I have been making my card payments on the first before midnight this one was made at 5pm and I have been charged a late fee again. This is occurring almost monthly and needs to be stopped. I recieve va disability on the 1st or before based on when days fall and I pay my bill on time.Business response

My husband and I both have a credit card with Mercury, individual accounts. I have permission to speak with Mercury on his behalf. Now, they are saying I don't but when I go through a supervisor they say I have permission. They have caused me to get behind $747.95 in payment. They call all the time and ask for me but will not speak to me about his account. I spoke with **** today and requested a supervisor and he told me there was not one available. I asked if he was denying my right to speak with a supervisor. He said one is not available. I told him they have more than one. He put me on hold for several minutes then came back and told me see I told you no supervisor is available. I explained I can't sit here on the phone all day because I am at work. Nothing changed. I need help. Part of struggling also is I have battled covid and not working.Business response

Hello,I continue to be charged interest when I pay my statement balance in full by the due date. I recently had a balance transfer to pay off this card because they have become so horrible. ***** shows the balance transfer was completed on the 4th, however this credit card company, Mercury didn't post the payment until the 8th. This isn't the first time they post payments late (intentionally) as I scheduled a payment through their website, received a confirmation email back, and they posted on the 8th again, when my payments are due on the 7th. I just want the interest removed as the late posting of payments is clearly an issue for this company. I have attached the image from my email confirming my payment arrangement. They did remove the interest fee for this payment issue, but they say since they removed this fee (it was their fault) they will NOT remove the next fee, when they posted the payment late from the balance transfer. I am rejecting this response because: ************ has repeatedly posted payments AFTER the due date when proof was provided of payments made before the due date. I made scheduled a payment on their website for the payment to be made on the due date and they intentionally posting it after the date of the scheduled payment. Email proof was sent. They are assessing fees fraudulently! I made a balance transfer with another company to pay this card off. That card said it posted on the 4th, Mercury didn't post payment until the 8th, conveniently one day after the due date AGAIN. Scammers!!! So convenient to always post payments late after they sit on the funds gaining interest.

On June 18, 2024, Mercury Financial conducted a hard pull on my Transunion credit. I have never done business with this company. I have no knowledge and did not authorize this credit pull. I am reporting it as erroneous and fraudulent.Business response

I reached out to Mercury Financial on July2nd because i received a notification that Mercury had updated my credit report on 06/28/2024 from paid settlement to in collections/charge off. I settled the account out in February of 2024 so i was very confused when i got the notification. I called and asked that they remove the entire account from all 3 of my credit reports because they are reporting incorrect information. I was advised i can see what we can do and will be in touch within 7days. Unfortunately I have not received any type of notification from Mercury and my credit report is still reflecting negative incorrect information. They are reporting my account as being closed out with a $0 balance with a credit limit of $2350 that's incorrect. My account status is listed as paid but current payment status in collections/charge-off. Due to the errors listed in my credit report for the account above. At this time I am making the last request to have the entire account and its information removed before I am forced to take legal matters.Business response

On July 14, 2024, I logged into Mercury.com to make my payment. The payment due date is July 14 2024. I received payment confirmation via my email address from Mercury. On July 15 I received a text message from Mercury about my account being over the limit. I logged into my account and see that I was charged $30 for a late payment and Mercury has not posted my payment yet. They still show it as scheduled. Would like the $30 late fee removed since I paid on time.Business response

On 02/03/2024 Merchant *********************** perform service on my vehicle at his location however the service that he did was to paint my front bumper however the merchant spray my entire vehicle with overspray and refuse to fix the problem, When I contacted Mercury dispute department they initiated a investigation on my behalf on 02/10/2024 regarding this situation however they closed the case without contacting me or the merchant. I presented all the required documents that they needed. I paid the merchant $2,000, for service that he failed to do.And all Mercury bank is doing is giving the round around and no answers , when I contacted them they keep coming up with please call back next week and your case will be solved now here it is July 15, 2024 and the same thing they're continuing telling me call back your case is still pending it has been 5 months and still no solution. Also they reported my account to the ********************** Bureau as delinquent in the amount of $150.00 which is very unfair a lady stated to me when the account is disputed you will not have to pay the amount due on the dispute charges And that's the only transaction I have, they refuse to take it off my credit report as the dispute is still open. They're not following the law while a dispute is going on. When calling them I always get different answer from them. I need them to fix my credit report immediately because the service representative at Mercury Bank misinformed me regarding paying on a disputed account if that the case I would've pay my monthly billed but was told while your case is being investigated and disputed I didn't have to pay my monthly amount.Business response

I was laid off and cant afford to make my payment until I get a new job. Mercury calls me 5-10 times a day constantly, it is adding so much stress to my life I want to set up a better payment plan and to not receive numerous calls dailyBusiness response
