Wasted my time. Made an appointment with Jackson ******* sales associate to see a car in stock. It took me over an hour to get there just to find out the salesman I made an appointment with was too busy and the car I wanted to buy was sold. Very inconsiderate and deceptive sales tactics. I used to be a customer here. I will make it known to everyone not to come here.

I wish I had read these reviews before I went to this dealership. We have great credit and were told that our rate would be over 15 precent interest. And then they told us we had to buy their gap insurance as well as their made up fake paint protection and carpet cleaning with a total of $2,295 added. So went to mercedes dealership and got much better car at very low rate. DO NOT GO TO JOHN EAGLE ACURA.

Dishonest, disrespectful, terrible customer service, unwilling to do anything to “earn” the customer’s business! Do yourselves a favor and don’t ever do business with this dealership!!!! The only reason I am giving ANY star is because 1 is the bare minimum requirement. I was trying to help my brother find a reliable used vehicle at an honest price. We did our research ahead of time and found a Ford Explorer within our price range that we wanted to test drive at John Eagle Acura. When the salesman, Jackson brought the vehicle around, it was in poor condition and did not accurately reflect what was advertised online. We test drove it and asked that they fix the broken mirror on the passenger side with the blinker bulb exposed. Jackson said the vehicle was “as is” and they would not fix this. It was obvious that we weren’t his desired clientele because we weren’t purchasing a $60k vehicle and he did not want to deal with us. The price listed on **** ****** was $11,483 and when he came back with the #’s, it was $15,412. I explained this to the salesman and he was very smug with me, saying that the dealership automatically tacks on additional fees for the extensive inspection on the vehicle. I was a GM at a car dealership years ago and can tell you this is not the way honest dealerships do business. The inspection is included in the price of any vehicle! They added several hidden fees to the price of the vehicle and the kid got irritated when I asked him to itemize these for me. He couldn’t explain the near $4k markup on the vehicle and for good reason. We were treated terribly with absolutely no respect and left immediately. This was very shameful and this 24 year old kid treated us like trash. He’s been taught how to do business and not in a good way from the people running this place. We found a vehicle the same day from a different dealership and my brother is happy.

Purchased a brand new 2020 ILX at this location on 06/05/2020. The salesman was professional. What was unprofessional was the finance department, as he simple ran my credit over multiple times and continuously offered me to sign the most expensive and highest interest rate that they had to offer. Once I declined he threatened that this was going to be the biggest mistake I had ever done, simply for disagreeing and denying his high interest rate offers. If you’re looking to purchase at this location just beware of this.

I have been servicing at this store for over 15 years, but this will be my first time actually buying a car from them. The last 4 purchases have made at a different store. This time, I was in for an oil change, and looked on the showroom and saw a car I liked, and walked out with a brand new RDX off the showroom. Their sales staff has completely changed, Jessica was extremely nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. She helped me working with her manager and got me a great deal. Spoke to her manager, he was very professional, even though he could come out to be I had go see him in his office, he was at work just day after surgery. That’s a commitment. Only thing was when I was going to finance, I had to wait for about an hr, not sure what took the wait, when I was writing a check. But Jessica has kept me informed all the way through. Once I got to finance, things went very smooth! Josh was the finance manager that signed my paper work. Very professional, positive attitude. Overall it was a great experience, I would definitely be coming back for my next vehicle.

Do not purchase a vehicle from John Eagle Acura. They are unprofessional, dishonest and self-serving. They ran a bait and switch on us, claiming at the last second that they would not accept the VIP check issued by our credit union. These checks have been used for years and are standard industry practice. They just don't want to wait for the check to clear. Its a matter of GREED. In the time it took me to obtain another check or fund the loan in another way, they turned around and sold the vehicle from under us. Lithia Motors and John Eagle Acura should be ashamed of the way they run their business and how they treat their customers. Maybe their actions are just how the industry is in our post-Covid world. That still doesn't make it right. I'm sure an enterprising consumer reporter could make quite the headlines with this story. I'm excited to develop a relationship with another dealership that values my business more than they do. Karma is what they say it is. The market will change. There will come a day when they will be begging for customers like me. When that happens, my entire family will be driving vehicles sold to us by one of their competitors. Don't do business with John Eagle Acura.

