    They take your money and dont give you your purchase. Ordered on 12/17/24 an Xbox , 1-3 day delivery . Delivery was suppose to be 12/22 . The item never left facility. Had no problem taking my money .i called 5x , emailed 5x and no response all representatives lie and do not get back to you . One rep told me my refund was on 12/17. When I called 12/22 to say it never left them . If you call from a number not in their system they answer and say your refund is on its way . This is fraud and they need to be accountable .

    I only wish I had come to the BBB website before I ordered anything from Game Stop. It would have saved me a big headache. I ordered a switch game for my grandson for Christmas on 12/7/24. I arrived by **** (12/14/24) in a broken in half brown envelope. The game case was crushed and broken so I did not even take it out of the envelope. I ask Game Stop for a return authorization and shipped it back that day. I kept asking the customer service when the replacement would be shipped. They told me they could not ship another one out until the broken on arrived at their facility. It got so late that on the Dec 20th I canceled my order. Come to find out they received the broken game on the Dec. 17th. I called customer service (has to be in another country because you cannot understand half of what they say) on 12/23/24 and was told that my order for still waiting to be filled. I told her I canceled the order. Order was never canceled so she canceled in order for me to ge my refund. I got an email that same day saying the order was canceled and I would not be getting a refund becaus the order was never shipped. Now I am starting over with these incompetent people still trying to ge a refund. It is 12/31/24 and still no refund. They told me to call my credit card company and get them to refund me to start a dispute process. Since they want me to I am not. They are horrible, run by a bunch of idiots and should not be allowed to do business in *****************! I am going to write a bad review everyday and maybe someone smarter than me will listen to what people are saying before they place an order with them. They are not the only company that sells games. *******, ******, ******************, and many more.

    I order my daughter a ps5 on December ******* for them to lied and not send the system and Im still waiting for them to refund me my money back I call that 800 number too many times and everyone I talk to keep saying wait for three to five business days for my refund this and that and still nothing has came to my account I f I could give this company no stars I will the worse company ever I will never deal with game stop again

    I purchased a game marked used, I didn't like it so I returned it. When I returned it they told me it was incorrectly marked used and they couldn't refund my *****. May not seem like a lo, but when you're on Social Security it is. No more gamestop for me.

    Here is what transpired on that night October 15, 2024. We visited the store and the gentleman operating the *****, **. store was ****. He was really nice, full of information and willing to share. We pointed out that we were looking for the PS5 and wanted to know which one he would recommend either the digital one or the one with DVD rom. He gave us the his pitch and we said ok, we will take one of the one that come with the game (bundle). When he looked up, he noticed that it was marked incorrectly and he said, that the prices were wrong and quickly changed them. We were shocked because he immediately started pricing it at the new price. We were like no, however, as we move back we notice that there was a PS5 with *** bundle and informed him that we wanted that one. We took the box and he looked at the price $449.99 and said again that the price was wrong. He started again for the third time the process of changing the price in front of us to $499.99. We asked for it to be honored and he said no, but he would speak to the manager. He called her gave her some of the story and she stood by his refusal. We were very upset because it was the 3rd PS5 that **** changed the pricing in front of us and did not honor the price.The Manager should have automatically honored the mistake, at the very least as a for of good gesture for identifying the errors. Further, **** should have never changed the prices in front of us or any customer. It was not that we did anything wrong, we willingly pointed out the mistake and accepted it being a one of and then the second but when the third one happened, now its basically a different situation.We just wanted it to be honored, give us the price difference and let us be, there were no arguments, no back and forth. All we said was, that such was not right, not fair and not ethical. **** did not reply.Oh, we did get the opportunity to snap a picture prior to **** changing the prices.We have communicated with about 5 CS yet nothing.

    If I could give a negative star I would. I ordered a PS5 for my son on Black Friday at a store near my home. But I only did this after I placed the order 3 ***** ******. They charged me 3 times. No one at the 800 number could help me AT ALL. Frustrated I went into the store & seamlessly ordered the PS5 premium along with a headset & paid for a 24 month of premium membership. They promised it would reach him by his birthday on **********. When it arrived in the 4th, it was a used PS5 with no bid & dusty & dinged up. The headset was for a PS1-4. Severely angry I called the 800 number where they apologized & sent me a return slip with the promise they would ship a NEW PS5 out immediately & even promised overnight delivery. Today is December 19 & there has been no shipment, no one knows why & I will never EVER use GameStop ever again because of this debacle. I call everyday & everyday its the same answer.sorry we dont have an update for you. I spent almost $1000 with a dying company when I couldve spent my hard earned cash at ******* or ******, but wanted to help ****************************** dead company. Shame on you GameStop, Do t order online or in store unless youre leaving with the merchandise in your hand, even then.spend your money with a company that treats you like a valued customer

