There are not enough characters for a full review. We were told that in building a custom home with ******************* that we would have full autonomy and final say on all features of the home. That was not the case and many actions were taken without our input or were changed from what we originally planned. Persisting issues that the builder did not fix:Interior pain was chipping in <1 year and would result in texture coming off when attempted to patch. Plumbing fixtures were not installed properly and leak out of the sink/tub in some cases. Grout and caulk in all bathrooms chipped and peeled in <1 year. Tile work was not truly finished; edges were sanded to remove barcodes but left exposed. The concrete floor was not properly finished and had the stain coming off when furniture was placed on it as well as multiple aesthetic defects. Windows were aluminum and did not open and close properly. Corners of walls, including baseboards, were cracking apart in <1 year. Exterior door handles dropped and did not hold up to use in <1 year. The address plaque is placed where it cannot be seen on approach to the property, making deliveries difficult. No RESCheck was performed even though it is required by the state. These issues seem small, but are concerning as other issues were found upon inspection and only fixed due to code violations. However, the worst part of the experience was when the builder attempted to back out of the sale when we questioned if the punch list was actually complete. We ended up signing for the home the next day, with a notary sent to our home because we were ill as well, out of fear for losing the property we had already been paying on. Overall, the house is generally structurally sound, but the experience was so painful and the subcontractors used produced such subpar attention to detail that I will never recommend *******************.
