1 starI was told that this testing was covered by my insurance so I went about receiving it for my pregnancy. At first, I was sent test results that sent me into a panic & then almost a week later I received an email saying I received the wrong test results. I just received an obnoxious bill from this company and I am completely appalled. I do not recommend anyone to use this company.Review fromEmily M

I have had to call Natera at least four or five times to settle this with them and I'm beyond infuriated being 5 months pregnant currently. I have a sheet of paper from my OBGYN's office from Natera saying the self-pay price was $349 for both tests, which I paid after having to speak to a supervisor. Natera keeps claiming they don't have proof that I've paid, even though I have given them the transaction numbers from the email receipts that they have sent me showing I have paid. They've tried to ask if I had changed my name recently or anything, which I argued had nothing to do with that because I did a name change months prior to taking the test and had updated everything with my insurance, credit cards, etc. well before taking this test. DO NOT USE NATERA. They seem very scammy. Just wait until the 20 weeks appt. This is so not worth it and I will warn everyone I know who is pregnant to avoid them at all costs.Natera, Inc.

When I called before I had testing done back in July I was told I would not have to pay more than $250. Well..I received a bill for $750 many month later! I have contacted Natera MORE THAN ONCE about this and I have now received a fifth notice to pay the bill. I do NOT recommend this company to anyone, and I will not be paying this bill! I am told Natera does this OFTEN and tries to bill families different amounts higher than what they are told they would be paying.Natera, Inc.

I was told by my ********* that this test would cost no more than $150 for genetic testing screening. I just got a bill from Natera for $645! I called them and told them I could not afford to pay this and was told they would not lower it. I'm frustrated because I would not have done this test if I would have known the price.Natera, Inc.

I was told I would be responsible for $250 max out of pocket for genetic and carrier testing. I've been charged about $1,000 and they refuse to fix it, even after I have a signed thing from my doctors office.Natera, Inc.

My OB physician recommended genetic testing in 7/2024. I was told that the max amount for Nateras Panorama and Horizon testing is $249 combined, if my insurance did not cover it and I then paid out of ********* insurance denied coverage for these tests. Five months later, I get a bill for ONE of the tests from Natera for $720.66 (later got the second bill for $425). When I called Natera, their customer service representatives said that my physician was wrong and that the out of pocket cost of $249 is PER test. I called my office and they repeated that both tests together should be $249 out of pocket. Natera's customer service representatives refused to adjust the cost. I later asked my ********* for their Natera representative, and he said both parties were wrong and that the two tests Panorama and Horizon are out of pocket $349. I ended up getting refunded the difference after 45 days.What an unethical company with awful billing practices. If you look up online, these are common issues that patients deal with unfortunately insurance denials followed by unexpected high bills and difficult resolving disputes.Natera, Inc.

Natera stated they had filed multiple appeals to try and get my insurance company to cover charges and they were unsuccessful. What happened in reality is they waited 14 months to send me a bill, which put me beyond the timeframe allowed for appeals. And as for the multiple appeals, they had filed one with very little information, and then dropped off the radar (according to my insurance company). When I called to inform them, they were aggressive and would only entertain signing me up with a payment plan. I said I dont need help paying my bill, I need you to understand your roll in making it so I had to pay instead of my insurance company.Natera, Inc.

Scam!! Do not use this company! I was told my portion would be $250 when I called before doing the blood work. I then received a bill in the mail for an additional $460. The bill stated that my insurance had also paid $340. I called to see why there was such a big price difference than what I was quoted and was told I could now pay the self pay rate which is $350 for both test- when my insurance has already paid them $340....Natera, Inc.
