    On July 15 I was logged into my tinder account update my profile bio since it kept deleting every time you closed the app due to a system bug. I then went to my messages and began to draft a message to an individual when my account suddenly kicked me out and said you were banned. I was trying to establish plans for the evening when this occurred. I reviewed the terms of use and related policies and could not discover what I could have violated because nothing applied to my situation. I have had the account and platform for years with not a single problem or anything. I use it to connect with people both in hometown and various locations as I travel for work. This ban appears to be potentially unrelated to everything and a potential system error from my perspective. I work in law enforcement and can figure the only purpose for the ban was because I have a picture of me on the platform in a suit with my badge. I have heard of this happening to several friends and whenever they reach out and appeal tinder advises its a system issue. I would like an explanation of the reason for the ban and the account reinstated.

Tinder issued multiple warnings for this profile content and made the decision to ban this account after the content was repeatedly uploaded. Per the Tinder Terms of Use, Tinder may, at its sole discretion, terminate your account without a refund of any purchases if you have violated this Agreement, misused the Service or behaved in a way that Tinder regards as inappropriate or unlawful, including actions or communications that occur on or off the Service.

    This account will remain banned, and will not be reinstated. Any new accounts Hunter creates will also be subject to termination.

    I am rejecting this response because: the company is advising in their response that they issued multiple warnings for this profile content however, no such response or notification was made to the user regarding their activity. No in-app or external notifications were made advising to the user regarding this conduct and as such it was inferred that the system had a potential bug that was resulting in information to be removed.  A reconsideration of the ban is requested because multiple notification were in fact not made to the user and if such notification was made the conduct wouldve ceased.

    Last year I was banned from using the Tinder and Hinge dating apps for reasons that are unclear to me. I had paid for the premium version on the Tinder app and had not violated any of the terms of service on either app but was unable to get a response from their customer support team. I would like my ban to be lifted from both of these apps so that I may continue use of either one.

    I have used match groups tinder application for over a year now and it always garners the same result. The app provides likes and some matches at the beginning when I first open a profile but then all of a sudden I stop receiving any, even if I continue to be active on the app. This leads me to believe that my profile is not being shown on the app or being shown to a select few. I had a friend even test out if they can view my profile and they said couldn't see it even when they were sitting next to me and change the profile radius to the minimum. Also, for some reason I sometimes see the same profiles over and over again even when I recently swiped on them. This has lead me to lose all confidence in this app, I've never been banned on this app and have never broken any community guidelines (to my knowledge) so I'm not sure why I'm being penalized this way. If this can be resolved in any which way I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you

    My account was hacked on ********************** on and off within the past few weeks, without my consent or knowing, and unusual biography comments were put on it including seemingly to be personal information that was not even mine or at least jokes possibly alluding to giving that out. As a result, my account was banned from tinder unfairly when this was indeed not my doings or actions. My ex hacked my account and posted things on there without me knowing whatsoever. I am kindly requesting access to gain my account back so that I can change the password so that the hacker won't have it anymore, I am asking to be unbanned. This will allow me to follow tinders guidelines and ensure that I am respectful towards tinders rules. I did not do anything to disobey the standards of tinder. Please allow me to make this right.     I am rejecting this response because:  it is unlawful and immoral to deny me access to tinder because of another human being unlawfully accessing my account. On top of that, it was maliciously revealed to me by my ex the day I was banned that he would make sure to leave me alone this last time. This hacker who did this without my consent let me know he got me banned by alluding to placing a social media name on my account without even actually doing it. Technically, no terms of use were broken while the hacker used my account last time. He used freedom of speech to allude to social media but did not mention social media technically. What this means is that no one broke your terms of service, and therefore there should not be a ban. I was alerted that going forward the community of tinder will not be affected any longer because he will leave me alone now he says. Please help me. This is illegal and I did not do this. I even have a new separate address from the last one filed on here because *********************** was him not me. I am ********** way apt #** and that just goes to show that was not me. Please ban his account instead of mine?

