    I have fulfilled the amount owed in a settlement with Caine & Weiner. After payment, i've noticed the account is still on my credit report after it has been settled.

We have sent a request to the credit reporting agencies to have this account updated on the consumers credit report. This request may take up to 45 days to be reflected on the consumers credit report.

    I'm not liable for this debt with Progressive I do not have contract with Caine & Weiner, they did not provide me with the original contract as I requested on 02/28/2024 via certified tracking mail which I know Caine & Weiner received on March 7, 2024, at 9:39 am because I received my green U.S.P.S tracking confirmation showing Caine & Weiner signed for my request letter Caine & Weiner is reporting derogatory information to the credit bureaus Experian, Equifax and TransUnion .I have noticed that ******************* has given my info to another company and now they are trying to collect on a debt I'm not liable for which is illegal and against the law according to 15 USC 1692 (g) Section 809 (b) Failing to validate a debt as allowed to the debtor. and Caine & Weiner may be liable under 15 U.S.C. 1692k for failing to comply with the provisions of the ***** and liable for reporting this illegal debt to credit reporting agencies

    I am NOT liable for this debt with Caine & Weiner. I DO NOT have a contract with ****************************** they cannot provide me with the original contract as requested multiple times.     We completed our investigation of this complaint and believe we have the accurate consumer and account information. We previously mailed the consumer verification on 05/20/24. The consumers dispute is noted in our system. However, creditor records continue to indicate that the balance remains due and as such the information being reported to the credit bureaus appears accurate. Our office did not purchase the debt and as such there would be no contract between our agency and the consumer.     CAINE & WEINER *********************************** ************** ACCOUNT# *********** U.S. Code ***** - False or misleading representations Instruction: Provide proof of this alleged item, specifically the original application, contract, note, or other instrument bearing my signature.Failing that, the items must be deleted from the report as soon as possible. In addition please provide the contract signed between PROGRESSIVE, notarized and sworn under penalty and perjury for CAINE & WEINER ability to collect this alleged debt. The non-creditor advised that they have sent me records via mail in the past explaining this debt however I never received these alleged documents. Were these documents mailed certified mail? I dont believe this non creditor and feel that they are not being honest . Please send all validating records through the BBB and certified mail to my address. I have uploaded a copy of my ID showing my mailing address.

    I do not know who this company is, I do not know what they do, I do not have any sort of contracts or agreements with this company. I only realized that they were on my credit report when I was trying to refinance my house. I requested original contracts with this company and have yet to hear hear back. At this moment this company is hurting my financially even though I have no knowledge of them or what they do nor want.

    I am rejecting this response because: There was no communication prior to me disputing this incorrect debt collection until I disputed it which leads me to believe it is an unjust collection. Shouldnt the collection agency have done their research? Why am I doing their job for them.

    I have called this company and requested the **** be verified and if they would send the original contract agreement. They have yet to do so at this time. Its been 3 months since I made contact and still have not received anything. I would like this debt to be removed from my credit report. I have no agreement or contract with Caine and weiner.

    I am rejecting this response because:   This still have not provided me with proof or verification of this so called debt, nor have they sent me proof of a contract with Caine and weiner company.     I am rejecting this response because:   You just admitted to me and you not having a contract. I have no knowledge of any debt or money owed to your company so for that reason I am asking you remove an inaccurate posting on my credit report for an account that is inaccurate.
