I parked my car in premium garage on 09/09/2023. There is a post the garage entry indicating the parking rate for time from Sunday to Friday. No Saturday rate is listed. Thus, I assume it is free on Saturday. After about 10days, I received a ticket charging me $97 while the full day rate is $32 for Sunday to Friday. Thus, I appealed online. Yet they keep pushing it off saying they are working on /it. The last email I received about this appeal is on 10/07/2023. The email is as below "I have reviewed your appeal. You were parked in the garage for 2 hours and 44 minutes. You never paid for a session. Therefore, the vehicle was considered in violation and a ticket was generated. The ticket is valid. However, I will request a courtesy reduction to $40 for Unpaid Parking and Enforcement costs. Please wait 2-4 business days before paying the ticket to allow for the request to be completed by our vendor. Use the information on the ticket to make your payment. Please pay within 30 days to avoid an additional $40 late fee. The Gallery Garage (location P2331) is a gateless facility. All signage throughout the location and at all entry/exit points instruct parkers to "Pay Before Walking Away". When entering payment for parking, the license plate is requested as the credential for the vehicle, no physical ticket is required. Parkers may use a smartphone with Camera Pay, textpay, or our app. Or they may enter a payment using a kiosk machine which are located by each of the elevator banks on level 1 of the garage. Regards, ********** Enforcement " Then, I have been waiting for confirmation email or mail notice after. No further information was heard ever after. However, another ticket charging an extra $40 late fee which ends up total charge of $137 in mail arrived to me this morning on 11/13/2023! This whole process makes me think 1. The rate posting without Saturday rate is trap 2. Keep putting off appeal resolve to charge huge amount late fee is another trap.
