2 starsThe act as if you the customer is a crook. They said only payment is a cashier check. I said no problem I could bring them a cashier check the next day. Salesman O insisted on seeing the front and the back of the cashier check before I got there to make sure it was valid. Then salesman O lied abought when the truck would be ready. The truck needed new tires and an inspection sticker so the salesman "O" said they would put the truck at the top of the list to get fixed the next morning asap and it would be ready when I brought my cashier check. The next day I got multiple text from salesman O wanting to know when I would be there. I said I would be there by 4.30. We drive 125 miles to pick up the truck before 5pm, only to have the salesman O say the truck is not ready when we got there. Salesman O could have been honest and tell us up front that the truck will not be ready before 6pm but he did not. So we drove as fast as we could to get there before 5pm only to sit and wait on the truck for hour and 45 minutes.Review fromAnthony G

5 starsOne of the only dealerships that did not try to take advantage of me by over-pricing or up-selling. Communication was straight forward. Enjoying my new used car.Review fromDetroit

1 starBought an $80,000 vehicle from them in August 2024. I received a temporary tag that expired on August 17, 2024. On September 9th & 10, 2004 and I tried multiple ways to contact someone at the dealership to get an extended tag but no luck. On September 11, 2024 at 06:00 I have to drive to work on an expired tag. None of the “6 people” I spoke to on September 9th & 10th were able to help me get an extended tag. Once you buy a car from AutoNation, there’s no need for them to answer any of your concerns afterwards.Review fromChristy M

1 starThe buying experience overall was not bad. Managers and everyone was eager to help with the sale. The problem was the vehicle was not serviced yet and was going to take time which i was fine with, I was told it would be ready Wednesday and i bought it on a Saturday. When i called Wednesday i was told it isn't ready and will be ready friday. Come friday the salesman said it would be ready by 5. I showed up at 7 giving them more time to finish. i left at 9 pm. The car was supposed to have a full tank of gas and they only put in half. They had 5 days to have it ready and still failed to do that. Just this past saturday 9/31/2023 one of my tires was running low on air so i took it to get repaired and once the studs were pulled from the wheel there were 3 of 5 that had bad threads on the hub. The studs were damaged and cross threaded. The front wheel was missing a bolt where they worked on and replaced the brake rotors also. I wish i could post pictures of how terrible they looked. I called that same day and i was told that the managers were too busy to talk to me. No one could help me. Monday i chatted online with the reps since i cant get a hold of anyone over the phone and was told someone will contact me. It has been 3 days and still no phone call. I also had to call in about my license plates since again they never reached out. Then once i chatted with someone magically they had them and sent them. This place is only interested in the sale and nothing else. Once you buy the car thats it. Managers were all over talking with me before i bought the car but missing for any help afterwards. I doubt they will honor the 4k mile warranty that I was told by Efrain and the sales team that comes standard with all cars. For them to do so called multipoint inspection on the cars they sell seems iffy and their repair department forgetting to put crucial wheel studs to hold the wheels on is also a big failure.Review fromOMAR A

1 starI had a service appointment on 08/31 for my F150 which I couldn't start. With my confirmed appointment, I had towed it to the service station and was told to keep it at their collision center across the street. Later I was informed there will be a $75 charge to tow it to the service station from the collision center, just from across the street? My truck has been there since, 8 days now, and I was informed it will be fixed 3 days ago, then today. I called the service advisor, Randy Linney, and left him several messages but had no answer. I visited there personally in order to talk to a manager but they had all left. I checked the collision center lot and my truck was sitting there since 9 days ago, at the same location I dropped it. Still don't know when it will be fixed?Review fromashton a