    I made a purchase Dec 4th for a PlayStation 5. On Dec 8th all movement stopped for almost two weeks. After four days I called GameStop. They told me I needed to wait 6 days for it to be considered lost and to get a refund. I called in the 6th day and was assured I was being refunded. I was told I had to wait another 7 days for my refund. After a week I had no refund and called again. I was told my refund was denied and my package was arriving that day. Dec 17th! I had already repurchased from another company a received my item in three days. Every person I spoke to on the phone told me something different and assured me I would receive my refund. I denied the package yesterday. I called the company back as they asked me too. I also asked for a supervisor to call me. I did not get a either call back yesterday. I got another notification they it was being shipped back out today. My sons birthday is *** and we all know Christmas is next week and GameStop refuses to refund me my money. Their refund policy states everything I have gone through to get a refund. Yet no one will call me back about my denied package and my refund status. This now I cant finish Christmas shopping for my children. They have had my money for almost a month. I have worked in customer service my whole life. It took 4 days to get a response from an email and I never got another response back. If my emails werent returned the same day I would have lost my job. The employees on the phone are very hard to understand and say what you want to get you off the phone. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. *** also have never had anyone company hold my money for almost a MONTH. And its the holidays and on top of that my sons birthday. I will never ever purchase from GameStop online and I dont advise that anyone else does! It has caused so much stress and time.

    ************************ has absolutely horrible customer service. The worst I have ever dealt with. I ordered a product from ************************** on 11/30/24. On 12/6/24 it said the product was to be delivered.On 12/7/24 it said there was a delay with the delivery. On 12/12/24 I called my local post office and was told that the package was lost and would not be delivered. My GameStop tracking number reflected the case was opened and closed on 12/12/24 by the *********** and that there was an exception with my order. I have called GameStop customer service four times, starting on 12/12/24 and most recently on 12/17/24 and they have refused to issue a replacement, even though the tracking shows the package as lost on 12/12/24. I was charged for this purchase on 12/2/24, and have yet to receive the product, any update, or any GameStop initiated communication. Their customer service is obviously outsourced, and it is impossible to get in touch with anyone local who has any idea of whats going on. Ive asked twice to speak to a customer service supervisor and have been refused both times. I was told one will call me back, and they did not. I keep getting the runaround. At this point, it feels like they are scamming me. My sons Christmas may be ruined due to GameStops egregiously terrible customer service. For a company this size, there is absolutely no excuse for this type of misconduct and customer neglect. They shouldnt be allowed to be in business!

    I went to the **************** tonight. My warranty is ALWAYS on my box which was the XBX Wireless Controller Pulse RED that was priced at $64.99 on the box. *****, the employee, went and grabbed the same one on the wall and was trying to do an even exchange since it was covered under warranty. ***** said it was not allowing him to do so but was telling him to pick out a "PRE-OWNED" controller instead. I told him that if I paid for a NEW controller with WARRANTY, if it needs to be replaced for a new controller! We just went to this location last week and exchanged his headset covered under warranty with no problem.I told ***** to call his Manager, *****, that apparently was on vacation or off. I spoke to him explaining that I should be able to exchange the controller we are returning covered under warranty, with a new one that ***** already went and got already. ***** explained that the system tells them that if they have pre-owned controllers in stock, we have to take one of them. I told ***** that the "pre-owned" controllers did not even come in RED. ***** said "Oh okay gotcha!" He then told ***** to take him off speaker and told him to tell me that I can take one of the pre-owned or wait until he gets in tomorrow and he will take care of me and override/switch me out to the red new one that I have requested. I told ***** to ask ***** and see if I can take one of the pre-owned controllers tonight so my son (who was in the store with me) can play his game tonight and bring it back tomorrow and still exchange it out. ***** said no! It is not fair for us to wait until he gets in because ***** does not know how to exchange the controller or have ***** walk him through it on the phone. Due to ******* only option of exchanging thecontroller out fora USED one or waiting for my son to play his game tomorrow AFTER ***** gets in, I went on and took the "pre-owned" blue controller so my son can play his game for a little while tonight.
