This issue has been unresolved for four months. In the same condominium, only a small group of owners, including us, saw condo fees increase by 32% in 2024 and 18% in 2025, while other owners experienced increases of only 10% and 0.8%, respectively. This extreme disparity has placed an undue financial burden on us, and we feel we are being unfairly treated. We are aware of the reason for the fee increases but have been unable to receive effective communication from the management company. When we requested a transparent and detailed budget breakdown, the management company did not respond proactively but instead attempted to delay the matter until the homeowners committee meeting. However, they failed to notify the affected owners about the meeting, preventing us from expressing our concerns and defending our rights through the official *********** a result, we are now paying far higher condo fees than we should, yet we still have not received a proper explanation or solution. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable.Associa Home Office - Dallas Response

Your review is almost perfect! I made a few minor adjustments for grammar and clarity. Here's the edited version:Review: Horrible Experience with The Prescott Companies - Towed My Car Without WarningI had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with The Prescott Companies that I feel needs to be shared. My car was towed without any posted signs or warning, and when I reached out to the *** for assistance, their customer service was downright awful.First of all, I parked my car with the permit in view of parking enforcement, in what I believed to be a safe and allowed spot, only to discover later that it had been towed. The worst part? There were no visible signs posted anywhere around the area indicating that parking was restricted or that towing was a possibility. I had no idea that parking there was an issue. When I contacted the *** to understand why my car was towed and to express my frustration, I was met with complete indifference. I was then hung up on by ***** ******** when I asked to speak to his manager. When I finally managed to get in touch with someone, they gave me a vague, unhelpful answer and showed no empathy or sense of urgency.I was out a significant amount of money for the towing fees. What was supposed to be a simple and straightforward matter turned into a stressful and expensive ordealone that could have easily been avoided if they had posted proper signage or communicated better with residents. The lack of transparency and customer care is inexcusable, and it's clear that this *** doesn't prioritize its residents' needs. I would strongly advise anyone considering living here to think twice, especially if you value your car and want a neighborhood that actually values clear communication and customer service. This experience has left a bad taste, and I am seriously considering filing a formal complaint about their actions.Associa Home Office - Dallas Response

The Prescott Companies management team has demonstrated a shocking level of incompetence. They have consistently failed to address critical issues within our complex, respond to emails, or provide accurate financial information. Due to my experience with them, I will be pursuing action in small claims court and strongly urge anyone seeking a management company to avoid this one at all costs. If zero stars were an option, thats exactly what I would give them.Associa Home Office - Dallas Response

This is a HORRIBLE management company! The developers, ******* ** (who are also non-responsive), hired them to oversee our townhome community. However, they have yet to transfer any power to us so that we can formalize our ********** It's been over two years! We couldn't even get them to be responsive to our snow preparations and removal needs--this is not just a matter of convenience but also a safety issue! I have seen one of our community members' kids slip (hard!) on the ice in our back alley (at least three times in his attempt to get up).Associa Home Office - Dallas Response

*************************** of ************** is absolutely horrendous when it comes to property management. We were in need of a good property management company to help manage the ****************** (115 units) downtown and were promised excellent service with an "All hands on deck" mentality to get through the transition of companies and then they assured us we would be under great managment care once we were completely setup in ***** days. Eight months in and we had to fire them for mismanagement, lack of transparency, lack of reports, not paying vendors on time, not disclosing the movement of funds, no response to tenants, and the list goes on and on. I can not for the life of me fathom how they continue to operate. Most likely because HOAs are primarily comprised of volunteers and to file a complaint, lawsuit or even criminal negligence would take a great deal of time and money. Quite honestly after their horrendouse management we no longer have the funds to pursue a criminal lawsuit but we are taking steps in that direction. When we left we discovered that they did not pay a majority of our vendors for the past 3-4 months and we were stuck with huge late fees and interest charges even though we had over six figures in our account balances. When diving into the numbers we discovered they would pay a vendor with their credit card and not use our funds then charge us the interest as well as a 20% charge (that as they claim was written in the contract) again when funds were available. We asked for reimbursement and they refused to correct it and said it was a legitatmate charge. The entire time we would ask questions about the financials and we were told they handle that at the home office and we would have to call ****************************************** was NO HELP AT ALL. Our "property manager" Crisiti ******* did her best but was given no training and the Management team and owner ******** *** should be be ashamed of the way they deceive and steal from their customers!Associa Home Office - Dallas Response

