1 starAfter going to this shop, my car made a noise that it did not have before arriving. I have done business with this shop and my previous visits have made me lose confidence and trust. I am more than disappointed in Joe Myers Toyota Service. When I went for a maintenance check last Friday, I approved for a tire alignment and a tire rotation only. We had to call for an update and the salesman said there were issues with the suspension. They heard a noise and had it checked out and said it was the struts (after visiting another shop, it was NOT the struts). I had actually mentioned this noise to them on two separate occasions. They did not fix this issue. They dismissed me multiple times. When I retrieved my vehicle, they did NOT go into details with any issues. This noise has only occurred AFTER getting it maintenance there. Before paying, I had informed the employee that I mentioned the noise previously on my last two visits, he told me "You only once came here once for the noise". I told him that I mentioned it twice, and while we were looking at the notes, it said that in June I mentioned the noise, and in October I was at the shop SPECIFICALLY for the noise. Their response was that the issue was probably not addressed because "it's based on who your technician was" which made Toyota Joe Myer Service lose immense credibility. I am currently having to take my car to a different shop because I refuse to bring it back to this place. The fact that they allowed me to leave with the noise and a (now) ticking noise that I have not had previously was so disappointing and upsetting. Talking to the manager did not help either because he honestly could not care less, which is fine because I was upset and already did not plan on doing business here anymore. I spoke with someone to bring awareness to the situation because we depend on these people to make our cars safe to drive or at least properly inform us of the right care to take so that we fix our vehicles as needed.Review fromMike M

1 starTook advantage of my mother’s age and sold her a vehicle she could not afford. She is 82 years old with memory and various health issues. She is on a fixed income from Social Security. They took advantage by giving her $100 for her trade in vehicle and selling her additional products that were not needed. She called back two days later after realizing what she had done but the dealer says the only thing they could do was sell her a less expensive car which she cannot afford either. I went to talk to the manager and explain the mistake and even offered to pay money to compensate for the time but he said there was nothing he could do. This is shameful to not look at a person’s ability to afford the product given her age.Review fromAlfredo D

Joe Myers Toyota dealer cashed a check for a test drive without my prior consent even when the car was not ready and still belonged to another owner with his belongings inside, when I returned to claim the check for 500 dollars they told me they could no longer give it back to me, this is unheard of, robbery and punishable by law!. I hope that this situation is resolved as professionalsJoe Myers Toyota, Inc.

My Understanding is you left money down on a vehicle to prepurchase it before it arrived. Something many customers are doing now with limited product in the market available. especially New Toyotas. apologize if the car was not in retail condition when you saw it. Please let me know if your money has been refunded to date. my email is [email protected] thanksReview fromAbel N

My vehicle came to end of its 25K/2 year manufacturers warranty for buying new Toyotas, i brought it in for the 30K mile service. I told the advisor that I have the pre paid maintenance with toyota. We went back and forth for a bit then I thought maybe I had a misunderstanding of what the prepaid maintenance plan covered after he pulled up some self made ***** Spreadsheet that showed that it only covers the oil change and tire rotation. So I agreed to pay for the filter replacement. After the advisor told me that I would only have to pay for the filters and NOT for the labor of the replacement. OK service done. Paid the $620 invoice.Next day, I called toyota directly with the number on my contract and confirmed that the premium prepaid maintenance plan DOES include the replacement of the air filters and that toyota would pay the dealership the cost of those. Then I proceeded to look at the invoice, and I WAS charged labor for the replacement of the air filters. after seeing that I was charged for something that i confirmed multiple times that I would NOT be charged for. That just showed me that Joe Myers is in the business of SCAMMING their customers since they know that most people do not bother to go through the invoice line by line, and if they did, they probably would not notice a $6 charge here and a $20 charge there on a $700 invoice!!!!! Now, i called and made a fuss and was refunded the cost of the filter replacement. Would Joe Myers toyota call me, admit to the mistake and refunded me without me figuring it out myself. NOPE. They are scamming you, charging you for something that they should not be charging you for and then proceeding to charge toyota for something that they already charged YOU for!! Also, i have a dash cam. The technician completely unplugged it and pulled out the wiring and left it as is when i got back into the car. There was ABSOLUTELY ZERO REASON OR NEED to do that. I have been a loyal Joe Myers for years, well no longer!Joe Myers Toyota, Inc.

