1 starI would give zero stars if I could. I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with HomePro Technologies in *******, **. Without my knowledge or consent, I was automatically locked into a five-year contract with them through my homebuilder. On top of that, I was forced to lease equipment that was installed in my home no options, no transparency, and absolutely no say in the ********** that Im relocating, Ive discovered that Im either required to continue their service at my new home (which I do NOT want) or pay over $500 just to get out of the contract even though I still have 15 months left. The fact that they tie unsuspecting homeowners into long-term agreements like this, with no clear disclosure and no real choice, is absolutely unacceptable. It feels predatory and exploitative.Homebuyers beware: Read every line of fine print and ask your builder what third-party contracts youre being locked into. I would never willingly choose to work with HomePro again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before getting involved with them.Review fromDorothy C

Sold our house, got the new homeowners to take over the service, and this company is still trying to hold me to a $500 termination bill for canceling services they cant provide me. I spoke with a supervisor that had the worst attitude ever and was so disrespectful. Whatever you do, do not sign up for services with this company.Review fromBrady S

Horrible and don't care. Requested cancellation of services because of divorce and selling the house. They keep sending me invoices and say there is an agreement that I have to keep paying on - there is no agreement. Said I would have to put in cancellation back in October. I don't want your service and therefore I am not held to anything, you don't provide anything anyway. Your reviews prove it, trying to force people to pay when they have no obligation - trying to get free money. CROOKS!HomePro

According to our records, a service agreement was signed prior to installation, and as outlined in that agreement, customers are provided with a ***** right of rescission, allowing them to cancel the contract without penalty before installation takes place. After that period, the terms of the agreement remain in effect unless formally canceled in accordance with those terms.
We make every effort to be transparent about our contract obligations and do not charge customers beyond what is specified in their signed agreement. 1 starI was forced to select at least one star, but really I would leave this company no stars. This company is not ready for prime time. Their customer service is uninformed and dishonest. I received conflicting information from customer service and supervisory staff, and was told multiple times that I would receive callbacks that never occurred. I was also able to enter my home after traveling for work expecting to need to enter the alarm code when returning home, but nope. I was able to just walk right in without the alarm sounding, and HomePro does not acknowledge the event. I would not advise anyone to do business with this company.Review fromCassidy P

STAY AWAY!!!!!!Weve had Home Pro for two years, and it has been nothing but a headache. Their products constantly break, and if you dare to change your Wi-Fi password, good lucknothing will work. When something inevitably goes wrong (which happens often), they charge $100 just to come out and fix their own faulty equipment.After dealing with issue after issue, we finally decided to cancel. When we called, we were told, Just cancel sometime in March, and youll be fine. That was a blatant lie. Because we missed some hidden deadline, they hit us with a $400+ cancellation fee.This company is a complete scam. Their service is unreliable, their fees are outrageous, and their customer service is dishonest. Save yourself the frustration and go with a more reputable company. I wouldnt recommend Home Pro to my worst enemy.HomePro

Stay away from HomePro!!!I do NOT recommend. I am giving them 1 star (may be less) due to a very bad experience with them. Specially the sales department is there for a day robbery.I recently had ordered a full media installation with all their equipments (about 7 grand of service) and it was installed last month. They supposedly programmed living room TV the same day but I was suggested they can come anytime to complete this and can come later with no charge since its covered. However, when I called them to schedule and they are asking additional fee for them to come overI tried reaching out to the sales person who quoted me and he isnt helping but claimed that I didnt understand what they said instead.This is super annoying after spending 7 thousand dollars with them.- They dont give you service what they advertised.- They blamed you instead of completing their remaining job - They already overcharged you and looking for opportunities to charge again and againHomePro

1 starThis company led my family to sign a contract through misinformation. When we signed up for the security services we were under the impression after the salesperson sold us the packet that we only had a one year contract. As the owner of the new house and with all the stress of the move we were taken advantage and somehow we signed a five year contract. What makes it even worse is that we tried upgrading the system with HomePro and reached out several times with no responses. We got tired and contacted another security company and changed our services to them. Come to find out when we called to cancel our services with HomePro that we still owed 36 months on the contract. We are now $1800 in debt with HomePro and they refuse to release us from the contract. They were so quick to sell us the services, but very slow to answer the call when we were looking at upgrading the system. we DO NOT RECOMMEND HomePro to anyone and will go out of our way to let new homeowners to not even entertain HomePro.Review fromTorrance W

Tried to call for alarm/home theater service, the representative tell me to call back next without asking my phone number and name. I reminded him and he said give him the info. Then 2 days passed without hearing anything from them. I went online and fill out a request, they not even reply. Worst company ever encounter.
