I recently visited your store on June 17, at the Whole Foods in ************, ********, for the advertised 12 oysters for $12 deal for Prime Members. I was told I needed to order 24 hours in advance to have them shucked, which was not stated in the advertisement. The employee slammed down the oysters when I asked them to be shucked. Additionally, the store manager was rude and unprofessional when I brought this up. Please ensure all conditions are clear in future ads and address the staff's behavior.Review from Gage M

Spoiled food everywhere. Hateful employees in the front and back of house as well as a few true creeps. Store management let's sexual predators and pedophiles roam free because they're too lazy to hire more people. False promises and price gouging galore. They shouldn't call themselves "America's healthiest grocery store" when that is factually wrong. There is as much junk in this store as any other and shoppers are better off going almost anywhere else and taking the time to learn about what goes into their food. Don't support this evil Amazon run sweat shop. Save your money and start a garden instead. Happy shopping! Also the address for this store is now ********************************************************************.Review from Leah R

The business engages in passive-aggressive behaviors towards colored consumers. For example, they have the security following you around the store while you shop! Usually, the security is ***** feet away! It is absolutely ridiculous! Imagine you are going in to do your groceries and you are stepping into a hostile environment! I kid you not people! The store is equipped with cameras so there is no need for this! If someone takes something they will know! Its getting really old. I think, I may start looking into an attorney! The shopping narrative has to change for wholefoods real soon! The best part is I have proof of what I am describing in my review today!!! Hopefully, all the employees at this business that is engaging in this behavior have personal insurance to protect themselves from any potential lawsuits!Review from Andrew B

I went to WF after not going for a couple years. Hasnt improved one bit. The snack/packaged food selection is still largely a joke, isnt even worth looking at. Their selection looks visually different than an average grocery store, but its surface-level only. For the prepared foods, theyre still leaning on junk ingredients in roughly 90-95% of their selection. Soy-based ingredients (in 2024, really), yeast extract, wine/champagne-based ingredients, xanthan gum, unspecified spices, all can be found in abundance throughout their entire prepared foods and hot bar/salad bar section. Still no ingredient lists at their behind the counter prepared foods section. Surely it would be no better. Their cheese pizza is still the only one that they manage to make without leaning on some obvious form of garbage, and like all of their prepared foods, its not even very good. Just unskilled people behind the whole operation. Kind of unfortunate, because a legitimate commercialized chain-style co-op thats lead by intelligent, skilled people (and thats not to say that all, or even most co-ops meet that standard - but many do) would really be a blessing. This chain is basically a fake co-op, designed by out of touch people, intended as a cash grab. They target people who like to think theyre discerning about what they eat. Trader Joes XL. Can you guys really not do better than this, with the resources you have at your disposal?Review from ROBERT S

The worst - overpriced - bad quality - horrible management. They all smile and talk sweetly while providing inferior customer service. There was absolutely no customer service. Just platitudes. Would NEVER shop here again. Their business model is ripping off its customers. Purchased clothing items which I needed to return. Did not have a receipt - but I had a record from my Credit Card, I paid using Apple Pay and Whole Foods/Amazon had a list of items I had purchased with the clothing items, clothing was not worn and all tags were attached. But they would not even give me store credit. I'm stuck with these useless garments. I spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars at Amazon every year. They tried to tell me Whole Foods had nothing to do with Amazon. Liars and thieves.Review from Korie G

Whole Foods is listed as a participating retailer for EBT there is currently a Presidential major disaster declaration that was made for *********, EBT and disaster recipients. that all Cal fresh can purchase hot and prepared food for a limited time until April 3 but that is not the case at Whole Foods *****************************************************************. **** the manager made sure that even though he was made aware previously, by another customer that Ebt had sent out information saying their store is participating he did not put flyers up, or do anything so when I came into the store and purchased hot food, and went to **************** , and could not afford to pay for it outside of my EBT card he proceeded to throw the food away in front of me and was very rude it is wrong to be discriminating to the less fortunate the store should be educated on the presidential decision. That is an effect corporate should know about this, and on top of that I am disabled. Luckily, my fianc went back into the store and got help by a general manager ******** but the experience made me feel like I am supposed to be less of a person because I am using Ebt and I am on a fixed income. **** you are wrong and when I came back into the store, he had security watch me as I checked out is that because I am black and my fianc is Hispanic, because that is how he made me feel racially discriminated against. This all in front of my two multiracial twins.Review from Judy H

I went to Whole Foods to shop. I swear I was in a night club. The music was so loud that a person came to say they can here the music three blocks the the street. Just think this is a professional business not a night club.Review from Lisa S

Whole Foods suddenly stopped putting a separate bakery label for Vegan goods. The original label in tiny print added Vegan, not even in bold print. The ingredients are printed very tiny and the nutritional information and lightly inked. Consumers deserve more transparency especially at a supposedly more health conscious brand and for more expensive goods that are not high quality baked goods. There is no signage stating Vegan nor a Vegan section of the table so the extra label has been essential to locate the products. The customer care number routes to *************** with broken signals, dropped calls, etc, Also there are Vegan goods that are marked up at least 50% over other stores selling the identical brand name goods, ie. vegan cheeses and sausages.