I had a very poor experience with Joe Myers Toyota. Isaac ******* was the salesperson handling my intended purchase of a vehicle. He assured me that the vehicle was specifically reserved for me. We had discussed further reserving it with a deposit which I was more than willing to do but he said I didn’t need it, that it was already mine. Apparently, his management sold the vehicle overnight even though I had “reserved” it. Whether that’s the true story or not, at the minimum it shows poor management and customer service. Just to be clear, I’m not talking about this transaction taking place over a week or two because of delay on my part, but only a few days. Ultimately, I was set to purchase something from this location which they could’ve possibly redeemed, but their process is shoddy as I didn’t even get a call back from management.Joe Myers Toyota, Inc.

Not very happy about the whole experience. Still waiting on the second key for our vehicle we bought from them. It was a 4 hour event and we already had made up our minds. Part of the problem was when my husband went to see it originally, they brought him a sheet with a price of $69K and he offered them $66K for drive out with the contingency that his wife had to drive and approve. What we discovered later that night was that truck was on their internet site for $59K. By the next morning, it was off the site completely but still listed on a third party site for $57K. We made copies of them all. We went back 2 days later and made a better deal, which they were willing to make, especially after we brought to their attention the huge discrepancy in their numbers and their published numbers. We walked out with a pretty good deal. Then we went to the finance guy. Suffice it to say.....it was a nightmare. He had to run the paper work 3 times because he got the numbers wrong, the "electronic" date was incorrect, we bought the extended warranty but because we don't live close to them, we have to pay a deductible to get his vehicle seen to, (it was reduced to $25.00, after some negotiating, again) my husband has special plates for a Medal he received while in the Air Force. He pays a fee directly to the State and therefore the "license plate" fee at the dealer is less, so spoken by the license plate bureau of Texas. They didn't want to honor it. We had to negotiate that too. They also don't give Veteran's discounts, which most dealerships do. As we were finishing up the paperwork, I noticed they tacked on $500.00 for something but I will tell you, by that time......I wanted OUT! NOW, we are trying to get a second key for the vehicle and it's been a week. The guy helping us has now been saying, "who told you there was a second key?" I believe it was you!!!! I wouldn't send anyone I care about over there after this!Joe Myers Toyota, Inc.

Lisa, I apologize for your bad experience. I see this was a Used Vehicle. We don't guarantee a 2nd key on used vehicles unless they are Certified Pre Owned. please let me know if this is the case and I will order you a key. currently key fobs are hard to come by due to constraints on parts. most New Toyotas are only coming with 1 key fob now. do you recall who did your paprework in finance? thanks for your input here.Review fromKabrina J.

I am disappointed in my recent service experience at Joe Myers. During a recent service visit, I expressed to the Service Advisor that may battery would need to a check, maybe charged since I left my car door open overnight the night before coming in. I even described the problem I have when cranking the vehicle up. The Advisor insisted that the battery would recharge itself. I took him for what he said but also know that during service, a multi point inspection is completed. But a week later, I was back at the dealership and now being told my battery is bad. Here are my problems with this- 1. When I brought the vehicle in the first time, it should have been noticed the hesitation my car had when starting when they took my vehicle back for service and returned it from service 2. My request to check my battery initially was ignored. My receipt shows a multi point inspection was completed but I doubt it because I didn't receive a printout. Secondly, I know it wasn't because how is a problem shown a week later in an inspection that wasn't shown before. The problem was there and I pointed it out. 3. The service advisor was so busy trying to push a premium service on me when what he should have been paying attention to was the fact that I indicated battery issues and he should have insured that was given attention. After my car not starting for two days straight, I had to revisit the dealership and the only reason I got a full battery inspection done is because I specifically brought it in for that after calling the dealership with the complaint. The dealership needs to do a better job of paying attention to a customer before an issue becomes a full blown problem which costs the customer their time. Stop pushing vehicles through a quick service and not performing multi point inspections just because someone is getting their basic service done at the specified miles. If I return to this dealership, I will make sure technicians do their job, asking for my report.Joe Myers Toyota, Inc.

I did reach out to Jose ***** as I received a message from him. I heard back from him within a couple days and simply reiterated my complaint when he spoke. There wasn't a true remedy that could resolve the situation because my time had already been lost. But Mr. ***** did apologize for the time wasted and ensured that I would be taken care of better upon my next visit for service, as well as an offer to make up for the inconveniences I experienced.Review fromSteven H

My poor wife went in for an oil and tire service. She asked them how long it would take, and they assured her less than an hour and fifteen minutes. The time passed, and she asked how much longer. They had the nerve to tell my wife, "They had to wait for the oil to cool down." Four hours later, she was charged over $700 for two tires and an oil change! From the start she was lied to and taken advantage of, imo. Do not go there, they take advantage of people who are not knowledgeable about automobiles.Joe Myers Toyota, Inc.
