Bestow, Inc. Response
06/08/2022
Applications for life insurance at Bestow include a certification checkbox to ensure confirmation of the following: "I verify, as the proposed insured, that I am personally completing this application without any assistance or supervision, while physically located in the United States."
When someone other than the policy owner completes and signs an application, the legal requirements of the contract are tripped, and the policy simply cannot remain in place. When policies are canceled, previously collected premiums are returned to the policy owner.
Again, we appreciate your feedback, and we understand that unintentional mistakes can happen during the application process. Because we share your desire to seek the coverage and protection you need, we encourage you to continue working with the carrier that issued this policy, as they have provided an opportunity for the policyowner to appeal their decision.

If Bestow didn't think they were selling the policy to the policy holder, then why is Bestow sending the money back to the policy holder? This is fraud. We will be filing a formal complaint with the Texas Attorney General and encouraging others who have had problems to do so as well. This ridiculous explanation won't hold up in court.
