So, I have debated on whether to post this, get a news station involved or even get a lawyer. Still might do one of the other. A friend of mine stayed in the hotel January 16th 2023 and we watched the Cowboys vs Buccaneers game. I valet parked and I remembered that the valet person told me if you are eating they comp your meal, just give ** your cell number etc. My friend and I ate and had drinks. I haven't seen my friend in almost like 10+ years, so there is no rush for us to leave. I flagged the hostess down and showed her my text because I thought the meal was comped and she was like "okay thank you", so we go out back and I show him the turf and big screen where everyone was sitting during the game. Go back inside and hung out in the front of the lobby for at least 30min, but before we left the bar area we gave our waitress behind the bar a pretty huge tip in cash cause we were going to make sure we took care of her. Fast forward, two weeks ago. I was approached by the Liaison officer who's name was ***************. Let's just say the man was clearly trying to make a scene shouting loudly that I skipped out on $156 tab last time I was in there. I was like, whoa, no I didn't and explained where the miscommunication was and was happy to pay whatever I owed. I expressed my apologies to ******* the bartender because she was the one we had the first time. **** made several guest uncomfortable how he was talking to me and causing a scene and the other manager Collin ******** (had a pony tail) was insinuating the same thing, was no help. After I repeatedly said I am happy to pay the tab. These two were trying to embarrass and humiliate me over something I had know idea I did. Yes I am black and I know that my skin color had everything to do with it. If I knowingly skipped out on a tab, do you think I'd come back? I asked Mr. ****** is this how he speaks to everyone? How long has he been doing this and is this how you treat guest? It was crickets. Color Discrimination!Omni Hotels (Corporate Office)

I sincerely appreciate you getting back to me and knowing that the hotel has been notified of this incident that took place. I wouldn't have wished this on my worst enemy of trying to be humiliated in front of customers and families that were just trying to enjoy their meal. I don't think anyone especially not a guests that are willing to come in and pay or spend time at what I thought was nice place to hangout and enjoy themselves. Definitely needs to be addressed and I appreciate you again for reaching out to me. You can talk with my wife and she would let you know that I was mortified and couldn't enjoy my evening with my friends I was meeting up with. Just really unfortunate that professionals would even think that it was okay to address me like they did.
I haven't heard anything from a manger or from the two men that gave me their names.Review fromSteffan M

Stayed at the Omni ******** in early December. While we were checking out and sitting by the fire in the Lobby someone walked by and stole one of our bags (mine). When discovered less than 5 minutes later loss prevention was called and showed up few minutes later. Details given and we were told we would be contacted. ********* police opened a case. We were finally told later that day that video confirmed the theft and would be passed to police. days later when I called Hotel to check on situation, I was told by loss prevention that they had handled it wrong. They initially reported it as a lost bag instead of stolen which had greatly slowed down the response time. While I had or have no expectations of seeing bag again...which contained laptop...the very disappointing thing is the Hotel with the exception of Loss Prevention has never called or contacted to say a word. Only thing we received was from insurance telling us they weren't liable for things that went on in the lobby. Have placed no less than 5 calls to Hotel and have never been answered or called back. Very disappointing.Omni Hotels (Corporate Office)

2 starsThis company makes it impossible to get your giftcard balance. The number listed on website under contact us for giftcard support doesn't work when you hit option 1 for card balance it doesn't recognize that option so you then let the number ring and ring it never goes to voicemail. Then I called Guest Relations waited on hold them it goes to voice-mail, leave a message and they havent returned my phone call. Then read giftcard terms and conditions on the website at the bottom it reads balance inquiry call call it and all it does is rings no one picks up. So after all of this confusion I've come to the conclusion they are not consumer friendly. It's impossible to figure something that should be so simple and should be a painless task but still not figuring this out. At this point I'll just give away my giftcard. It shouldn't be this difficult or hard to get something so simple.Review fromAlice W

1 starI have the worst experience in my life. I went to Mokara Spa in *******-*****, two weeks ago and they gave me the most painful massage. The therapist did not know what she was doing. I ask for a glass of champagne and never received. The front people did not help me at all. I talked to the manager, and she gave me a lousy excuses. No refund, no discount. Extremally disappointed. Please do not go the Spa. The women's lockers were dirty, looks like they have not clean the sauna and the hot tub in years. The showers smell pretty bad. The lockers were jammed. They did not have sandals or robe for my size. No paper toilet in the bathroom. I wish I can give them a 0 star.Review fromVenita S

1 starEarly August, I stayed at the Omni for a convention. This was one of the worst lodging experiences I have ever had. From check in to customer service, to check out and lack of follow up by hotel management, the Omni Richmond made my visit to Richmond very difficult to enjoy. Front desk staff was rude, key card didn't work to work to use the elevator, was assigned a filthy room that included mold, hair in the beds, bathroom sink and shower, sticky fluid on the table, dirty/stained towels, sticky bathroom floor, etc. This is a complete health hazard. The business chose not to compensate me at all for the stay. They promised to have a manager contact me the following week. Not only did I not hear back from management but 11 days after checkout, I was charged full price for the room.Review fromRobert D

1 starI just wanted to let you know that I've stayed at other Omni properties, especially the Bedford Springs Resort, and I was truly disappointed in our recent stay at the William Penn Hotel. Upon arrival, our room remote did not work, the toilet was leaking, and the coffee maker leaked all over the furniture. These problems were addressed immediately, and I appreciate that. I reported that our room was filthy and if it could be cleaned. Housekeeping did come and it still was not cleaned to the very least of standards. I just wanted you to know that I understand that Covid has impacted everyone, including myself, however for the amount charged for that room, it was unacceptable. We stay in Pittsburgh frequently and have stayed at the Fairmont, the Renaissance Hotel, and the Hotel Monaco and have never had these issues. The grand dame hotel of Pittsburgh was truly disappointing. Thank you for your time,Review fromRoselyn M

1 starWe stayed at the Omni in Louisville Kentucky in June. They charged my credit card twice $866 and $1244. I have spent hours calling the hotel, customer relations and the corporate office and no will respond. We stayed there for 3 nights. Worst experience! I wish I could give them zero star!Review fromRaymond M
