This is a scam. They pretended to be selling health insurance through Get Covered NJ via ***** First Health with a fake website, fake licensed professionals. The insurance doesnt exist - no services are covered, $500 monthly premium that covered nothing, horrible customer service that wouldnt allow me to cancel outside of open enrollment, and didnt cover any doctors visits or medications. I was told that I could keep my doctors and this was universal healthcare in all 50 *************. This is dangerous because I didnt have any healthcare whatsoever for 4 months and had to pay tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket for treatments for existing health conditions. I have no 1095A tax form for this time period so now I owe the government money. This business needs to be stopped - buyer BEWARE. Wish I could give this negative stars.

Were very sorry for any confusion about this account. ********************** ***** is a non-profit association that provides access to resources and benefits to its members. We are unaffiliated with Get Covered NJ or Aetna. We are not an insurance company, and we are not the insurance agency that sold this to you. Your insurance agency of record is ****. We are not the same company and we do not employ insurance agents. We have contacted our third-party billing administrator (TPA) to inquire further about your account. Of the 3 products on your account, only your *************** (underwritten by **************** but does not provide major medical insurance) and *** ******** **** (provides uninsured benefits - patient advocacy and telehealth) are a part of our association membership programs. The program (TVP) that you enrolled in for health benefits is not affiliated with *** in any way. We apologize for any confusion. Our TPA confirmed your cancellation for both the *** programs and your other health program and has issued you a refund. Please check your email for the confirmation and allow time for those refunds to process with your bank. We are very sorry this was an unsatisfying experience and hope that you will find something that is better suited for your insurance needs.

Total scam!! Sales representative completely lied about everything. Gave this sales pitch about the services your were signing up for and absolutely nothing they said was true. Definitely want a full refund. Don't waste your time or money. Would give zero stars if I could.

We are sorry for any confusion. ************************ (***) is the third-party administrator (TPA) for your account with the ********************** ****** As the ***, we are contracted to handle the billing and remittance of the monthly payments for this account. *** and *** are separate entities from your selling agency. Your account has been refunded and cancelled. Confirmations have been sent to the email address on the account. This company is very misleading. I signed up for health insurance. I was told by the agent that I would have ********************** of IL health insurance. When I logged in it said "All State ID Pro" and ************************** through UNIFIED ********************** When I called they confirmed that they do not handle BBSIL. Be careful! They are not offering you health insurance, it is a life insurance policy.

We are so sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your selling agent. We are not the insurance agency that sold this to you nor are we an insurance company. Affiliated Workers Association ***** is a non-profit association that provides access to resources and benefits to its members. We have contacted our third-party billing administrator (***) to inquire further about your account. They informed us that your sales agency on your account is listed ************************* located in *******. If you check your emails for your purchases, you should see this information listed. They told us that you were also sold a ********** plan by this same agency, but you are correct, that has no affiliation with the **** Agents will often sell supplemental products in addition to a marketplace plan, which it looks like is what happened in this situation. Only 2 of your products sold to you included *** membership benefits. The *** has also informed us that your accounts for these supplemental products has been cancelled and refunded. This should not affect your BCBS plan. Please check your email for confirmations. We hope this helps.

This company is a SCAM. An AWA agent called my daughter July 17, 2024, a few minutes after she applied for an appointment to get health insurance through Covered **********. My daughter was fooled by the AWA agent into signing up for a comprehensive health plan that covered vision and dental also. She gave the agent her bank account number - all the while thinking she was signing up for healthcare through Covered California - which made her more trusting than she should have been. An hour later when she realized she had been scammed she called to cancel and the agent told her she would have to wait 72 hours - to call back Monday. She also contacted her bank to prevent the company from taking money from her account.

We were sold this as health insurance coverage for my husband. This is not an insurance company and we were taken for $279/month. We tried to use it at CVS and also three different medical offices were all unable to find any information about this company. Therefore, we paid out of pocket for everything. From reading reviews this is a life insurance policy and I am not even certain that is legit. We filed an official complaint with **************** at the phone number given on the card. This was supposedly escalated to review for a full refund. However, we never heard back from anyone and we are wondering if this is a scam. I do hope that this company is looked into further.

This company is an exploitive scam. I called after just getting laid off and losing health coverage. The agent I had was helpful and assured me that: - I would never pay more than $30 for medications (including an expensive name brand drug I need)- telehealth medicine is completely covered (including my therapist appointments)- that I could continue to see my current providers for services like my chiropractor - I would be charged a federal fee if I didn't have coverage, so I should just buy this service.I found NONE of the following to be true. I was very patient working with my doctors as they researched FirstHealth and their plans. None of my providers had ever heard of them. I was given prescription and vision "discount cards" instead of actual coverage. These covered only a fraction of the cost of my medications, which caused me to forgo care. I had to pay out of pocket for all my providers. I tried looking through the First Health directory of approved providers, and MANY of the ones I called had never even heard of First Health. I couldn't even get to the affiliated vision website because the link was broken. My plan was very confusing to understand and eventually I realized I didn't have coverage for specialist doctors or emergency room care. And to top it off, I found out much later that I live in a state where you don't get taxed for not having coverage. Essentially, I threw money at a useless program because I was assured it was the best option for me during an incredibly difficult time. When I tried to receive clarity and ask for a refund for misleading services, I called numerous numbers listed on my "coverage" cards. When I finally got to calling **** a very rude agent refuted all my claims, gave false information, and hung up on me when I asked for clarification. Save your money and DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