I would give negative stars if I could. This is our first year with Associa here. When the first bill for dues came, no one knew how their systems worked. The bill stated the dues would be late on 7/31/24. I went to pay the dues online a few days prior to that date; however, that's when I learned that they wanted $14 in "convenience fees" for the privilege of giving them my money. So instead, I sent a check. Which means the dues were late, yes, but not terribly. And if their printed bill was fully transparent about all of the fees, then it wouldn't have been an issue. So, I get hit with a late fee. They call them "handling fees." Here's the kicker: They don't tell you about fees. It's apparently up to you to know this through osmosis or mind reading. Fast forward to 11/24. Now I get a notice in the mail with a listing of all these fees that I had no clue about until right that moment. Fees, with interest charges, AND a fee to send me a certified letter, which I never received. Oh, and this lovely message included threats to have a lien placed on my home. ****. First notice I get and it includes threats.I disputed this with my HOA's board. They agreed to have all of my fees waived. I have it all in writing. They instructed Associa's manager, **** ********, to waive the fees. He didn't do it. Then I had to poke at him again because on Xmas Eve I received yet another nasty-gram from them, still threatening to place a lien on my home, along with even more fees tacked on. The board AGAIN instructed them to remove my fees. He again said he would. So what did he do? He had a $4.48 charge removed. So I poked AGAIN. This time he said that he doesn't know why it's not working. "Give it time." That was this morning. This afternoon, there is a brand-new $65 charge on my account. For "FILE CREDIT BUREAU." So not only have they NOT waived my fees as per the board's instructions but they're charging me for filing with credit bureaus so they can ruin my credit.Associa Home Office - Dallas Response

Horrible! Weve been in and now past closing date, because Associa has been dragging their feet, in information for the buyers lender. Ive done numerous emails from direct contact, to the upper leadership locally without any response . Its adding additional financial costs to both the buyers and us the sellers. Were simply needing a confirmation that our townhome wood rot, gutter replacement and painting was completed with the monies from a $1.3M loan made by the managing association. Its physically notable, but the lenders require this from the association, which had been requested o er 30 days ago. Theres many negative reviews and truly deeply disappointed in their responsiveness to this matter, which seems simple enough to addressAssocia Home Office - Dallas Response

Absolutely horrible.. They are non existent when it comes to getting things done in the neighborhood. Do not return emails, homeowners in our neighborhood have had to consult with attorneys to get a plan of action due to the absolute neglect and conditions of our neighborhood due to the lack of management.Associa Home Office - Dallas Response

This association management company has been an unprofessional, difficult organizaiton to work with. They not only do not follow through on necessary items, but also lacks communication, and has misrepresented me as a homeowner. They have repeated denied me communication access to the board of directors. I moved into my new home at the end of May of 2022. In June, I filled out the information sheet required about myself, my property, my vehicles, and bank information to set up my *** ****. I received notification that I was set up on the app they used and I thought everything was processed. In May 2023 I receive a letter in the mail from *** Law, that I was sent to collections to collect the *** ****. I called both the ********* firm immediately to rectify the situation. I have filed a complaint against the law firm as well. They stated they sent me 3 letters from Feb to ***** stating that my dues were not collected. I received none of them and they have no proof of mailing them. I shared my electronic copies of all communications, including the voided check I sent to them in June of 2022. I also did not receive any emails or notifications on the app regarding the *** ****. I received other type of communications from the *** during this time by both email and the app. The law firm was difficult to work with also misrepresenting the situation. I reached out to the *** again since the law firm did not respond to communications and I sent a check for the dues. They returned it to me stating I had to work through the lawyers. During this time, the law firm continued to charge me legal fees with no communication or action on their part. I had to retain an attorney to deal with the situation which is still unresolved. It is causing undue harm and stress, as well as costing me legal fees.Associa Home Office - Dallas Response

I am the owner of my apartment unit. Another unit above me caused a plumbing issue resulting in black mold in my unit as well as others. Was initially told everything would be taken care of. Was told I'd have a place to stay as my unit would not be livable. Now I am told to go find a place to stay on my own. For how long? I don't know. I was told I have to pay myself. Even with insurance, I just don't have the money. So I will probably be homeless.***** **** is the president of Associa ******. She is in charge of the managers. She does not respond to emails or phone calls. This is unacceptable.Associa Home Office - Dallas Response
