I booked a trip using Expedia/Travelocity for a stay at OYO Hotel DMN Airport in Deming, NM for 3 or 4 nights to begin on Sept 22, 2021. When I arrived for check in they had no power. The receptionist wasn't able to check me in. The power outage was internal and she had no idea when it would be up and running. Her advise to me was to cancel so I wouldn't be charged and I would have to find somewhere else to stay. I sat out in my truck and made the cancellation with Expedia/Travelocity. On the 23rd I received an apology email through Travelocity from OYO stating that they regret to inform me that they were unable to accommodate me at the hotel due to unavoidable circumstances. I still have the email. Then on the same date the I received a cancelation fee posted to my Chase Credit Card that I had used to book the room of $174.33 titled "OYO-Expedia Cancel". After several attempts to get this resolved I basically became frustrated and gave up figuring that that's what they expect people to do. Could you please help? Thanks in advance, *****

I stayed at the oyo in bossier city on 7/21/2022. I paid in full $60 on my debit card. When I got to the room it looked like the bed was slept in. When I looked closer this is what I found. Hairs, empty condom rapers in the bed. When I looked in the bathroom there were no towels nor any higine products. The refrigerator smelled so bad when iboped the door. It was turned all the way up and not cleaned out. When I went to the staff they said sorry and that was it. I went to the office and she'd to pay for another night. The man said I couldn't change rooms ND it would be not $60 but $75. I left and went and spent my money to holiday Inn. These are just a couple of pics I snapped of the room.

I booked a hotel at OYO hotel off hwy 165 North. Booked a cabin suit. I did NOT receive that. I got a room (that stated it had elevators as I have CHF!) on the 2nd floor with 4 bugs or more, nasty blood and stains everywhere. No pillows on the bed thankfully as that is where the bugs were crowded. Also it was NOT a penthouse, and she asked would I take a king? I said no ma'am to Mrs/Ms/Miss Shaterika/canceat (what she wrote on the paper but said sha-tear-I-Ka! This happens around 4AM-6AM7/18/2022. There are wires and cords like live electric lines down hanging from ceilings, vomit all down the hauls dried and stained, horribly covered in the smell of weed and cigarettes so strongly I almost puked!!! This is indoors keep in mind. Also they had the fire detectors in the room without batteries and I have pictures of that as well. I told her and she just laughed and mumbled something I believe to have been I don't care. Also have tiles off the ceilings and buckets everywhere. It's not up to code whatsoever!!! It also appears to be a scam because hotels won't respond to refund me, she wouldn't either. I was bookin a room online for 59.09 and it says total charged is 91.00!!! I have pictures of all of this. I am absolutely disgusted and sickened with this.

We (my husband and I) called on 6/30/22 to book a OYO motel room for the night of 7/1/2022. The OYO agent told us they had no rooms available at the location we inquired about but that she could book a room at a comparable motel with 10 miles for approximately $140 (don't recall exact amount, our **** was billed $155.38). We agreed and when we arrived the following afternoon just after 5pm at OYO in ******* PA we were told that our room was not cleaned yet and probably would not be available for a couple of hours and that we should "come back later". This motel did not look at all comparable to what we had seen advertised on line before we called, and when we checked the web site of the Dalton motel we had booked we discovered that they were advertising rooms for $69/night. We immediately tried to cancel with the motel staff but were told we had to call OYO customer service, who told us that it was non-cancelable. We attempted several more times to contact OYO CS only to be disconnected or told to leave a phone number assuring us they would contact us within 30 minutes. After not hearing from them we found another place to spend the night. We subsequently received a couple of texts thanking us for our business. We feel that we were mislead about the quality of the accommodations and that OYO was negligent in that the check in time was 3pm and room would not have been available until 7pm or possibly later.

I stayed at an OYO hotel on 7-8-2022. I booked this room via Booking.com. The final price after all taxes and fees came out to $144.57. Upon arriving at the hotel and checking in, I was told last minute by the front desk clerk that there would be a $100 deposit fee. Since this was not mentioned prior, I had to do some money transferring and almost had to cancel and forfeit the entire cost of the room since it would be considered a "last minute" cancellation. Once we made it to the room, the smell was horrific! I tried to open a window in an attempt to get some fresh air but all that came wafting in was the smell of cigarette and marijuana smoke from the employees that were sitting smoking outside the main entrance of the hotel. I know that they were employees because they had their name tags on. It was so potent that I had to close the window back up and deal with the smell of the room instead. There wasn't a single clock inside the room to check the time and the only way I could was to turn on the TV and sadly the TV only worked half the time. The bathroom was filthy with hair and what looked and smelled like urine in the grouting of the floor and for some reason the toilet would make weird noises and drain every 10-15 minutes. There was also only one large towel available to take a shower and it had some sort of stain on it as well as the hand towels. Almost every power outlet was broken or somehow stretched out to the point where anything that was plugged into them would hang out and eventually fall out completely. All through the night there were loud noises and sudden bangs that kept startling my baby awake and making it so neither my fiancé nor I could get any sleep. Lastly there was an abundance of drugged out people roaming the parking lot and halls making us feel too uncomfortable to leave our room and that our car and everything in it wasn't going to be safe. I have been going back and forth with the company via email and they refuse to refund me.

I checked in at Oyo in Memphis on the 29th of May. I was supposed to check out on the 31. I Saw roaches and others people's belongings in the room. I instantly went back to the front to get a refund. I was assured that I would receive my money back. They only refunded me $2.75 out of 144.75. They have sent me emails saying that I would receive a refund in 7 to 14 business days and never received it. Now they're asking for bank statements.

I rented a room at the oyo Hotel in St Louis Missouri the same city in which I live. Upon looking at my bank statement I saw that I was charged multiple times by the hotel once I contacted the hotel they told me I was charged for smoking in the room and stealing a mirror off of the wall. Of course I denied the claims against me and I was told to take it up with my bank the person on the phone was completely in extremely rude to me. Once finally with my bank after an investigation I was told that my complaint would be denied and they sent me photographs from the hotel room. Once talking again with the hotel was told that I lit a candle in the hotel room which is the same as smoking. But there is no signage or anything saying that you're not allowed to have a candle in the room it is definitely not the same as smoking cigarettes or other substances. I in fact did not steal a mirror from the room I didn't even have any tools with me I was told by the hotel that I left the room with two book bags I probably had the mirror in the book bag. Yes I had to book bags I had just spent the night in a hotel room they were my clothes and the other was personal hygiene products. I don't believe that smoking is the same as lighting a candle and if they believe that it is it should be listed on things are not allowed to do in the hotel I was charged hundreds of dollars for things that I did not do and there was no warning to not do these things I absolutely did not steal anything from the hotel room I wouldn't even know how to remove a mirror if I wanted it. I was sent two pictures by my bank telling me these are the reasons they denied my claim