We are not an insurance company and the *******s you reference in your complaint were not provided through **** *** is also not the selling agency that you reference in your complaint or the sales agent who enrolled you. Based on your review, it sounds as though your primary communication was with this sales agent or his company. We have contacted our third-party administrator (***). They confirmed that you were primarily speaking to your sales agency. Your sales agency on your account is listed as **************************************** **************, based in *******. The *** also confirmed that your account has been cancelled as requested. There was only one *** ********** *******, which includes only patient advocacy, a prescription discount and emergency air transportation, on your enrollment. We have requested that this ******* be refunded. Please check your email for the receipts. These will show up in 6 amounts of $69.99. This was the price of the *** ******* which was included in the total you were billed every month for all your *******s. Please allow time for your cards issuing bank to process these refunds. They may not all clear at the same time. We again apologize for any confusion regarding your account and any negative experience you may have had.

I dont want to give this company any stars. Its not insurance coverage and it does not meet the guidelines to be in compliance. It states that on the bottom of the paper work but the company will say that they dont see that anywhere on their end. I called my doctor ******* They informed me that as far as the payor ID goes, it should not have letters in front of the numbers it should just be all numbers. Also on the card it shows the word member it does not show the word insured. On a legit insurance card it will show insured. The woman that signed me up made false statements. She also chose the plan for me and didnt let me pick and choose. She also did not let me look at the documents before hand but assured me and even looked all of my doctors up and said I was covered and they take my insurance. She never once said it was discounts. Theres no discounts. Theres no insurance. Places dont take the Multi PPO Plan. Hang up the phone, dont give them your cc#. I have spoken to customer service 3 times now. I got a call this evening and this person asked me why I was canceling and then started in on me. Took the focus off them saying I need to look up reviews on another company he said over and over again. If you ****** AWA ********************** the BBB investigating this company for fraud pops right up. SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY. DONT SHOP HERE, ITS NOT REAL!

I believe this to be a scam organization. They coax you with prices over the phone but they seem to write whatever they want in the long list of documents they send you for signature which does not appear to be what I agreed to. I believe they cheated me out of 4-months of super high payments that I do not believe I authorized. They have a different company on the billing statement that you cannot even find a number to so when you look at your bank statement you cannot even find who that charge belongs too. Its a sham company in my opinion.

We are very sorry for any confusion about this purchase. Affiliated Workers Association ***** is a non-profit entity that provides resources and benefits to its members. The sales agent that enrolled you is not affiliated with **** After reviewing with our third-party administrator (***) who handles the billing and administration for our association, it appears that two of the products you were sold were associated with *** a dental ********** and a telemedicine resource. After researching your account, the *** has found that you did call in December to cancel and were transferred to the selling agency during that process. The selling agent contacted them after you were transferred to their insurance agency and told the *** that you had decided to keep your account active. This was an unfortunate miscommunication that did result in you continuing to be billed. The *** has informed us that they have corrected that mistake and refunded you those payments, including the *** ********** levels. They sent the refund receipts for those 4 transactions to the email address you have on file with them. If you would like to contact them, their customer service number is ************. Again, we apologize for the confusion and hope that the refund has helped in this situation.

***************************** | Agent License: ********. This person is scammer and robbed $1000 from us. We had to switch our insurance because we kept getting screwed over in taxes, so we reached out for other options. That guy called us and told us a bunch of bull c*** about how this insurance covers everything. Well come to find out it covers absolutely nothing. I went to the pharmacy today to get my medicine that keeps me alive and was told that there were no pharmacy benefits attached to my plan. I called to figure out what the issue is and was talked to by a horrible person who refused to transfer me to a supervisor when I asked. Then log onto this website and see that everyone says the same thing. Now I have to worry about if I'm able to figure something out with my medicine until new insurance takes affect. We will be pursuing legal action towards the scam company unless we are refunded. Thank you for the life or death situation!

Needed insurance because my husband had lost his job. I asked the broker several questions and he said I can look over the documents and cancel anytime. Stated your customer service department is award winning. Well that was determined to be a lie. Upon reading I realized this wasn't what I wanted or what i need!! I've tried to cancel this program several times. I've been hung up on, talked to disgustingly, treated absolutely terrible. If what you state is true and it's a month to month basis just cancel it!!! This company already got me for almost $500!! I just want it cancelled!!! Please help!!!

We are so sorry to hear that you have had a difficult time in cancelling your account. The ********************** ***** is not the entity that sold this to you and likewise is not who you were speaking to on the phone when trying to cancel your account. The insurance agency that is listed on your account is BSA Health Consultants. The *** is a completely separate entity from that insurance agency. We have been assured by our third-party benefits administrator that this account was fully refunded and cancelled as of March 5th, 2024, yesterday, at the request of BSA Health Consultants. Again, we apologize for the trouble you have had and hope that the refund and cancellation has settled this complaint.
