      I was due a security deposit of 995 dollars after i move out of ****************************************** on July 30, 2024. The house was in clean condition with normal wear that happens for the 11 months I was there. Now a new company manages the place or same company different name and the claim the house was a wreck and fixed things that I have no control over and is charging me for repairs, that I didn't cause or was an issue before I moved in. now I owe them money, plus they haven't paid of the utilities for months and now the company that they was using is claiming I owe them money. this company **** me and is trying not to pay me, and its probably not the first time they have done this.

      Property maintenance of **************************************************************************. I contact this company to remove tree limbs which are on their property that are hanging on the electrical lines my house. I was told to tell the renters to put in a request. The renters don't even mow the lawn so my upkeep is no concern. Resolution is not acceptable. The tree is old. I had to contact them twice to get this ridiculous answer.

      June 27, 2024 I received a utility statement due July 1st plus rent ($1510) billing for: water sewer trash ************* electric 11/2023-1/2024 and gas 11/2023-1/2024 bringing the total for utilities $853.67 due in 5 days. I contacted and spoke with ******** **** in which she stated conservice has done this to a few of their Ohio residents and she would assist with late fees if I could pay rent and at least half utilities by July 20 but would have to catch up with remaining utilities plus anything they charge for August by end of August I get that was doable however July 19th I receive my statement due for August 1 $656.70. I knew at that moment there was no way I could pay so I contacted ******** again letting her know I would need to request rental assistance through ***************, for assistance with Franklin County my understanding you have to be behind on rent so I did not pay until after I was approved for the assistance. I was approved for $2500 August 23, 2024. In between this time on August 1 I was told that the property management company was switching over to MYND on August 8 and by now I had received over $700 in late fees (Streetlane charges $100 on the 5th and $15 a day) was told I can not get the late fees waived because now I am with a new management company. I also had received another utility statement due September 1 around $800 (never seen the actual statement but the ledger for MYND shows due for September 1..) and now another utility bill due for October 1 $853.33 I asked for time to help pay everything they refused and said I will be getting charged late fees starting October 4 and eviction filing will begin as early as the day they send me late payment notice. All I have asked for was to hold on late fees and to refund the late fees Ive been charged, to give me time to catch up and thats not available. If the utility company is at fault and Streetlane had no knowledge of the bills, who has been paying the utilities?

      Back in June 2021 we rented from ******* rental managers in October 2021 our property rental company changed to Streetlane homes and we were there till August ****** . Ever since then it was nothing but problems with the company . Never could get them on the phone or email only . Getting maintenance out was a disaster . In July 2024 they told us the owner no longer wanted to rent and we could cut the lease short and wouldnt have a charge for it . When we moved out we had the house clean . Had contacted the county for the bulk pick up . We get the paper that shows charges and we had a 1200$ trash out and 525$ for blinds . There were no blinds in that house when we moved we have before and after pictures of moving in and out. Weve disputed them charges and were told we would hear back and we have yet to hear back from them. Beware of this company they are awful .

      Update for Streetlane rental companies after a month of trying to contact and the last email sent to them was if I dont hear back from someone legal action will be taken. Only then did they respond to fix the situation . I still dont recommend this rental company

      I lived in the same unit under their management for 3 years, which was pretty awful, but since I am a property manager myself, I understand the day to day issues and that things happen, but this place is so horribly ran, I can no longer keep to myself now that they are withholding $300 from my deposit for unclear charges. I have requested an update 6 times via email over the past 3 weeks. I received one response last week saying 'Sorry the person who can help you is out, they will be in touch'. That was 2 weeks after my first email. I have still not received a response, this person obviously has no manager or is not the only person who can help me, they are ignoring me thinking I will stop. I have been more than patient and went through all proper channels. Since I have still not been helped, I plan to seek legal action against the company and shed light on a lot of other shady things Streetlane is doing besides keeping their tenants money. Do not rent with them please, I would hate to see that happen to someone else who needs that money.

      I rented from Streetlane for a year. At the start of my renewal Streetlane transferred management to another company. The new management company is now stating that I have an outstanding balance from Streetlane. It seems as though Streetlane has been billing and collecting for utilities and not paying. I have had to pay my local utility company in addition to what Streetlane has billed for. I cannot even access the Streetlane portal to provide evidence that all my financial responsibilities have been fulfilled. This is absolutely unacceptable. My next course of action is legal action.

      Streetlane Homes continues to say they have mailed my deposit but it has been over a month since I moved out from their homes and I still have not received my deposit back and they continue to just say its in the mail.

      Hello, I moved into a Magnolia Townhome 11/2024 and it is managed by Streetlane homes. When we moved in we actually had to clean due to so much dust all over the floors walls ect...It took a while due to the thickness of dust. We have several work orders opened and they just close them. The last thing that led me to write this is 07/26/24 I am working from home and 11:10am my electricity cut off. I basically started calling every number I could find and ***** helped me. I pay my bill with rent monthly. I was on the phone ALL DAY NO HELP. I was literally helpless. I could not even do my job. come to find out someone had my service DISCONNECTED for move out from *******. Still no help and it was not until 6pm that night it just pops back on and still NO CALL. No one has come to fix my issues and bugs are coming in due to the issues. SEARIOUSLY these folks don't care. Beware of you go to lease from this company. No contact information that will actually get you ANYWHERE.

      Every month I have to reach out to them to have my billing corrected. A few days prior to the first, they will add charges to your account that says trash and it will be from over 5 months ago, then on or after the first, they will add another charge to the account that says waste management trash and it has the prior month days on it. This has happen with my billing every month and no one seems to know whats going on. I submitted a work order back in march to have my refrigerator fixed, they send someone out the first time to look at it, said that was going to get the part for it and then I never here from anyone about it. Then I contacted them again, they stated the work order was closed and acted like they didnt see anything in the system that showed i had submitted a work order. they sent someone again to look it ,They came and looked at it, like they had already done, but never fixed the issue or contacted me about getting it resolved. That was at the beginning of the month and I have yet to hear anything in regards to that. Poor management , i have tried to work with them , but they are all over the place a never seem to keep a record of what is going on.

      My boyfriend and I rented a house through Streetlane Homes June 2023 - June 2024. We were not able to renew our lease because the owner of the house decided to part ways with Streetlane and sell the house. We paid a security deposit in the amount of $1,870 when we moved in. The Franklin County portfolio manager, ***************************, is attempting to scam us out of getting anything back and claiming normal wear and tear as serious damage. This was the worst experience we have ever had with a management company. After reading hundreds of ****** reviews this seems to be what this company does unfortunately. They double charge you for utilities and leave you with nothing when you move out and you can never get a response via e-mail or phone call.
