I purchased this vehicle from Global Auto Auctions. It was advertised to have a title. However, they only sent me a title supplement and bill of sale. I am exporting this vehicle and customs will not clear the export without a title. I have tried calling and emailing the company MANY times to try and locate one and they are ignoring all my responses. If they cannot provide me with a CLEAN TITLE like they have advertised in the bill of sale, then I need my money back.

On February 4, 2024 I registered online with Global Auto Auctions in the hope to buy a used car for export. Before elaborating on my issue, I would say I should have known better and first read BBB and other online reviews. On March 21, 2024, using the BUY IT NOW Option, I bought a 2016 NISSAN ROGUE S Item Link: 2016 NISSAN ROGUE S Your Offer: $5500.00 Inventory #: ******** Vin #: ***************** Required Deposit: 10% or $600 (whichever is greater!)With all inclusive fees, the final purchase price was $6654.00 Refund issued and not cashed in $4657.80 Difference to be reimbursed ******* After several txt messages about shipping the car, **** said he want to talk to me directly whenever I have time. March 26, 2024 he called me and said we are about to ship your car. There is a mechanic and towing driver. Unfortunately ********* is noisy and it has 126K miles instead of the 56K mentioned in the posting. He stated I have opportunity to walk out of the deal without any penalty and that my full refund can be process within 10 business days. I was very surprised and puzzled and said thank you for your transparency and keeping out of trouble. The Nissan Rogue I wanted had picture of the dashboard with the 56K miles no doubt and it was a blue color. I said ****, I still need to buy a CAR and I am willing to find another one, provided you can assist in getting the credit back toward a replacement one. I told him for the refund, I am heading to ****** for two weeks between 4/12 and 4/27 and they can mail check to my home.Initially we agreed to that and still if I find a car I like, the money will be used to pay for it. I suggested him several cars but he never took any action and I started being skeptical. I investigated the Nissan rogue with the 126K and that SUV was black and in the same location as the one I purchased online. Right there I realized I got SCAMMED and was now basically in the rush to see how swiftly I can get my money back from this business. I tried everything possible to get a timeline for my refund and I could not get it an answer. Once I started confronting them, they issued a **** tracking # and gave it to me and that my mail is on its ways. Five days later, I still could not trace it and their SCAM is continuing. **** told me that their refund policy is three months and I need to be patient. I said no you told me 10 business days and I need my refund or else. After I told them I am initiating a filing with TDLR, BBB, FTC and The TX Attorney General, they they issued the check minus 30% as a penalty. All the long this was their plan to ROB me and my transaction never reached the real auction. Purchases are not directly executed online. Their business is acting as a third party dealer and you pay them all the fees and then they initiate an offer on your behalf.Reading the reviews at BBB site, I saw exact similar complaints about GAA. This business needs to be shutdown and their license revoked. It is a SCAM.

Hello, ******************************* has been refunded. Please see attached document. Thank you!

    Customer Answer

    Date: 06/09/2024

I am rejecting this response because:

I have read the response from GAA and I am baffled as he said I was not forthcoming and hasn't been honest in my complaint. I received PARTIAL REFUND  as far as I am concerned.
GAA did not find me, I found them online and subscribed and I genuinely wanted to purchase an SUV for my self to ship internationally. Certainly I would have been a repeat customer as I have shipped atleast 8 cars in last 15 years including two excavators.
In our ****** chat, I have proposed three times a replacement car (C38918544,  I37857675, C48601784) and I did not get any favorable response. CARs are moving fast and you have to act fast if and when you see a car you like. The whole intent was to get me frustrated, make me walk away and slap me 30% penalty.  **** intentionaly talked me on the phone (OFF THE RECORD) and  talk me out the car I purchased and he guarantied me to either get my full refund in 10 days with no penalty whatsoever or work on a replacement car. I was 100% willing to work on a replacement car at the time. I thought he was really looking for my best interest at the time. Actually he wasn't after all and it was just a setup.

**** pinged me on May 29th and here is the excerpt and my response to him.
"is it possible for us to work on a replacement? i can have billing department update ur account and u can use all the funds you have with us and go towards the purchase"?  **************?   May 29, 7:17 PM

    My response
May 30, 7:44 AM Message from you, Well if you recall I told you, based on the whole situation, I would rather ship my 2013 ***** Pilot with 125K and take brand new or certified SUV for myself. The ***** only needs front brake pads. I bought the ***** new and I am a single owner and it is fully paid off. The full refund will go long away toward purchase of new SUV for me. So I would prefer refund. Just too many unknowns and the user experience don't make me comfortable proceeding with another transaction., Thursday, May 30 2024, 7:44 AM.

