Business mailed potentially fraudulent letter with the header stating RE: **************************, Potential lapse of warranty coverage.Letter goes on to use language implying they are associated with lender and you must call for their warranty within 10 days otherwise risk a lapse in coverage.Small print at bottom indicates they are not in fact affiliated with mortgage company despite using their letterhead.Business Response

American Home Protect,LLC Is CONSTANTLY sending me letters LOOK are you STUPID or just that DESPERATE you need to keep sending me letters you so desperate you need business? GET LOST STOP mailing me stiop Calling me STOP EMAILING me I am not interested in your SERVICE ! WHAT is the problem here LOST my info and stop sending me letters or any info! I did NOT ask for your services nor do I want them ! WHAT part do you not understand ? IM filing this info against ******* because I would like you to lose my personal info and stop trying to contact me any shape or form ! I keep getting correspondence from American Home Protection in ***********. Each one is marked third notice as if its some past due bill. I have never done business with this company nor have I contacted it and I am tired of getting these scam notices from them as if they have a warranty on my home. I see on the Internet that they particularly contact the elderly and I am 75 years old myself. I am still in control of my faculties, but Im sure a lot of people arent and they would be vulnerable to a scam like this. This is inexcusable in my opinion and something should be done about it.Business Response

American Home Protect Claims they have contacted us about home warranty. They have not. American Home Protect Claims we are a customer. We are not. Despite calling them, they continue to mail us scam letters on warranty.Business Response

I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. Note: To send shady or questionable material on warranty service is similar to vehicle warranty service. Shady.
Despite calling the companies toll-free number to cease the mailings, the letters continued. I trust the mail will stop. I also appreciate the said company not calling us customer. We will never be a customer.

On 3/25/2025, I received in a security envelope a letter from American Home protect, LLC , address of *************************************************************. I never have owned a home. I never contacted them for services. I believe it is a scam/fraud. I also think they send this letter trying to cause harm, scare tactic thinking you have to purchase their services.Business Response

I keep getting letters saying my warranty is about to expire. I've never had any business with this company. My last letter was a pink one saying it was my second notice, making it look like I was in arrears. This company preys on senior citizens and their business practices are scurrilous.