I bought a 2013 honda accord from this location, 2 days later found out it was leaking. Took it to them and they charged me for the repair, 2 days later its still leaking. So i took it to a trusted mechanic near me and they showed me where they didnt even fix the problem on my vehicle, and they found another leak that john eagle didnt tell me about. I then call them to speak to a service manager and the manager kept hanging up on me.

I bought a car that was in transit to their location, and they acted in bad faith and sold my vehicle from under me and then told me that they would have the exact car that I had purchased sometime in January 2023. I came in with my Acura TLX to trade in and a pre-approved loan from my bank to purchase a vehicle. They did not like that I already had my loan and pressured me for hours to finance through them, but I declined their offer. After hours of dealing with them, they finally emailed my banker the buyer's order, in which my banker sent them a drafting letter, which is more binding than a preapproval certificate. The dealership was still not satisfied with the drafting letter and still demanded the preapproval certificate, which my banker sent them after all. While I was there, managers kept coming to me and telling me that they were not going to release the vehicle to me whenever it got delivered because they were going to need the bank check or a cashier's check, and I totally understood. I told my banker the situation, and even he understood. After being there for more than 8 hours, I finally signed all the final documents for the vehicle that was in transit and for my trade-in, and they told me that they would release the vehicle once they received the check. This was before the weekend of Christmas, which meant the banks were closed until 12/27/22. On Monday, my salesperson contacted me and told me that the car I had purchased on Thursday had been sold by their manager. Like, how is that even possible when I had already purchased it? But he reassured me that the exact vehicle was in transit and would be delivered sometime between 12/26-12/28. On 12/27/22, I followed up with him so that I could go take my check for the vehicle like they demanded, and my salesperson advised that there was no car in transit and that I would have to wait until January to get a car. It's not about the car anymore, it's about the INTEGRITY of the business. BUYERS BEWARE. LIARS!

Hello Elizabeth, We appreciate the opportunity to earn your business and understand you are frustrated. However, there are a few things I would like to clarify regarding your detailed experience. Vehicles are not considered sold until we are funded in full. As you stated, this was made clear to you by our team as was the fact that we will not hold any unsold vehicles at this time due to extremely limited supply. That another buyer purchased the vehicle you were interested in is unfortunate, but you were made aware of the possibility of this occurrence ahead of time. That you were informed a comparable vehicle would be delivered during the time you stated was due to a regrettable error where we were provided incorrect estimates for time of arrival. I again apologize for the frustration you were caused by this. Though you have declined our previous offers to accommodate you for the mistake, including working with you on a better deal for the same vehicle when it arrives, I am more than happy to continue our discussion if you would like. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime. Thank you, Charles ***** General Sales Manager 713-929-1962

The worst experience ever. 4.5 hours later after picking out the car in 30 minutes. I felt dirty and taken advantage of when I left. No integrity, coercion and lies!!!! Buyers beware!!!! Unfortunately there is no consumer protection once the contract is signed. I was told that I had to finance thru American Honda Credit because it was a new vehicle. They quoted me 7.44% interest and no other lenders were offered. I have excellent credit and called a credit union the following day and got 4.74%. Still high but not for todays economy. 3% difference is huge!!! We all know they make money on finance. I was also told I had to finance and could not come to the table with a full cash/check payment. I was also told I could not pay off the vehicle for 4 months. All lies. I was coerced into the deal under false pretense!!!! I wouldn't even give 1 star but had to. I will never, never, never purchase another vehicle from this dealership. The District/area manager agreed this information was inacurrate and he would "look into it" Needless to say he has not followed up. I'm sure his bonus is based on how many people finance can screw!!
