FixTman was originally hired to come to my house and install a mount for my TV. Unfortunately the installers dropped my TV on the ground by accident and ended up breaking the screen. I contacted FixTman and they ordered me a new TV which took a few weeks to arrive. On 1/28/25 I received a call from them that a technician would be arriving the next day between 2pm-4pm to install my new TV. On 1/29/25 no technician came to my house. I had to call the company multiple times to see when they would be able to come. When it was 6pm I called again to rechedule for the following day. I was told that on 1/30/25 a technician would arrive between 9am-11am to install my TV. Once again, no one came to my house. After multiple calls to the company they said they have been unable to reach the technician for 2 days and that their team is going to check on him. All I want is a proper date and time for when my TV will arrive and for a technician to actually show up for the job. How do they not know where their technicians are or if they are even showing up for work? Why do I need to keep calling and texting to know when to expect my TV? Did the technician quit and steal my TV? Do I need to wait longer for them to order another TV for me for a different technician to install it? I am stuck waiting as they are only ones who can replace it and very upset. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company ever.Business Response

This was suppose to be an easy soundbar connection. This provider managed to disconnect the previously working blu ray from the soundbar and then repeatedly refused to honor their 100% satisfaction guarantee and reconnect all proper connections. I knew more than the 'technician' they sent out. Thankfully, this was not a medical operation or I would be on life support!!!The phone call after the botched connection resulted in the tech yelling down the phone at me that he was NOT there for the blu ray, ONLY FOR THE SOUNDBAR!!! The following texts are what he sent sent after yelling down the phone at me:I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH THE *** RAY. I PAID NO ATTENTION TO IT. THAT'S NOT WHY I WAS THERE.I'M LAYING IN BED TRYING TO NAP.IF THERE'S AN **** COMING OUT OF THE *** RAY, PLUG IT INTO THE **** PORT ON THE TV.That was the level of service I received. I cannot recommend these fly-by-night cowboys. I suggest that NO ONE should allow FixTman to provide any type of service. Hello. We just did the job for Sound Bar installation and customer paid for it. No extra service was done, nor included on the invoice. And the blue ray was never part of the service or touched by the technician. But as customer satisfaction is most important for us, when customer reported this issue, we even offered to send a new technician to check the issue with Blue ray, but customer declined.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because the firm's response is wholly inaccurate. The receptionist and the technician were made aware that the soundbar required connections to the cable box AND the blu ray. Otherwise, what is the purpose of the soundbar? Merely to run the TV sound? That is disingenuous as the TV runs various devices!! The offer to send another tech out is a hollow offer as the company is aware of the dissatisfaction with their service and, their steadfast unwillingness to remedy the obvious issue. I will not allow anyone from this company to be inside my house as I feel duped and extremely uncomfortable with their level of service.

We hired FixTman to install a full motion/moveable TV mount on our wall on 8/23/22. We barely use this TV, but upon adjusting the screen last night, we noticed that most of the screws are loose and hanging out of the wall. The mount is hanging off the wall and the TV is tilted, barely holding up. The company failed to mount the screws to the studs, as they should've been. The installation was improper, shoddy, and negligent. I contacted FixTman to simply fix this mistake by reinstalling the mount. They refuse to do so but instead insist on charging me a fee to remove the mount and a fee to reinstall it, which is more than double the amount of the original installation. No one in their right mind will pay more than twice the amount to a company who has already proven to be untrustworthy. Per previous BBB complaints, this company has a pattern and practice of improper installations that needs to be investigated. These improper installations can cause thousands of dollars in damage and injuries or even death, which is a major lawsuit waiting to happen if this company doesn't improve its craftsmanship and customer service. To rectify my complaint, I ask FixTman to either 1) immediately send a tech to CORRECTLY and PROPERLY reinstall the mount or 2) refund my original payment of $119 so that I can hire another company to do soBusiness Response

