So Tinder has banned me for violating it's terms of service, which after reviewing them,I have not done. I double checked my profile, I have nothing that is inappropriate or hurtful in my profile. They banned my account nearly immediately. I have never been outwardly mean or nasty to anyone of my matches in the past. If they were inappropriate I would tell them so. Which if they reported me, that's a false report on their end. Tinder has a poor algorithm for maintaining its guidelines and customer service has been no help. I created a profile with tinder earlier in 2022, and I have been casually using it on and off since it's creation. I filled out my profile and was verified, and I would swipe through sometimes but I never matched with anyone. Since I didn't see anyone I was interested in, I was not active on the app on a regular basis, and I went about two weeks or more without checking it. I tried to check it today, and it logged me out so I tried to log back in, and it gave me the message that I had been banned from tinder permanently. It didn't specify reasons but said it was probably because I violated community guidelines. hi, i am requesting to see if my account can be reinstated. i had been a faithful tinder user since 2018, had many good interactions from the app but had one traumatic and negative experience in 2021 (able to provide a link to what happened). i then noticed i was banned after trying to verify my account shortly after said experience, which i hope has nothing to do with the ban. however, i did have one account and believe it likely could have been flagged as spam from me deleting it and reinstalling it frequently after said incident. i enjoy using the app and would really like to continue. as mentioned, most interactions were postive experiences and exciting conversations.Business Response

I was a Platinum subscriber of Tinder and Hinge for approximately 6 years until my account was suddenly banned without proper justification or explanation. I have always been a respectful user, never using profanity, never sending sexually explicit photographs, never using racist terminology, etc. I have always closely followed the TOS.Multiple attempts have been made to contact both Hinge and Tinder regarding this issue via contacting support and even reaching out on ************ Platforms. Hinge got back to me saying that I was banned originating from Tinder and in order to reinstate my account I must appeal with Tinder. Dear Match.com / Better Business Bureau, My name is ***********************, a dentist practicing in ******* for the past 3 years. I have been a regular, abiding user of **********************, and more recently Hinge, since approximately 2016. Throughout my membership I've maintained both Gold and Platinum level subscriptions, spending approximately over $100 cumulatively. It was to my surprise that 13 months ago I became banned from both Tinder and Hinge without any reason. During my time spent on these apps I carried forward the same level of professionalism I do with my work: always respectful towards matches, never racist, respected boundaries, did not sexually solicit anyone, etc. I have made multiple attempts to reach out to the staff at Match.com, Hinge, and Tinder via support and even social media platforms. Both Match.com and Hinge responded to my message and explained that they themselves did not ban me, rather Tinder banned me and the ban extended across all Match.com platforms. I was advised that in order to use Hinge again I would need to appeal with Tinder. Tinder is the only company that did not respond to me and Match.com refuses to help me without first contacting Tinder. I have made over 30 support tickets to Tinder and have never received a response that was not automated. These automated responses did NOT take into account my plead or evidence. No one at Tinder/Match.com will look into my case or give me the time of day. As a long standing paying customer, who has always abided by the rules and TOS of these applications, this is outrageous. Tinder and Match.com have failed to respond to my support and explain to me the reason behind my ban after trying for 12 months to make contact. I was a paying member on pof and had an issue with a person whom I never met in person I blocked the account and reported his profile for accessing my personnel information. Next thing I know I am the one whose account is banned for harassment. I was the one who reported it first. I know have a legal investigation going against this person do to my Internet accounts have been compromised . I have not had a tinder, ok Cupid account or ********************** accounts and now that he compromised my email address I have lost many contacts I was speaking with. Hello. I was recently banned from Hinge within the past year, and Tinder within the past month. I indicated in my appeal that I had not violated the terms of service agreement while using the Hinge app, but it was promptly declined, nonetheless. My inquiry into what drove their decision was also left unanswered, which I strongly believe was unfounded. I have been using Tinder on and off for approximately 4 years, including at times a paying member, and have routinely stopped using it to focus on work, myself, or because I was in a relationship. I recently deleted my account to focus on work and when I went and recreated the account, it was not functioning properly. I would pay for boosts/gold etc and receive 0 likes within a few days. So after than I deleted the account for a while and when I went to sign up again I got a message saying I violated the terms. I was not offered any explanation and when I contacted support any further questions from me that I had were ignored. I have always used the platform in good faith and after reviewing both the terms of service and community guidelines in detail do not believe that I am in violation of any of Tinder's policies. I have had good experiences on Tinder including meeting some former partners, so I would like to be able to continue using it now that I am in a better place to start meeting people through apps such as this. At the very least I would like a detailed response of what policies I was in violation of, although I would prefer the ban to be lifted so that I can create another account. But after 2 days of having the account I have gotten 0 likes at all and of course 0 matches to follow. Ive been using tinder for years and even at times paying for a membership. But not I dont even want to pay for a membership if Im getting 0 likes. I used to get likes without a problem but all of a sudden out of nowhere Im getting literally 0.
