It doesn't matter if you have a 15 year work history on same job, 16 year history of paying rent on time, u can't have a low credit score, they will turn u down and keep the 75 dollar per adult application fee so I wasted 150 dollars just to be turned down over a stupid credit score!! It's only a rental property people!!!! Taking people's hard earned money for nothing

So let me say this. Fire mark is wild for this one. I left early and broke my lease because of a death in my family up north I had to leave and help with. They charged me 1700$ for leaving early. Took my deposit because there was some things needing fixed in the apartment but charged me another 850$ for a deposit. Then charged me for everything that was wrong with the deposit. On top of that charged me 500$ to move a some desks and a couch out. Charged me 40$ for lights. 150$ to clean carpet. 40$ for air filter. Everything cost about 4100$ what’s the point of a security deposit if I gotta pay everything twice? I would not recommend these people at all and I can’t wait for them to try to make me go to court over this because I will be blasting this over every once of social media and court I can. Ask for what is right. Not for everything because you’re a 3rd party trying to fatten your pockets. Stay away from this place because they are after your wallets.

******, Our condolences to you and your family. I understand that this was an unfortunate incident that neither you nor the owner of the property could control, however, in 9.2 of your lease that you signed all of the charges are valid for the early termination. We also were not given any notice that you left the apartment until the utilities were disconnected. I am happy to ask the owner if they are willing to waive the 2 month early term fee but the forfeit of the deposit would stand. Please contact my office if you would like to discuss further. Carrie B******* 615-364-2833 ext ***  9.2 EARLY TERMINATION If Tenant chooses to terminate the lease early for any reason, tenant will be responsible for a termination fee equivalent to two month’s rent, forfeiture of the security deposit, monthly rent until property is re-rented or lease term expires and all applicable attorney & court fees. If tenant defaults under the terms of the lease, then tenant will be responsible for all damage(s) and the remaining term of the lease. Any loss suffered by Firemark Property Management due to tenant’s default under the terms of the lease shall be sought as damages to the fullest extent allowed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.

They are awful. It was a horror story from the beginning.. I have yet to see the inside of the property to be rented.. I was insistant that I sign the lease right now even though I gave them a specific move in date.. I was told the rent would be prorated to that fact but it was n9t.. I was told the electric and water had to be in working order before I signed the lease. Which was done. I didn't check the online portal before the date I told them I would pay the first months rent. my bad... when I did so because I signed the lease before hand there was a late fee on the rent that was not prorated to the specified date.. on the specified date of me moving in the lady I was to get the key code to get the keys was not in office not would she answer her phone not text messages.. So here it is a month later I still am not in my apartment I have electric water on and I have internet and cable stuff I side the apartment I had delivered the maintenance man set I side.. Supposedly.. I have not seen it cause I still have n9t seen the inside of the apartment. I know it was delivered because I got the text pic from ***.. They knew I was going on vacation and would have not internet service and while I was gone they give me an eviction and I haven't even moved in..

I have been a resident at ****** ***** for over a month. Since I have moved in I have been asking for a mailbox key, and still have not received one. I have my prescriptions mailed to me, but I do not have access to them thanks to Firemark Properties. My only contact at Firemark Properties will no longer respond to my requests since she told me she would get me a key by the end of the week, which just so happens to be 2 weeks ago!

Horrible management the property on tazewell pike the brick apartments they’re remodeling are bed big infested! And they’re 1275 a month! Run don’t rent! The management sucks doesnt take it serious and want the renter to pay when bed bugs are coming out of the drains!

******** , As discussed last week pest control did not find signs of a bed bug infestation . They found 1 bed bug dead in your bathroom due to whatever treatment you did on your own . If the apartment was infested or even had active bed bugs the pest control company would have notified us immediately and you could prep your apartment for treatment . Also as discussed if you want to have the apartment treated you are still welcome to do that at your own expense . With the length of time you have lived there if the bed bugs were present at the time of move in they would have surfaced a long time ago .

Do not rent from them. Stratford Apartments in Kingsport has roaches, black mold, and they told me that water bill would be $50 a month and if we didn’t use that much the bill would go down, however, the water bill went up to $55 and when asked to see my water bill the response I got was It's 55 per unit for a property division. It's all one meter. Kirra Property Manager

02/15/23 I reported a water leak dripping from the toilet upstairs through the ceiling into my unit. Now we have black mold in the bathroom as well which is probably why we're sick. Over a month has passed, and it has NOT been fixed or even any kind of communication from the manager. I'm concerned the ceiling will fall in on someone from the water damage. Also, we have gone without any heat for almost 3 months(January thru late March) I have reported these issues multiple times and they are more concerned with getting the property ready to be sold again then to take care of the current tenants. We have had pest control once in a year so the roaches are everywhere even though I spray and treat the apartment myself. This company does not care about the people that live in the properties they manage.

    Firemark Property Management Response

    03/21/2023

*** , The owner of this property has onsite maintenance that has repaired the leak upstairs. They also have a work order to repair the inside of your unit . As for the heat issue , The last work order from 12/30/2022 was completed .If you are having additional issues please put in a work order and we will send someone . Pest control is onsite on a monthly basis . If your unit needs additional service I am happy to send pest control out to service just your unit . I apologize you are having difficulties and am happy to try and resolve them for you .

I reject your answer because the HVAC was never checked or fixed. If you check your emails and other work orders you will see work order#******* was submitted 12/30/22. Then, on 01/12/23 I sent an email requesting an update on the repair, 02/23/23 another email requesting an update, 02/28/23 a final attempt to get an update on the status of when I can hope for the HVAC issue to be addressed. So 2 things that are clear in this situation. 1) The HVAC is obviously NOT working, 2) Firemark properties need to actually communicate with their tenants to avoid issues like this from happening.

We have a 30 year old HVAC system at our apartment and the air conditioning went out (just a part) because it was leaking Freon in our apartment. Now they are trying to say we have to pay the $2k to fix this is issue.

    03/10/2023

    ***** ,

As we discussed yesterday I needed to get additional information on the situation . The HVAC tech stated that they found dryer sheets in the system that caused the part to go out . I will credit the tenant responsibility bill at this time until we can come  to a amicable resolution .