Bottom line I need my full refund. I am not at fault on this matter. They need to either issue me a check for the remaining balance of $1996.20 or credit my account for that amount. In my own terms and if and when I see a car I like, I will enter the auction and if I win whatever the price difference and auction fees, I would pay for it.

    Customer Answer

I have attached the bounced check I deposited to my bank account. The money was deposited and credited to my account. Four days later the transaction was reverted and my bank account went negative as I had already emitted a payment using those funds. I was obligated to to transfer money from my investment fund to balance the account.

It has been well over three months since I made the payment to GAA (3/21) and we are today July 1st, and I am owed $6654.00

Please see attached document as our response to ****************. Thank you!

    Customer Answer

    Date: 09/05/2024

I am rejecting this response because:  Every time GAA responded to this inquiry, it provided a new version of the issue and it shows how unethical and unwilling the company is. I will not settle for less than the $6654 I am owed. If GAA was cooperative, since March, they would have credited my account and let me proceed purchasing a replacement car. I tried and they failed as their sole intent was to squeeze as much money as they can from me by making me walk out. I have READ all their statements and rules in their website. We will settle this in a Delaware Court. They will pay all my fees related to this dispute including laywers fees.

Thank you BBB and I appreciated all your effort to help mediate this dispute ina friendly matter. Unfortunately the two parties are too far apart and only the Court of Law will resolve this.

Global Auto Auctions have been in the industry for close to two decades. We act as a broker for insurance companies. We do not own or possess these cars, in fact these vehicles are located nationwide which are stored on a member-dealer only facility, they are not open to the public. Since we are licensed and bonded, we made it open to the public and we are helping insurance companies find buyers for their vehicles. If you are still interested to purchase salvage vehicles, you might want to give us a chance. Thank you!

On March 25 2024, I made a wire payment to global auto auction for the purchase of a vehicle 2018 ***** CRV. When I made the payment I have to wait a couple of days because there was something wrong with the vehicle. So I requested a refund and they keep telling me we'll send you a refund in a week and when the week comes by they tell me again in a week I should get my refund and it has been 1 month and still no refund.

On March 12 2024, I purchase a 2007 ************ Camry VIN number 4T1BE46K27U fromt Golal Auto Auctions.I deposited $850 by Credit card payment, the wired transferred $2,250.Once the wire transfer was received, i received a text that the vehicle would be delivered 5 to 7 business days. I waited for a week and contacted ***** the senior manager who handled the purchase. He said that a drive would be available by next Friday. I waited and nothing happened. I called and text nearly every week and for the whole month, all he did was gave me excuses. Then on April 4th he text me stating he was trying to reach me, and the car was no longer available. Said that I will receive the full amount paid.Go to the bank a cancel the wire, which the bank said that they knew I couldn't cancel the wire transfer once I has been sent. I told him that I was going to file a police report and a claim with the BBB and he begged me not to file the report. I have attached all the text communication for proof. Then on April 8th I received a chech for $1300.They stated that I terminated the transaction and charged $930, and said that they refunded my card $850 which is not true. I went to the bank snd check my account and the $850 was not returned Basically, I am requesting a full refund of my $3,100 that I paid for the car, which was sold to another buyer after all the legal contarct documents were completed.I am filling a police report, if the information is neede I can also provide.

On March 15th, I purchased a car at Global Auto Auction. The full amount ($20,654) was wired to the company on the same day.Since then, they keep saying the car will be delivered in a few days and we still havent received the car or the money back. Several phone calls, emails, messages were sent to the company and we keep hearing the same excuse. Over a month has gone by and we are still waiting, at this point, even wondering if weve been scammed. I work with car hauling and *** been losing money because I havent gotten the car I purchased to work with nor received my money back. Every time I call **************, he says the same thing, that it will be a few more days or simply doesnt answer anymore. Ive been disrespected, and my rights violated. Im a consumer and Global Auction has done me wrong. Im losing money. They have my money and I dont have the car.

I put a deposit of $500.00 to bid on vehicles. Since I never used the deposit and could never win a bid I decided to ask a for refund. The debit card I used to put the deposit on my account with is no longer active, so asked could I give them another card? After I asked that question, I never heard anything from anyone about the refund and now you can't get anyone on the phone nor anyone on chat. They just will not release my $500.00. I even asked if they could mail a check and, in the chat, they told me no. Who can I contact from here about this company about my $500.00?
