Regarding doing business with GGray Services, as the saying goes, "buyer beware"! We contracted GGray Services to build our custom house in January of 2021 with the expectation the house was to be completed within 12 months. The house was not completed until June of 2022, 5 months later that anticipated. Of course covid was responsible for part of the delay, but most of it was due to lag times in scheduling work. This however is the least of our issues with GGray Services. While the house overall is up to expectations, many crucial elements fall far short of anything that could be considered quality. Many of the door frames are off and the doors do not close properly. There are footprints from a sub-contractor in our entryway concrete that still, after 3 months from closing, remain unrepaired. The custom cabinets while well constructed were shoddily painted, with the colors that should match not matching. In many areas the cabinets are also chipped and further defaced by over-spraying and paint drippings from careless trim painters. There's a hole in the concrete floor of the guest bathroom that leads to a hole in the outside wall. There are large cracks already starting to appear in our stained concrete floors. After closing it took over 3 months to have the trash and debris that sat piled up in front of our house hauled off, and only then by using **************** hand picked landscaper to do other work at our expense. I could go on for 3 more paragraphs regarding quality issues and yet uncompleted work, but what's most distressing about doing business with ************, is that once he has your last check, he disappears. Email, texts and phone calls go almost completely ignored. And when you do press for a response, he becomes defensive and *****. We're now into our 4th month post completion and out of 65 items on our closing punch list only 10 have been completed.