1 starThere should be a "0" Class. I purchased a vehicle (2/17/2023) from AutoNation. AutoNation claimed that the vehicle was certified and in excellent condition. On 2/27/2023, the vehicle was released to me. On my way home, the vehicle began missing and shaking. I attempted to call AutoNation; however, no one answered, so I emailed AutoNation to inform them of the trouble. I emailed the dealership on the night of 2/27/2023. I started calling on 2/28/2023 but could not reach anyone, so I emailed my salesman. AutoNation asked me to bring the vehicle to their dealership. The vehicle stopped on the freeway and had to be towed. I was informed that the vehicle needed to go to a Chevrolet repair shop. AutoNation refused to pay for the repair. Even though my vehicle allegedly passed AutoNation’s 125 Point Inspection Checklist, AutoNation claims I purchased an “As-is” vehicle. AutoNation is refusing to honor its very own contract. Money-Back Guarantee “Our 1Price Pre-Owned Vehicles are backed by a 5-day, 250-mile Money-Back Guarantee. If you decide to return your vehicle, we’ll refund your money. No questions asked.” I was unable to contact AutoNation’s sales for “5” days. AutoNation’s claim that its 125-point inspection aims to thoroughly inspect and evaluate the condition of a vehicle before it is sold as a certified pre-owned vehicle is an outright and total lie. AutoNation should say, “This is the snare we use to hook suckers” (I want to say, like you). This dealership is a deceitful, dishonest misleading business. It really should be investigated for its many illegal practices because it is operated on customer deception. the agency having jurisdiction should at least poll AutoNation's customers for injuries inflicted by AutoNation. I really wish there was a way for us, the misused and abused AutoNation customers, to come together and form a "Class Action Body in order to seek retribution for our injuries".Review fromJohn W

1 starIf I could give this business zero stars I would. My truck has been at AutoNation Ford Katy for 73 days and counting for an axle and leaf spring replacement. I’ve been given the run around since day one. I was told on May 1st, almost a month after I had dropped it off the leaf spring was to be completed that day. It wasn’t done until the beginning of June. I’m still waiting for the axle to be completed. I have reached out to the General Manager twice requesting he returns my call to explain my situation, and he never returned either of my calls. I highly recommend against bringing your vehicle to AutoNation Ford Katy for any type of service.Review fromjeremy p

1 starTERRIBLE! I purchased a vehicle from auto nation in Katy. it took a week to get the finance documentation right so i finally financed it through my own bank. Went the vehicle was delivered i was not at home, the delivery personnel left it and left very quickly. When i got home the next day and started the vehicle, the AC did not work. I contacted the sales person and was advised to take it into my local Ford dealership to have it diagnosed and to "let them know" (to which i have all of these directions in writing from the dealership personnel ElMasri H******** The repairs needed to the non operating AC (which my local Ford dealership told me has been non working for quite some time) came out to 3400.00. after sending that price to auto nation i was disregarded for the most part until i spoke with Steve M****** who told me they were not going to pay to have it fixed, of course i have all of these conversations in either text, email or recorded line form and i will be contacting my layers about auto Nation Katy because i was told in writing the vehicle was fully operational and had no issues.Review fromRENEE S.

1 starWell if no stars was an option I would use it. Ordered a Ford Maverick for my daughter in Dec 2021. After 13 months we get a call that our vehicle is in and ready for pick up. Keep in mind we had moved to another state and had a current vehicle to try and sell. Our salesman Christian has been nothing but helpful this past 13 months. He had been communicating with my via phone and text this whole time. He and I were working out the details of this purchase for my daughters vehicle. Well on day 4 after the initial text form Christian, Justin ******, a sales manager called my husband and asked if we had a deal cause he wasn't paying anymore inventory tax on this vehicle. My husband clearly told him Christian need to speak to me as we had been working out the details. The day day I reached out to Christian to let him know we had transport set up and a buyer for my daughters current vehicle. Christian proceeds to tell me that Justin sold my daughters care we waiting 13 months for. How or why he is still employed by AutoNation is beyond comprehension. I filed a complaint with FORD corporate office and they said I should hear from the dealership in 2 days with a resolution. Here we are 8 days later and no call. DO NOT trust the manager Justin ****** at this dealership. He will sell your ordered vehicle out from underneath you to make a quick buck.
