Hello, I would like BBBs help in getting my Bumble dating account re-instated. I have been a good and loyal Bumble user for many years; purchasing either a 3-month or 6-month membership time after time. One day my Bumble account was working and within the next couple hours it was removed on April 18 2023. I was never notified by any one that my Bumble account was removed or what the reason was for even being removed. I wasnt given information as to what the specific reason was, and there was no way for me to appeal. There is no personal review and it nothing was automated. No one is responding to any of my email requests at Bumble. This was unfair, and almost discriminatory. I am honestly gutted by this decision, lack of responsive, and lack of empathy from Bumble. This is unjust and has serious implications on my dating and social life. This situation has caused me to start experiencing anxiety. Match Group has a monopoly on dating apps and dating in general. With most couples meeting online nowadays, this ban has serious implications to banned member's social lives. The internet is full of anecdotes exactly like my own. I understand Bumble's commitment to promote a safe space, but a ban without a path forward is unjust and unethical. There is no reconciliation method, ban period, or methods to pursue reinstatement. They essentially are cancelling individuals even if they are reported out of spite or revenge. People change and are continually working to be a better human in the pursuit of love. This bumble removal is unfair to me, and my future at finding love. I was even using the Bumble BFF option to make new friends. I have been respectful to all of the matches I have met via the Bumble app. I would like for Bumble to unban me and ********** my ability to be a good, honest, committed and caring user to the ********************** community again. I was a paying customer for ********************** premium and was banned without proactive communication. The reports associated are related to an ex who is creating fake accounts in order to report me multiple times. Bumble support is unresponsive, and the charge on my card has not been refunded for premium. I tried to login on the web version and received a message that my account has been blocked.I believe this to be a mistake as I did not insult, offend or curse at anyone. Ive been using the app heavily for years without problem, and spent $200 for a lifetime premium membership with Bumble. I have also spent over $2,000 on Spotlights over the last 3-4 years with Bumble. I have had a few hundred matches over the last several years, and now all of that is gone. It's almost unfathomable that Bumble can simply permanently ban your account with NO WARNING especially when you've paid them $200 for a lifetime subscription for their services. I am very sure I did not break any rules, and I'm on 6-7 other dating apps with hundreds of matches, and have not even received a warning from these other apps, only from Bumble. Yet I use the same conversation openers and talk exactly the same.Their app has made the mistake of accidentally banning my photos, there was once a point where I could not even upload a single photo of myself. I contacted their support and they acknowledged that they were mistaken in taking down my photos (screenshot of conversation will be posted here). I've now contacted their support about the account ban and have received no reply yet after 1 week.Bumble has made such a huge impact on my life and it really means a lot to me. Can you please check into this issue and look into my conversations? Like I said I have not insulted, used profane or vulgar language, or deliberately insulted anyone on this app. I have matched with a few hundred people and the conversations usually go just fine and have resulted in many dates for me. I had a bumble account which was shadowbanned. I have not been able to access the account or login to it since the ban took place. I believe my account was banned incorrectly due to the ** Algorithim bumble uses that automatically bans accounts based off of pictures used. For many years, I had an online dating profile with the dating app "Bumble". I had purchased a Bumble lifetime subscription, and had bought multiple "coin packs" through the app over those years. On May 26, 2021, I opened the app on my phone and received a message as follows:"Were committed to keeping Bumble safe, which means we have to enforce certain rules when our values are violated. Your account has been blocked because weve received several reports about your behavior on our platform."I attempted numerous times through email, their website, ********* and ******* to get a resolution to this matter, all of which went unanswered.Eventually I asked them to delete all identifying information about myself from their servers, to which I finally got an email response. However, after emailing the supervisor, I was eventually made aware that they would not be deleting my account. (Many of those emails are attached to this complaint.)I eventually gave up trying to get a resolution from the company on or around July 26, 2021 as it seemed completely fruitless to try to continue.At this point, I haven't used or attempted to use the dating app in over a year. Bumble locked my account over a year ago. I no longer had access to the account and couldn't cancel my subscription on-line. However, Bumble continued to charge my credit card at $32.99 per month for the past 12 months. I contacted Bumble every month over the past year to cancel my account and stop charging my credit card. However, they continued to charge my credit card even though I had no access to my account.I contacted my credit card company many times but they were unable to stop the Bumble charges to my credit card account. Finally, I had to cancel my credit card to prevent any further charges.I request that Bumble refund $395.88 for the charges made to my account since the account was locked and I didn't have access.Initial Complaint

Bumble regularly suppresses free speech, (which is know is a different complaint process, however it can limit users' functionality.) They deleted a portion of my profile which was not violent, discriminatory, or illegal in any way. I answered their profile prompt which is "My personal h*** is..." and I said "Fascists, aka maga." That screens out people I don't want to be contacted by and has been part of my profile for a very long time. Reason I'm reaching out to BBB is today I got a prompt that says "you have been moderated" and further violations could result in suspension. That's ridiculous. Thousands of people put the very same preference, either no liberals or no conservatives, and there's nothing wrong with that.Initial Complaint

I am shadow banned on my bumble account which is linked to *************. i used to get a lot of matches/likes from other people then i got one warning from a picture i had which was shirtless but only from my neck up, bumble is known to shadow ban like a lot of these ********* like to be unbanned.
