I signed with PLM on March 23, 2023. This was a course to learn how to have a successful Amazon business, they offer 6 months of intense training and coaching and after the 6 months, we will move to a group where we will have life access to training materials and one weekly coaching call( via Zoom). The cost of that was $9000.00, my husband and I did not have that kind of cashback then, but PLM has a lineup of leaders that will provide us regardless of our credit score with a loan to pay our tuition, we were not sure but they said that was a guarantee that before the 6 months were over we would be making enough money to pay off our loan. Not only that was not true but the training was not as intensive and getting in touch with the coaches for a 1-1 was almost impossible. Now PLM on September 15, ****, announced that they were bankrupt, and just like that, all the students ended up left without courses, coaching, and a loan to pay. I am now having a hard time with all situations because ******************** took all the students' money and bridged the contract. I witnessed how she was convincing people ( myself included) to join the next level of learning called boardroom which cost $27000.00 during a convention in ****** on September 7-9 a week before she announced she was in bankruptcy. This PLM scam and fraudulent took advantage our good faith.

In October of 2022, I paid into PLM $9,000 after being promised I would be earning a full-time income within six months by completing the course. They were so persistent on how they could get me a loan, and by the time the loan was done, I would have been able to re-coupe my course cost. This was misleading. When I was talking with a coach on a few products, the coach was very interested in an idea I had. Coincidentally a couple of weeks later that exact product idea was launched on Amazon? I have been lied to and misled. I want my full refund from PLM.

On February 17, 2023 I was convinced to enroll in Private Label Mastery courses. I was aggressively urged to get a loan for $9000 in order to pay for the courses. I was convinced by the company that I would be able to easily sell enough product in a short span to pay the loan off, which didn't happen. I was also promised a money bank guarantee if I wasn't able to launch my first product within the first 6 months. Recently the company announced it was going out of business and has cut off all forms of communications. Their resolution is to sign on with another new company made up of the same staff which I do not feel comfortable continuing business with the same people who lied to me. I am seeking a refund or that they pay the loan company so I don't have to pay for services that are no longer available to me.

To Whom It May ******** I enrolled in a Private Label Mastery program and was welcomed on Sep 2nd, 2022. I financed the course which was worth $7k and began paying automatically each month ($349.47). Things have seemed OK. I was able to attend a couple of the private coaching calls. As recently as 2-months ago, there seemed to be activity. However I logged into my courses this past week and could not access anything (the page just said 'No courses available'). I had the understanding that these courses were available for life. I tried calling their headquarters, only to receive a voice mail to reach out to Seller-Tactics. I did get an email from Seller-Tactics, albeit I am very confused because they are claiming not to have any ties to Private Label Mastery. If there is a way I can receive a refund of my payments; and to be allowed to stop paying the remaining amount financed without getting a hit, I would like to know how.Thank you for considering this.*******************************

    Hello BBB Team -

Thank you for the response. I forgot to mention a couple of things:

1// I personally did not receive any notification that PLM is closing their doors. The only communication I saw last week was a notification from ********************* (supposedly one of the coaches from PLM) taking over a new company called Seller Tactics. Seller Tactics is claiming to allow PLM enrollees to continue the coaching and education through their program for a mere $1 fee. Nevertheless, as I mentioned earlier, ***** also said that they are not affiliated with PLM.

I am genuinely confused and concerned about Seller Tactic's claim as well. I called PLM's number in ****** and was instructed to reach out to Seller Tactics via email. It sounds like they are affiliated after all. I am worried that this is going to continue happening, even with Seller Tactics.

2// I also talked to ************************* today to ask them if there is a way I could recoup my payments, or stop my payments since I could not access the courses. They told me that no notification has been received from PLM about bankruptcy, or closure. In that regard, I need to be continuing my payments to them since they already fronted the money over to PLM for my enrollment.

    Thank you!

    ******

The information provided to us at the outset regarding Private Label Mastery was deceptive. We were informed that, within six months, we would successfully launch a product and ultimately generate a minimum monthly income of $1000, which would assist in repaying the loan we had taken out to cover the course fee of $9,000. We were also guaranteed lifelong access to the course materials. However, the company has recently declared its intention to cease its services and expressed regret for having to make this decision. Private Label Mastery has misled us and bears responsibility for the financial losses we've incurred as a result of their failure to fulfill all aspects of our initial agreement.

I signed up for PLM in June of 2023. I had two phone calls with the recruiter/saleswoman. On the first call I was not given much information about PLM. I was asked numerous questions like I was interviewing for a job. During this call I demonstrated much skepticism. I was not given an exact price for the program on this call. She said it was upwards of $***** and due to my concern, I told the woman that i would need time to consider. On the second call I was told that this program would walk me through every step of launching my Amazon business and I could expect to make a passive ***** per month per product that I launched. By the end of the conversation, I had decided to move forward with the program. It was at this point that I was told the cost of the program which was $9,900. This was much more than the upwards of $***** than I was told. I immediately questioned this and showed concern. I was then informed of a financing option with a third party company. I was also told again that by the end of the six month program I would have launched atleast one product which would allow me to pay off the loan quickly. With my due diligence, I researched the program between those two calls because I wanted to be sure there was not any negative reviews or comments about the program before I invested upwards of $*****. I did not find anything which led me to believe that this company was a scam. I was optimistic about the program due to the many reassurances I was given. As of September, I have completed theee months of the program and was informed just last week that the company was closing its doors. I was told that the program itself would be six months but then I would have a lifetime of access to the community of coaches and students as well as the materials. I am now responsible for a monthly loan payment for the next several years but was not given what was guaranteed in my contract.

