehicle out of the shop with absolutely f*** all done to ***** what exactly did you bill me for when you completely failed a proper inspection, found absolutely nothing of value that even remotely fixed the issue, I left with the exact same problem no resolution and not even a hint of what was wrong with the vehicle? You work wasn't work $100 much less $1000

I went in with an air conditioning problem with my vehicle. They ran a diagnostic and said my vehicle had some leaks. They gave me 2 options, recharge the system for 500$ no warranty. Second option was pay 1900$ with one year warranty so I went with the second option. One week later my ** was not working again. I took it in and now they say it has another leak and ended up paying another 500$. They also offered to do an inspection on the vehicle for 9.99$ that I said I didn't want and they went ahead and did it and charged for it
