We purchased a 2008 motorhome on 07/18/22 from Lonestar RV Liquidators. We were reassured that the maintenance person had inspected the tires, brakes and all the safety issues. After less than 700 miles of driving, we noticed the left rear airbag was leaking. We took it to Camping World in ******** to be inspected on 10/18/22. We were advised by the Service Rep. that it has a busted frame/chassis at the approximate location of the airbag and had been busted for quite some time. We paid $95,900 for a motorhome that has been deemed unsafe to drive.********************, owner had to have known, the frame was busted prior to completion of the sale but sold it as a safe hazard free vehicle anyway. We were told that any issues would be resolved prior to taking delivery. We were also told that we would receive an inspection/maintenance report from Lonestar's maintenance/mechanic but have never received it.We were never told that the vehicle had a broken/busted frame or any other issues such as creases and leaks in the roof. On 10/18/22, we notified ******************** via email to inform him that the motorhome is in the shop at Camping World. During their exploration, they discovered the rear portion of the frame is busted. Their assessment is it has been broken long before we bought it. On 11/1/22, we met with ******************** and his maintenance person at Camping World to inspect the frame. Pictures were taken and discussions made by ******************** as to how to repair the frame. He stated he could take it somewhere to be welded. But in the research we have done and advise from Camping World, it is not safe to weld the frame. What we think he did, is hunted around until he found some "fly by night" welder who agreed to weld it after an extensive search to find someone. Our understanding is that he contacted several that all refused. We informed ******************** on 11/1/22, that we want our money retuned. ******************** said he would contact us. We have not heard from him since 11/1/22.

    Whom it may concern,

Mr. and *************** purchased a 2008 Holiday Rambler Endeavor As Is on 7/18/22. At time of purchase the vehicle also had a non-branded original title and clean CarFax. On 10/28/22 Lonestar RV Liquidators received a lead stating that the *****'s had taken their vehicle into Camping World for a leaky airbag on the rear right that was not there when the customer test drove or conducted their walk-through on vehicle. During the inspection Camping World had performed they had also found damage to frame which at the time of purchase on 7/18/22 or during the walk-through 7/22/22 was not found or evident either. We agreed to meet with customer on 11/1/22 to confirm what camping world had found and help them find a resolution to the findings. We confirmed and let *****'s know that the current damage that was found was repairable and we referred customer to multiple reputable businesses to which ************** became argumentative and aggressive. Due to the volatile reaction, we cordially removed ourselves from the situation.

Attached are the following documents signed and initialed that represent the terms of this purchase.

As we have demonstrated, our documentation reflects that the terms of this purchase were clearly and accurately presented to this customer. We believe we've fulfilled our commitments to this customer and consider this transaction to be closed.

    Respectfully,

    ***************************** - Owner

I am rejecting this response because: First of all, the description given in the meeting at Camping World on 11/1/22 was a total fabrication as far as the description of ************************  That can be verified with ***********************, ********************* advisor.  Second, ******************** expressed to us at the time that he made numerous inquiries to several motorhome repair shops in the area and that he found only one that would do the repair that he requested.  Again, can be verified by *****************  Number three, a test drive and a walk through of the inside of the coach does not give an adequate description of what is happening on top of the coach or underneath of the coach.  If the statements depicted in this response is argumentative, then I guess ************** was argumentative. ******************** also brought up the fact that he knew there had been some kind of recall on the coach's chassis and frame and that was only disclosed at that meeting with **************** at Camping World.  Also, I would like to add, there were several times prior to our meeting that a total mechanical report was promised to us by both ******************** and his mechanic, and we have yet to receive it. This was also discussed in front of *** ***********************************************************

Tell us why here...To whom it may concern,

Mr. and ***************, agreed to purchase this vehicle As Is on 7/18/2022 as to which Lonestar RV Liquidators is not required by law to conduct a pre-delivery inspection, inspection report,or walkthrough but does so regardless to give our customers piece of mind.Lonestar RV Liquidators does also welcome third-party inspectors if the customer prefers one to be performed. ************** of *************** RV Services who conducted the pre-delivery inspection and walkthrough was unsure as to how the customer never received his report but speculates, he possibly had a bad email.************** offered to try and resend report to customer on 11/1/2022 during end of meeting at ********************************* but ************** refused to give ************** his email at that time. I have attached said report conducted on 7/18/2022 from time of purchase and before the walkthrough/delivery that was performed on 7/22/2022.
Lonestar RV liquidators had not had any contact with customer till their plates were hand delivered to them as to which at that time the customer did not have any complaints. ********************** received a contact lead on 10/28/2022 stating a complaint about frame damage found by ********************************* due to the customer bringing in their vehicle for a leaky airbag. Again, a leaky airbag was not evident at time of purchase on 7/18/2022 or on walkthrough performed on 7/22/2022, we had no knowledge of there being any chassis damage, or of Holiday Rambler having any issues on this chassis at that time. I then did my due diligence on 10/28/2022 and found that Holiday Rambler had some issues with the trailing arms and had issued recalls as to which are now expired due to Holiday Rambler not being in business. I did inquire with several reputable businesses on repairing or replacing the trailing arms prior to meeting with customers on 11/1/2022 at camping world.Multiple businesses could replace the trailing arms that we assumed was the issue on their vehicle.
On 11/1/2022, ************** and I met with Mr. and *************** at Camping World. The service advisor of Camping World also met with us and pointed out their findings. Unbeknownst to us he pointed out damage on the rear right to the frame behind the leaky air bag the vehicle was originally brought in for. Again, from my due diligence after receiving the contact lead on 10/28/22 I knew of multiple RV repair facilities who could repair the damage found by *********************************. I did refer Mr. and *************** to *************************** since they were only 10 minutes away from *********************************. If the customer would like I can refer them to someone else who can do the repairs.
As per last response, we have demonstrated, and our documentation reflects that the terms of this purchase were clearly and accurately presented to this customer. We believe we've fulfilled our commitments to this customer and consider this transaction to be closed.

I am rejecting this response because:  The un-signed inspection report from *************** RV Services dated 07/18/22 in this attachment was obviously manufactured after the meeting at Camping World on 11/1/22. The inspection report was requested from both ******************** and ************** on numerous occasions before and after the delivery of the motorhome. If they really wanted us to have that inspection report, they could have called and let me know it was ready to be picked up and I would have been elated to pick it up or they could have handed to me the day of the sale or send by text to either of our phone numbers or present it to us on 11/1/22 at Camping World. The inspection report is faulty anyway because the broken frame is never addressed in the Chassis Inspection section of the report.

As far as Lonestar RV Liquidations stating that there was no contact until we received our plates, that were hand delivered by some woman.  We tried to contact both ******************** and ************** numerous occasions after taking possession of the motorhome because they promised to repair several running lights and a k*** for the stove that they supposedly ordered.

******************** did say that he was going to take the motorhome somewhere because he knew someone that would weld it. Then ************** responded with "do whatever you want with it" ******************** did not specify as to where he was going to have the welding done but he did say that he had contacted several motorhome repair companies that refused to do or guarantee the work .  Let me reiterate, we have had expert (Camping World) motorhome repair technicians tell us, and also internet research done ourselves that welding a portion of a frame that holds an ****lb engine is just simply not safe and cannot be guaranteed.

This whole response from Lonestar RV Liquidators is blatant fabrication.
    Regards
