I purchased my home with J Houston Homes April 2024 and have had several issues with my home. Some were fixed and others were not. The Issues that were not fixed, the repair tickets were just closed without my knowledge. Future home buyers make sure you purchase from a home builder that will fix all your repair issues. Home inspection may not catch every single repair issue. I'm not so sure I would recommend this company to anyone.

I have had the worst experience with **** Houston Homes. While closing went well, the 12 months after closing has been a nightmare. Houses are built so poorly that everything falls apart, but their customer service is where things really fall apart. While under warranty, requests do not go answered at all. I have had several warranty requests open for 90 days with absolutely no updates. My bathroom ceiling had dry wall repaired over 30 days ago, and they still have not called to scheduled painting to fix. DO NOT BUY A **** HOUSTON HOME.

Zero stars for the simple fact that they chose the absolute WORST management company to run the **** I have lived in this community for 6 years and they STILL have not let one single homeowner on the board of the **** ******* and Associates refuses to maintain our common grounds, has allowed our pool equipment to be trashed, no furniture at the pool for over a year due to "being repaired." Constant issues with anything that is the responsibility of the *** but they are so quick to charge outrageous fees to homeowners for having their trash cans sitting outside 1 extra day. NEVER buy a **** Houston home until they fire ******* and hire a management company that is willing to do their job.

I live in the *********** neighborhood in **********, and while we love our home, we are paying money for an amenity we can't use because **** Houston refuses to manage the community pool. Here is just a short list of the issues occurring at the pool, all involving unattended teenagers: swearing, drinking, fighting, vandilizing property such a breaking the sink in the men's restroom, inappropriate relations taking place in the pool, etc. The list could go on! The residents have been asking for the *** to hire a pool attendant for 3 years, but the **** Houston board members who control the *** refuse to act. They have known this has been an issue each summer, and here we are again 3 days into the pool season and the police have been called numerous times. **** Houston is a terrible company, and I will never buy in one of their communities ever again. If you are in the market for a new home, do not buy in the *********** neighborhood or any community managed by **** Houston.

We were a family who was looking forward to our dream home with **** Houston went from very exciting to very disappointing. First we were told incorrect information by the sales person consistently about pricing and expectations of the build and floor plan. Then when we finalized our decision we discover that pricing which was told was not accurate and our realtor negotiated it back to the price we were told. As we put our ******* money down, we were told 2% , not a problem, but then it was a we have qualify you with our lender. That was strike three and we knew it was all about the money and not wanting to help make dreams come true for people. We have the credit (already provided pre approval letter) and the money. Sad part is why do business with people who just want to profile you according to race, color, and assumptions. It was disheartening to pull back from this home. As an executive of a large financial firm and my husband who is a director of operations of a *** team who works very hard, when you are told you have to do different things every step of the way and none of this was disclosed in person with sales person who sat in the office and did not even go walk any property with **. This is not our first rodeo in a buying home. We put our house on market and it was under contract in 10 days! Of course we have everything in line to purchase a new home, but the sales people and whomever you have making business decisions is not professional, knowledgeable, or caring. Yes you had a solid family wanting to buy a new home, but we have are moving on to builders who care and do not profile and want to see dreams come true for families like ours. Very disappointing **** Houston.
