Hello, I moved into a Magnolia Townhome 11/2024 and it is managed by Streetlane homes. When we moved in we actually had to clean due to so much dust all over the floors walls ect...It took a while due to the thickness of dust. We have several work orders opened and they just close them. The last thing that led me to write this is 07/26/24 I am working from home and 11:10am my electricity cut off. I basically started calling every number I could find and ***** helped me. I pay my bill with rent monthly. I was on the phone ALL DAY NO HELP. I was literally helpless. I could not even do my job. come to find out someone had my service DISCONNECTED for move out from *******. Still no help and it was not until 6pm that night it just pops back on and still NO CALL. No one has come to fix my issues and bugs are coming in due to the issues. SEARIOUSLY these folks don't care. Beware of you go to lease from this company. No contact information that will actually get you ANYWHERE.

Every month I have to reach out to them to have my billing corrected. A few days prior to the first, they will add charges to your account that says trash and it will be from over 5 months ago, then on or after the first, they will add another charge to the account that says waste management trash and it has the prior month days on it. This has happen with my billing every month and no one seems to know whats going on. I submitted a work order back in march to have my refrigerator fixed, they send someone out the first time to look at it, said that was going to get the part for it and then I never here from anyone about it. Then I contacted them again, they stated the work order was closed and acted like they didnt see anything in the system that showed i had submitted a work order. they sent someone again to look it ,They came and looked at it, like they had already done, but never fixed the issue or contacted me about getting it resolved. That was at the beginning of the month and I have yet to hear anything in regards to that. Poor management , i have tried to work with them , but they are all over the place a never seem to keep a record of what is going on.

My boyfriend and I rented a house through Streetlane Homes June 2023 - June 2024. We were not able to renew our lease because the owner of the house decided to part ways with Streetlane and sell the house. We paid a security deposit in the amount of $1,870 when we moved in. The Franklin County portfolio manager, ***************************, is attempting to scam us out of getting anything back and claiming normal wear and tear as serious damage. This was the worst experience we have ever had with a management company. After reading hundreds of ****** reviews this seems to be what this company does unfortunately. They double charge you for utilities and leave you with nothing when you move out and you can never get a response via e-mail or phone call.

Streetlanes has been a nightmare since the start, but even more so from the moment we moved out of one of their rental properties. I can forgive the slow response time or poor condition of the property upon move-in, but what I cannot forgive is charging us an additional 1k above our security deposit and sending us to collections TWO WEEKS after receiving the letter. We have tried countless times to get in contact with someone in Streetlanes but have had no luck -- they have disconnected phone numbers we have been provided, hung up on us, or claimed they would call us back with no response. The damage report was extremely minimal with few details (for example, they cited "appliance repair" without stating which appliance was repair), yet claimed over 3k in damages to a property that we left in arguably great condition. There was nominal wear-and-tear, but nothing egregious as we are experienced renters who have learned to care for a landlord property's. At first, all we wanted were details and additional photos showing the damages they claimed we caused. We received no response.Today I received an email from a debt collection agency on the behalf of Streetlanes. They seemed to have wiped their hands clean of us and passed us to a third party that refuses to elaborate "to protect their client". I knew the reviews paint Streetlane in a bad light, but we tried to give them a chance. That was a mistake. They are an embarrassing excuse for a rental company. If I do not receive an adequate response that includes a direct line or personal contact information for a customer service representative (NOT a call center), I will be filing in small claims court.

Applied for House on June 8, 2024 and was approved for the house June 12, 2024 received emails phone calls, etc. everything seem legit everything seem to be lining up and then boom out of nowhere. The fraudulent activities begin after I sent the move-in deposit which was, 1599 Of my hard earned money. After signing my lease, I was notified that the house will be taken off the market however, they have failed to do so every time I call, I can never be transferred to the leasing coordinator Whom I talk to prior to all this chaos. I have yet to receive a phone call back or no one has even given me any updates nor emails about the house I applied for. I keep getting the runaround. No ones really trying to rectify the problem and now looks like Ive been scammed. Something just wasnt sitting right so Because I drive trucks For a living, I wasnt able to swing by the property so I had my girlfriend do it and come to find out that property already has a family that moved in the day after I put my security deposit down for the same house. My Girlfriend politely ask the residence about the property such as when they moved in and things of that nature and It was Complete shock to find out that the family moved in the day before I sent my deposit . Ive been duped out of my money. I will be taking legal matters into My own hands because Im 100% certain that Im not the only person that this company Has gotten over on and it just really upsets me more than anything its definitely a complete setback For me! I have the receipts. I have the email and I really just wanna get down to the bottom of this. Actually I really just want my money back and they can go about their way because this is completely wrong on every level and I just hate that I fell victim to the scam. By the way, it is June 19, 2024 a whole family lives there and the property is still on the market How does that even works? Im not looking for any bogus apology. I just want my money back plain and simple.

I moved into my apartment June 14th , 2024 When i noticed that my refrigerator had not been replace like I asked prior into me moving into my apartment when I toured the place I noticed that the refrigerator was not cooling and was making a very loud and obnoxious noise . Before I did my application I spoke with a leasing coordinator by the name of ******************************* who in fact told me that they will replace the refrigerator before my move in date ***** 14,2024) . Once my move in day came around ***** when i noticed none of my requests had been granted . They then sent me a maintenance request list to then send in any changes that need to be done . Shortly after moving in as i was cleaning i noticed a big crack on the living room window shield . and my washer was making. loud noise when i checked to see if it worked . As a new resident I feel as if they should have did an inspection prior to me moving in therefore I wouldnt have to keep putting in multiple requests for something to be fixed my full lease term . This has by fr been the worst experience. *** also was willing to settle for another unit in the same complex that had been renovated and more update but was denied that request .

My roommate and I moved out of our leased home on 10/18/23 and left the home in exceptional shape. The property was found to be in acceptable state no deductions were made from our safety deposit. The check with our deposit was mailed to out on 10/26/23 to our old address. Asked to cancel check on 11/01/23 or send to a forwarding address. Roommate checked if the check was at the old address on 11/01/23. On 11/01/23 was told to reach out if not received by 11/26/23. Checked multiple time between that period but the check turned out to be stolen and was cashed on 11/29/23 by someone who had stolen the check. We then reached out to Streetlane for the money, but they have not responded.

This issue was handled by the Portfolio Manager, Legal Team, and Accounts Payable. The Security Deposit check was issued on 10/26/23 and sent to ********************************************************** APT 1068 ****, **. ****** confirmed on 11/03/23 that this was the correct address for forwarding the check, and it was deposited on 11/06/23. I have attached a copy of the deposited check for your records. It is important to continue working with your bank and the authorities as this a fraudulent situation.

I am rejecting this response because: The check was never mailed to the forwarding address instead it was sent to the address where we no longer resided as shown on the check attached.

My bank never saw the check you wrote and sent to the incorrect address. It looks like there was some sort of mix up on your end that caused you to send the check to an address we no longer resided in. It would make more sense that Streetlane works with their bank since the money that was stolen was exchanged between their bank and the person who stole the check. I'm hoping that future thefts can be prevented by depositing checks digitally similar to the way that we paid our rent another method would be for the bank that accepted the deposit to confirm the signatures. There are plenty of ways to improve this process I hope Streetlane can implement something in the future to prevent this from reoccurring.

      Thank you
