    I recently switched power/electricity companies. I selected Chariot energy because they had the best rates and also they made it so easy to switch. This was such an easy and efficient process. It had always been a nerve-racking event for me before. They made it so easy for me. Thank you chariot energy.

    Chariot Energy is the electric company I use. I am not happy with the way they handle payments. Twice now they have said I did not pay and would shut off service. I sent them a check each time. The first time I paid again online only to find out they did get the check. So I ended paying twice. I sent them a check on January 11 2025 Again they said my account is past due. I tried to talk to customer service rep but got no help. I decided to change my electric company. I have never had this problem before. I always pay my bills on time.

    I used a rate finder tool to pick Chariot Energy, and their website was easy to navigate to finish the transaction. All communications since then have been concise and straightforward. Choosing energy providers is difficult enough, so I appreciate the ease of completing the transaction.

    Very quick and easy to sign up and move my service without interruptions. Provided a much better deal but what I liked most was the transparency of the pricing and breakdown of delivery charges. Compared to what I had where delivery charges were changed once again at the start of the year.

    I just signed up with Chariot Energy, and I’m very happy so far! The process was easy, and I love that I’m getting 100% solar energy without needing panels. Their rates are competitive, and I appreciate the fixed-rate plan, which helps with budgeting. The app is user-friendly, making it simple to track usage and manage my account. Highly recommend Chariot Energy for affordable, green energy in Texas!

    Consumer beware. They will tell you one thing on the phone and then screw you on your electric bill. I called and asked what "net-exporter" meant and I was told it was only for customers that produce 4 to 5 times what they use. Based on this, I signed up for a 3 year RISE plan. Then I get a letter a year later, labeling me as a "net-exporter" and that they want to decrease by buyback rate from $.10/kwh to $.029/kwh. I call and ask if I can stay with my current contract ($.10/kwh solar buyback), and their rep said I could but that I wouldn't be able to roll over monthly credits. I was ok with that, but my very next bill has my buyback rate at the ERCOT average rate. After many emails back and forth, they still won't take ownership of what their customer representatives told me on the phone. I feel like this is as close to a bait-and-switch scenario as you can get. Please don't waste your time on this business. And don't fall for their marketing. Simplicity, transparency and integrity? Not at this company.
