This is a creditor who reported to my credit bureau that I owe money. The company has not once contacted me. I have never heard of them. I looked them up and immediately noticed the low ratings and complaints of others with the same issue. Im concerned it is a scam. I never opened a account in Jan. I was contacted by this collection agency for a debt that may or may not incurred in 2012. I asked the agency for a debt validation letter to be sent to me. I spoke to someone named ********* that seemed quite bothered I was asking for this information. First she stated that the info would be sent to me in a week then changed it to she was not sure when the information would be sent to me which is unacceptable. If this collection agency in fact has the debt then they should have the information to be sent to me as required by law. They are constantly selling this debt to various agencies making it difficult to settle as this is supposedly from 2012.Customer Answer

I spoke to Credence Resource Management many times asking for a debt validation letter. I have yet to receive the documentation, first they said 30days to receive the information, then it was changed to they don't know how long it will take for me to receive the documentation. Which by law they have to provide the information. This collection agency has many complaints for the same reason, the consumer asks for the debt validation information and none is provided. Also upon speaking to representative she told me this account was opened 12 years ago, I would like the information requested to prove this debt is legitimate.Business Response