Hello. We appologize for the issue you are facing. We did the job for you more then 2 years ago. We have a warranty for 30 days, not 2 years. If there is any issue with the install, it would not take 2 years to show up. When you reported the issue, we informed we can come back to fix the issue, but it will be a new job. ************ exhibited multiple failures today that should warn away future customers.#1) We had scheduled an ****** arrival for 2 technicians to complete a Gazebo install today At 630am you texted me that they would not be here until 11. I immediately (at 7am) texted you and msg'd you on TT that this was unacceptable as this was an 8-10 hour project even for 2 guys and it was going to be dark when they finished. You wrote back that they would be here at 11 and finish before dark. 11am came and went and no surprise no technicians showed up and no communication from you. At 11:38 you messaged me "Techs will be there by 11:30" ?? I let you know they were indeed not here, and again no communication. You stated you did not know where the techs were and were going to dispatch someone else. I then asked to talk to the owner and a supervisor called me, who was nice enough but had no answers or explanation about how poorly run your company is that you do not know where your techs are, can not reach them, and do not communicate with ************ 1pm I canceled the install since it was clear you weren't going to deliver and hired another firm for tomorrow. I wasted an entire day off work today for your appointment (which I confirmed multiple times). ************ needs to :#1) Figure out a way to know where its technicians are, and have the ability to communicate with them.#2) Learn how to communicate with customers and set expectations. Calling me BEFORE they were late to let me know they weren't going to make it and offering the discount you offered at the very end would have led to a very different outcome then me having to chase you every 30 minutes and waste my entire day.Business Response

I hired this company to install an over-the-stove microwave, and they did a terrible job. After having them come back twice to fix it, the work was still not done correctly. They didnt tighten the screws, which is extremely dangerous given the microwaves position. I eventually had to hire someone else to take down their faulty work and reinstall the microwave properly.When I tried to dispute the charge, they lied to ***** claiming I never contacted them for repairs and that I was unresponsive when they reached out about the dispute. Thats completely false. I had been in contact with them from the start, and I fully explained why I was disputing the charge when they asked.After leaving a negative review, they called me a few days ago and offered me $30 to change my review to a positive one, essentially asking me to leave a fake review. This was disgusting to me. I refused because the company is terrible, and no one should go through what I went through. Im reporting them because their work is awful, and they are liars. On Monday August 5 we had booked for fixtman to hang a tv over the fireplace at 4pm. Workers arrived around 6:15 and broke our tv stand which was attached to the tv so it can no longer bee used. They hung the tv very high and uneven and crooked. When we complained to the company they saw an issue and agreed to send a tech out on Thursday at 10. I had to take unpaid time off work. The tech did not arrive within the window and I was told it was a family emergency. They did send a tech then for 1:45 who said there was no family emergency. He took the tv down and proceeded to crack the wall and put more holes in before saying he could not do the job and leaving. He did try to patch the holes but so poorly that the mud has cracked in the holes and did not patch the crack. We called again and there were many lies within the company. They agreed to send someone out Saturday at 8am and would call when that job was done and that all the damage would be repaired. The tech arrived Saturday at 9. He did mount the tv but did not fix the damage as this was not what he was sent for. Then he would not leave until we paid even though the company said they would call and damage would be fixed. We did pay and now they have blocked and are not fixing the damage.Business Response

I have allowed this company to make 4 separate appointments to come mount my TV and they have rescheduled / no-showed 4 times, 4 days in a row. This is infuriating. They have also taken payment from my credit card without doing the job. I want a refund from them, aswell as you guys looking into their business practices. They say they will call me back with updates to when their technician will call but they never do. I fully believe this company is a scam!!!Business Response

i am sorry for rescheduling and we refunded your money on August 2nd and 3rd and we send you receipt of refund and basically take 5 to 7 days money back to your account but you went and disputed your payment again when the money it was on the way and we talked to you and you supposed to call your bank and remove your dispute but you didn't yet.

Terrible. They dont inform you but they take a total of 55% of your pay and they dont even lift a finger. The contract they showed me that I supposedly signed I never seen in my life. What I did see was them stating they take 5% until they reach $2000. I will never work for or recommend them to anyone. They also state the thoroughly check people before they hire them which is false. I had a friend fill out an application that KNOWS NOTHING of what they were asking for when it came to qualifications to be a sub contractor but yet she was hired. This is literally a scheme. Youre better off posting on social media sites to find work and get ALL your money instead of paying 55% to someone who doesnt even lift a finger while youre out working in the blistering heat and pouring rain.Business Response

On March 24th 2024 *****(Contractor)of FIXTMANLLC Came to install our t v on the wall. He hit a main water line that flooded the whole apartment. Water damage everywhere. I have tried several attempts to rectify this situation. I went through my insurance company. It was determined that the contractor for FixtmanLLC Was it fault? We have pictures. The fire department had to come out. Furniture damage clothes damaged products Damaged in the amount ranging well over $7000. I am rejecting this response because: I was called on Sunday and told that FixTmanLLc will not honor the damage. They refuse to take responsibilty for the damage their contractor caused. They admitted he cause it. I Sent them pictures of all the damage and a list of items we had replaced. There response was I'm lying about all of this. I was open to a compromise to get this nightmare over but that is not their goal. Frankly I don't take kindly to being told I'm a LIAR. I fair justice nothing more or less. This need to be resolved soon.