    Tinder banned me from my account recently for no reason. I received suspicious texts from someone claiming to be Tinder recently right after I noticed I was banned. I contacted Tinder to let them know about the fraud/likelihood of unauthorized access to my account and provided screenshots. Tinder support refused to remove the ban despite the fact that my account was compromised and that whatever the hacker/ex did was not my doing, instead it was impersonation which is something that is against Tinder's guidelines. Tinder is supposed to follow their own guidelines by not allowing impersonation. I did not create this account in the first place, my ex did. I would like to take over it because he is impersonating me illegally. You have no reason to not help me, this is unlawful to not assist me. I would like to request that my account be re-instated since it was banned because of unauthorized user(s) hacking my account (not me). I would like to change my ex's password to this account he originally created to catfish others, which will prevent any subsequent hacks/unauthorized use so I can go back to using my account without others accessing it and violating terms of use impersonating me unlawfully against my will. You will protect your community by allowing me on Tinder because it will be me instead of this person who falsely made this account to not be appropriate. I am appropriate to the community and even live at a separate address than the one he wrote above. Please unban me, I have been taken advantage of. Please ban his account instead.

    I was banned from Tinder for absolutely no reason. I was asked to submit verification photos, which I did. The next day, my account was banned. I am the person in my photos and can verify it. I was also verified on the Tinder platform. All the app said was I had "violated the terms of service." I have used Tinder for many years with no issue and even paid for a subscription. I would really like my account back!

    I have been banned from tinder for no reason and i am not able to make new accounts. This is extremely frustrating as i have done nothing wrong.     Tinder has banned my account for no reason. I have not violated any of the terms and condition of tinder.     On 7/12 I was banned from Tinder, without any warning or explanation. I explained Id been dealing with a security breach in other apps and that Id like to know what the profile did to warrant being banned. It appeared as though someone created social media accounts as me and tried to have other passwords reset. I asked to know what offense had been committed so that I could determine the scope of my security breach - was it something I did or was this something completely out of my control? God forbid you want any evidence or any warning that a certain behavior could get you banned.

    I am rejecting this response because: I am not asking to be re-instated onto the platform.  I am asking for my own data.  Id like to know the ** address I allegedly used or if they can furnish me with my own device ID.  The issue is that Ive been the victim of identity theft, and Id like to know if Tinder was a part of the breach.  Their response assumes I want to be back on the platform.  I dont.  I dont want messages or any information about any other user.  I want my own information.  They have done nothing to indicate that I actually violated any terms because they cant tell me what the account allegedly did.  They collect ** addresses and device ID information.  My reputation has been smeared all over the internet and I have the right to know if this violation was connected to that.  Id like my own data.  Their verbose response did not address the issue I presented, only a boilerplate response.  Id like a unique response with my own data.

    I am writing to submit a formal complaint against Tinder, a subsidiary of the Match Group, regarding the unjustified ban of my Tinder account, and by extension Hinge account through the suite of Match Group companies. I was a regular Tinder Gold ****************** user for many years and have likely spent several hundred dollars on the app. I have always been a respectful user, never using profanity, sending sexually explicit images, or using racist/sexist terminology, etc. After reviewing the *** I cannot find a single one I've been in fault of. I have contacted Tinder support and was unable to get a reason for my ban, which occurred unprompted in early June 2023. The only thing I can think of was a persistent tech glitch I faced when opening the app. I believe beginning on Feb 19 (up to once a week) when I would open app, I would get the login screen as if I needed to make a fresh account, instead of my profile. When I went to login with my phone number which was connected to the existing account, it would take me to a fresh screen to create a new profile from scratch instead of my existing profile. I was unable to escape this screen and forced to create a new profile (which I simply did with one photo). I never used this account or swiped on it once. Then, when I logged out of this new account, I was returned to the log-in screen once more and able to sign in to my exiting account with my existing number. This occurred at least two dozen times and I assumed was just a technology glitch with the app. I checked for updates in the app store but was unable to find one. This is the only possible *** reason I can think of where a persistent tech glitch put me in a position where I had to make a secondary account and it was by no means my intention. I would like this to be looked into and for a fair response to be provided. Being a Gold member with a significant spend, I will have to move ahead with charging back my subscription through the bank if this is not resolved.