I signed up with PL Mastery in July 2022. I was promised 6 months gauranteed money back if I didnt bring in ***** to ****** within the 6 months of the course. I was also promised 1 on 1 coaching time Throughout the process. I was also promised that after the 6 months I would have acces to all of the course materials and coaching videos for life. They initially said I could complete the course in 45 Days. They told me the course was ****** but if I paid ***** that day I would get the other **** off. They convinced me to use their Lendor,, Lending Point for the Loan so I borrowed ***** for the course. As I got into the course I realized that I was never provided any contact numbers. Only a platform The Circle in which was the only way to speak to my Coach. Speaking to the coach was difficult because we only had 30 min each time and I had to "schedule" a call every time. This took days and days. (I was not told ahead of time of the coaching structure). So when I signed up I was pregnant and end of July I found out that the baby had a terninal Genetic Disease Trisomy 18 meaning that he would not live after birth. After this new I could not continue the course but I knew I had a loan so I couldnt just say no. my coach told me I could pause and pick up when I was ready to do so. I agreed to that. Unfortunately the baby passed away in November soit took some time for me to be ready to pick up my coaching and course. I finally started back up in mid April of this Year.. Presently I had just gotten qutes for products but i noticed a problem when my coach didnt show for the zoom call for Friday September22 at 6 pm. I emailed: deliverd sender not found.I l cannot get into to my circle profile to finish some module videos: diactivated. I have yet to be notified from anyonwe on what is going on. I cant complete the course so that I can launch my products, I cant finih my remaining course material that I was promised. I also still owe the loan. I need my money back. Help.

I signed up with Private Label Mastery (PLM) the first week of January, 2022. The course was expensive, so it was not a decision I took lightly, but I knew one of the coaches personally and thought I could trust her. I was told repeatedly by two student coaches, ***************************, and the enrollment coach that I would easily make back my investment, likely more, within the first 6 months. They all said that I should plan to invest $3,000 -$5,000 for test products and inventory to get up and running. This didn't include many other things we would need to buy that were not disclosed. The promises over and over again were the same. Follow our "proven" system (putting in ***** hours a week), and you will easily recoup your initial investment within 6 months. In fact, they told me I could expect to make $100,000 or more within the first year, as many of their students do. (Spoiler alert: Most of us are struggling and have still not recouped our initial investments.) I also saw the same claims being made in ******'s advertisements all over social media. I also watched lots of student success videos, which I realized later were all from new students who had not really gotten into the reality of the business, and many were paid for giving a review.I poured everything into this endeavor, putting in much more than ***** hours a week. I participated actively in every call, was extremely active in the student group, and worked the program exactly as it was laid out. Over a year and a half later, I have lost my initial investment and WAY more than that initial "$3,000-$5,000" they told me I would need to get started. I have nothing to show for my efforts and investments besides the knowledge that *************************** is a scam artist of epic proportions, and I got scammed big time!PLM grossly over charred, over promised, and way under delivered. In addition to all of the lies and deceit, ****** is extremely hostile towards anyone who dares to question the program or success rate.

I reached out to the contact number for *************************** that I saw on Instagram. I had a ***************** by the name of ******** assigned to me. She contacted me multiple times through calls and Zoom meetings. During these calls I was told of substantial profits and success, but the reality has been quite different. I was told that we would be making 5k to 10k per month after 6 months in the program. I was assured time and again that PLM would not let us fail. The program claims a money back guarantee. During our recruiting calls, I questioned the program's success rate extensively and there was always told of thousands upon thousands of dollars in profit, "hand holding" through learning the process, unlimited support and many learning tools. She said the only people that had not had the success were the ones that didn't follow the program and didn't put in any effort. She said as long as we followed the program and did our part of the work, we would be successful. In addition to the exorbitant program fee, we were also told we could get by with a start up cost of 2-3k. We have spent at minimum, triple this amount with no profit. Despite diligently following the course materials and putting so many hours and days of work into this program, I have not seen any significant returns on my investment. There was no mention ofadditional cost involved, especially the very complicated and expensive Pay Per Click advertising on Amazon. No mention of the cost of getting trademarked. Or, how much it would cost us to have someone develop professional images and content for our Amazon listings, and other additional costs I have not listed here.We were given a coach that did not follow through with support or leadership. Contact with him was minimal and oftentimes it took over a week to get a response. As a result of this course, I've been indebted over $20,000. I followed the program and put many hours of my time into trying to make it a success.

I was laid off from my job on February 2023, so I was desperate to look for anything so I can support my family, I am a single mother of two, I was on the video call from this lady, I told her about my problem and she guaranteed me that in 6 months I can make enough money to support my family, I told her that I don't have the money but she told me that they work with a bank who can loam me all the money and in 6 months I will have financial freedom and if not all the money will be refunded, she never mentioned that we have to pay for more fees from Amazon or there will be other services, I asked her if I will need more money in order to run my business and she told me that what I was paying will be all, I asked her about how I will handle the reviews for a new product that I will sell, she told me that they have a company that they will provide that and I dont have to worry about anything, which is a lie. I followed the courses and they provided a company where I could get the product from *****, this took forever so by the time I hit the 6 months I barely could send those to Amazon and I did not have more coaching calls services for like Marketing or anything else, ************ made a lot of false promises on the initial zoom call. I'm sure those calls are recorded and should be played back by side they are very deceitful. I would like a refund!
