Unfortunately we are not able to proceed fully with every single case that we sign. Once we sign a case we will often times facilitate medical treatment if necessary or requested, which is what happened in this case. As for receipt of the drop letter it was mailed from our office on the 19th and then on the 29th we received that letter returned as undeliverable, at that point it was emailed to Ms. *****. Our policy is to mail the physical copy to the client to let them know that the case has been dropped. Email addresses are not always identifiable as to who the recipient is, which is why we mail it with the clients name on it to the address that we were given by the client at the time of signing up. As for the reason this case was dropped; upon further investigation of the claims we came to the opinion that this case has questions about liability on the part of the of the defendant for the incident. We are not saying that she does not have a claim or a case, but merely that we are not going to proceed with this case (which is stated in our drop letter which Ms. ***** received).  Ms. ***** went to one visit at the doctor before the firm decided to drop the case so we have not received any of the documents or records connected to that visit prior to dropping the client. As for the question on whether or not has she called the firm requesting a call immediately. This happened on December 11th when Ms. ***** called from an emergency facility that she took herself to and and she was crying and very emotional. Carley ****** an attorney with our firm spoke with her for a considerable amount of time and was able to help her calm down which was when she requested that she go to a mental psychiatrist and let us know that she was on anxiety medication. We work on all of the cases at Daspit Law Firm in teams, so at any point there are multiple different people that may speak to clients or address issues and concerns. The remaining questions she has in the complaint about ******* ***** *********** about future treatment, etc. are now moot as we no longer represent her and do not know what was recommended if anything.

If we can further assist in any manner please do not hesitate to reach out to Myself and Daspit Law Firm.

My case was taken by Daspit Law form in October of 2019. Mr. James took ove the case in early 2020. It has been close 90 days since payment was issued on this case(07/12/2022). I received an email from the insurance company showing that payment had been issued. Two weeks ago(09/22/2022) I contacted Mr. James who stated that payment would be issued in two weeks. The payment has not been received. I was told in December of 2021 that settlement has been reached and payment should be received by the first of the year 2022. I have been contacting Mr James since February regarding the status of the case. When I finally got ahold of him he states that it’s an attorney ad litem Case which he has never worked before. I then tried unsuccessfully to contact my attorney from March until June. I finally spoke with Ms M******* who was able to assist with scheduling a court date in June for my minor Daughter where documents were provided to myself (by her attorney) as well as the court showing that settlements had been reached for my medical bills as well as the minor’s bills. I was told in July, August and September that my medical bills were being negotiated and that information provided to the court was just to hurry my Daughter’s case along. Mr James states that he has no recollection of being present in court for my Daughter’s hearing(where he arrived late and unprepared). I feel ignoring and disregarded.

We have been clients on a personal injury case for over a year. Our attorney, Steven, was wonderful. In March he advised us that he was finalizing a settlement with the insurer in our case. This was the last communication that we received. I later found out that our attorney had left this firm; we were not advised. I called and left multiple messages since March. There was never any response. Around 2 months ago, I sent messages via their website and I received a voice mail from John and another partner apologizing. I called them both back and could never get through to them. In the last 48 hours I advised them that i will be filing complaints and leaving honest reviews. Yesterday, I was told that my attorney would call me first thing in the morning; did not happen. I called back at 445pm and managed to get transferred to the attorney who put me on hold then dropped my call. I called back, was told he would ring me in 5-10 minutes. And now it is the next day. While the odd attorney might be excellent, the law firm has demonstrably and objectively acted unethically in my case. I just need my case to be finalized and to receive an update (it's been over 5 months since an). update
