They are releasing my name and phone number to organizations for marketing purposes when consent has never been given. They are selling my privacy against my wishes.Business Response

I called them and said I needed files of emails OR phone numbers in specific zip codes (to be used as identifiers for custom audiences in FB). At first I was told they couldn't separate the files by zip code, which would have been fine. I could have looked elsewhere. Then they said yes they COULD separate by zip, so I went ahead & ordered. I was assured this was the most up to date accurate data. I got the excel file, all jumbled up. I can't use the data that way & asked for a refund. They insisted they would make it right, but the 2nd file was STILL all jumbled up. I decided to test the accuracy of the data, because I got suspicious. I spent 5 hours isolating one zip code to upload to a custom audience in FB for advertising, and came back with "<10" which tells me the data is not at all accurate. I KNOW there are more than 10 people in a zip code who are on FB! So there ended up being TWO issues: unusable data because of being jumbled up AND old/inaccurate data. Because I used another company and got WAY more into the custom audience using the same zip code. I asked for a refund & was told they couldn't do it. This is unacceptable because data has to be usable, and accurate, and it was neither. Unfortunately after I had ordered, I then managed to find all sorts of bad reviews, which my initial research on the company failed to unearth. I got more useable data for $59 than all this junk for $400!!!Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 2, 2022/07/06) */ We are sorry to hear that you are not more satisfied with your list results. Our records show that you were provided with 2 files. Both files were provided based on correspondence with your Sales Executive and your purchase order. The purchase order does not show a request to sort by zip code. However with any excel file, you can sort it yourself by using the sort function/option. As for the data that is now unusable, we want to work with you to resolve this matter. As such we can agree to cancel this order minus the 10% cancellation fee. The total refund amount would come to $360.00 Please confirm to have this refund processed. Data axle said they could sell me 48,000 healthclubs addresses with business emails (emails are extra charge) I ask on many occasions for samples of data that they were going to sell me, but they assured me that I would be satisfied! They advertise 100 percent satisfaction guarantee I paid them 9100 dollars for the 48,000 addresses with emails and what I received after paying them was not the healthclub addresses I paid for ,some businesses that were related to fitness thousands of others that were non related to fitness I ask for a refund they refuse to give me a refund I feel like I've been scammedBusiness Response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/29) */ Earlier this month (June 2022) the Customer contacted Data Axle USA to acquire a data file with specific Standard Industry Classification Codes (SICs) and email addresses. The file was generated and unintentionally included both Primary and Secondary SICs. Data Axle USA acknowledged the oversight and re-ran the request using only Primary SICs to fulfill the order. Additionally, 15k supplemental records were provided to the Customer at no additional charge. Data Axle USA made every good faith effort to reconcile the Customer's concerns including the creation of more than a dozen custom file formats to ensure the data was formatted to the exact specification as directed by an associate of the Customer. Data Axle USA is committed to our customer's satisfaction across our products, services, and support. We will continue to make every reasonable effort to address customer concerns moving forward. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/30) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I'm uploading my email communications with Anita Fruechtenicht from data axles sales department where I'm looking to purchase specific business addresses, with emails original order was 48,000 healthclubs and gymnasium addresses without business emails when we wanted the businesses that had emails also ,total amount was decreased to 35,000 business listings! Correspondence Emails will show I ask for sample multiple times before payment was given I was assured that their would be no problems. When we received our file! It was not what we agreed to purchase was less than my original order and thousands of unrelated businesses! I was refused a refund! So basically data axle can just sell you anything and you cannot get a refund because their reason was the data was already emailed to me, when data axle knows that's not what I agreed to purchase for a custom order! It's a custom order! That should say it all I wanted specific business addresses Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/07/07) */ Attaching documentation to support the delivery of 50,753 records/leads (roughly 2,700 more than the 48k requested) from 2 separate orders. Both orders have been delivered and received by the Customer. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/07/08) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) After deeper review of business address listings data axle sold me ,I found not only are their businesses of nonrelation which was my main concern now upon, Investigating the related businesses that I wanted to pay for ,are not active businesses (closed businesses) my concern is data axle is knowing selling business addresses of businesses that are closed! These are fraudulent practices and criminally now my business is out of 9100 dollarsInitial Complaint

Our company has been in communications with ExactData for quite some time. We have been working with Ryan ****** Chief Sales Officer. While determining what contacts we would like to purchase we had very specific requirements (titles and industry focus) and communicated those to him through the process. We were promised 6,777 contacts and only received 6,228. We have received a very broad contact list which is largely useless. Roughly 451 (7%) of the contacts we purchased can be used by us. The other 5,777 (93%) are completely irrelevant. We have since tried to contact Ryan multiple times and he has not responded to our multiple emails or calls except for a generic email stating that "a ticket has been generated." This is a complete contrast to before when he was trying to sell the data to us. Customer service in general has been deplorable and on further investigation we see that ExactData has a terrible reputation and we are not the only customers experiencing this. We want a complete refund. No other resolution is acceptable to us.Business Response
