1 starIt would have been nice if I could have purchased the vehicle that I really wanted at the price that was actually advertised! This was not the case with this dealership. What led us to the dealership was the fair price advertised. What led us out of the dealership was the last minute, undisclosed, add-on fee of $1000 plus other unsavory tactics. We were told that we had to pay the $1000 Certified Pre-Owned inspection fee (***). So here was an advertised Certified Pre-Owned inspected vehicle advertised which looked good at that price. The Certified Pre-Owned inspection checklist provided to us when we were actually ready to purchase had missing information. Nothing entered for "date inspected" as well as no information on who inspected it, nor a signature identifying who inspected it. Actually, it looked more like they quickly prepared the checklist before we arrived for the appointment even though the car had been sitting at their dealership for a month. Also, we told the sales person twice (once on the phone and then at the office) that we arranged our own financing at our bank. The first printed offer presented to us was for their own financing option, to which we said no. Salesperson disappears into the back office to consult with the manager. The second printed offer presented to us was their warranty offer, to which we said no. Salesperson disappears into the back office to consult with the manager yet again. The third printed offer presented to us was the $1000 *** fee which interestingly enough, was not on the first two offers!? To which we said no again. Salesperson disappears into the back office yet again with the manager. When we followed him into the manager's office and said "what's going on?". A team sitting around desks defensively indicated that if we did not pay the *** fee, we could not buy the car. Wow! We walked in, offered to pay their advertised price and we were declined the purchase opportunity. Who does that?Review fromSh S

1 starThis dealership advertises prices of used vehicles on the internet without any indication that additional dealer fees will be added to the price of the vehicle which are not optional. I feel like this is deceptive advertising. The low price is just a ploy to get you to the dealership. I went to this dealership to buy this vehicle with cash, I test drove the vehicle and requested a trade in value for my vehicle. I drove 30 miles from my home to get to the dealership based on the advertised price. The dealership gave me a low ball value for my vehicle and proceeded to tell me that additional fees are required to buy the vehicle. $995.00 for vehicle etching, $1500.00 for Scratch and dent and key replacement warranty, and $1500.00 for extended warranty. I told my salesman that I did not want any of these dealer add-ons and he told me that they were not optional. This makes the true price of the vehicle $29,991.00. I believe this practice is false advertising and is a violation of the deceptive trade practices act. Please take measures to ensure those businesses fully disclose required dealer add ons when advertising vehicle prices on the internet.Review fromShannon C

This dealership is the reason why a lot of people are wary about buying vehicles from corporations. They have non existent management. They engage in underhanded, shady and at times downright fraudulent financing practices, not to mention that once you purchase a vehicle from them, good luck ever getting a hold of anyone. My husband purchased a truck in January of this year. When he left, he was not given a copy of anything he signed, no record of the electronic signatures, all he had was the word of the employees that everything was as they discussed. It took 3 months before we were able to get copies of the paperwork. Come to find out, they listed three different sale prices of the vehicle, each one larger than the next on various forms. They added items to the breakdown that my husband specifically did not want. They also charged him for a maintenance contract on a used vehicle. When all said and done, the numbers did not match anywhere along the line. When brought to the dealerships attention, the true run around began. Everyone would agree that something looked wrong and we were assured numerous times that it was being looked into. We never could get them to admit to any wrong doing in writing. Countless calls, emails, even visits to the dealership finally resulted in them adjusting the amount with the finance company (them paying towards the principal) and cancelling the contracts and putting that amount back to the principal as well. We should have looked here right away. When we realized that it wasn't just a mistake, since that would have been slightly easier to swallow, we researched them. Come to find out there are all these reviews and complaints. All having a similar story, fraudulent unethical business practices. It makes you wonder how many people didn't notice they got ripped off or ones that just gave up? How many times did they get away with this? How is it possible that they are still allowed to be in business? We will see about that.Greenville Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM

Mrs. ****,
I first would like to start with the cancellations. That has been taken care and a check was sent to your lender. Your remaining balance should reflect that. There is nothing fraudulent about the way we conduct business. The reason we have not admitted to any wrong doing is the fact that we have done NOTHING wrong. Products were offered that your husband had the opportunity to decline. At the time over purchase he chose not to. Everything was there in writing when he signed the LEGAL documents. What has happened since time of signing is known as "buyers remorse" we see this occasionally which is why we have the option to cancel the products and services after your purchase if you deem them no longer needed. As far as not getting copies of your paperwork I do apologize for that he should have received paper or digital copies right then. In the future I would suggest not leaving ANY place of business without them. Personally I NEVER would leave a place of business without fully reading and understanding what I was purchasing and having my contracts in hand. In regards to "they listed three different sale prices of the vehicle, each one larger than the next on various forms" Please allow me explain...
You have the agreed upon Sales Price: (Customer and Sales Negotiate to this number)
You next have your total Financed amount (This number includes sales price, sales tax, and warranties extended service plans etc...)
The final number, also the largest... Total Sum of Payments: ( This number is the financed amount with all interest paid over the life of the loan). Total amount you will pay out if you make all scheduled minimum payments.
If you have further questions or need any other clarification on what you purchased please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Sir,
I would like to address your response. Firstly, let me start by pointing out that if your dealership did "NOTHING" wrong, then why did you send payments totalling $10,907.01? That seems like an awful lot of money for the warranty, maintenance contract and gap insurance. Secondly, as far as the "buyers remorse" comment goes. That is not the case here. My husband asked for the paperwork. Multiple times. As he was picking up the vehicle the day following the purchase he was told they would have it for him then. They did not. He never regretted buying the truck for the price he thought he was getting it for. Which brings me to the most pertinent part of your response. Sir, I know how financing works. I know there is a starting price, taxes, fees, etc before that becomes the amount financed. And I understand very clearly how interest works. The numbers on page 1 of the Retail Installment Sales Contract (form 533-ARB-ea) are not the ones I referred to. Please look on the AUL Gap Insurance form, Next to amount financed is an MSRP number of $33,993.00. This is price #1, and the lowest. Price number 2 comes the AUL Power train Warranty Document. That agreement lists the sale price of this vehicle as $35,098.61. Lastly price number 3 I referred to isn't actually listed unless you backtrack. Please look at page 2 of the Sales Contract. Item #1, there is a sales tax amount listed as $2523.85. And a Cash price of $42,905.49. If we subtract the sales tax from that we come to the no listed starting number for this worksheet of $40,381.61. That is sales price number 3. How and why that number replaced the other 2 is the crux of this matter. The rest of the math works, those numbers match. However at no point is there documentation that shows the jump from $35,098.61, which your dealership entered as the sales price of the vehicle, to $40,381.61. With all due respect sir, something went amiss in these numbers. Which if you take the time to look over them you will see that. I will leave you and everyone else with my opening remark, if there was no wrongdoing and everything was aboveboard and legit, did you pay out such a large sum of money? I will let you do the math on the amount of the warranty, gap insurance and service contract, they are all listed on page 2 of the Sales Contract.
