    Pattern of Complaint:

    On April 11, 2024, BBB notified WedTrend of concerns in consumer complaints regarding the company’s marketplace practices.

    Specifically, BBB identified a pattern of complaints alleging:
    Consumer purchased a dress online that has not been received.
    Requests for a full refund for an item not shipped/received or item returned are ignored by the company.
    Customer support is not responsive via email or their contact us page, and there is no phone number available to contact them.
    The item did not fit, was the wrong color, or the shipping of the item took over 7-10 business days, as advertised on their website’s shipping page.

    BBB requested the company's voluntary cooperation in eliminating the identified pattern in consumer complaints by providing a written response outlining the steps the company will implement to avoid future complaints of the same or similar nature.

    BBB was unable to verify via the Texas Secretary of State website that a business registration for WedTrend is active or in existence and requested proof from the business.

    WedTrend was not responsive to the consumer complaints nor any of BBB’s inquiries regarding the pattern of complaints. The BBB investigation closed as ‘Failed to Respond’ on April 30, 2024.

      I ordered two dresses from the company on March 7, 2024 for a total of $286 plus shipping because I was unsure about sizing and was worried about shipping times before a wedding. The larger size was a bit snug and didn't fit correctly in the bust, so I repackaged the dress and didn't bother opening the smaller size. I initiated a return for a refund immediately on March 22nd. The company tried to talk me into keeping the dresses for a small discount, which I denied. I wasn't provided the return address until April 8th after 8 emails back-and-forth and me having to push for the return to be started. I sent the dresses back and had to check the shipping status because the company would not respond to me. The dresses arrived at the return address on April 15th. On May 10th they finally replied after I left a bad review and said they still needed to process the dresses. On May 14th I was partially refunded for the cost of one dress. I was not refunded for the second dress that never left the packaging. I had to push to receive a refund for the second dress, which I received May 24th, but it was only a partial refund of $100.10, not the $143 I was supposed to receive. When asked for clarification as to why the company kept some of my money when the dress was in perfect condition, I have been given the run around. As of now, I haven't heard from the company in 5 days and they still have not provided a full refund. I would like the remaining $42.90 I am owed. The company's handling of the entire situation has been incredibly inadequate and suspicious. A friend in the same bridal party faced the same issues in trying to receive a refund for a dress they sent back, so I know this is a company-wide problem, and my treatment is not an isolated incident.

      Purchased a dress from wedtrend that was delivered this past week. On their webpage is stated that there is a two week return window for a full refund. The dress did not fit properly, even when using their online size guide. When I tried to email customer service to initiate the return, the email continued to get bounced back saying, address not found. There is no other method for communication listed to get in contact for a return.

      I ordered a dress from them and paid extra for expedited shipping, the dress never shipped and now their company information is taken down from the connected website that they required me to download for tracking of my dress. At this point, I would really like my money back. I have contacted customer service twice without any response.My concern is this seems like a fraudulent company and theyre taking peoples money on a regular basis.

      On April 21, 2024, I placed an order with Wedtrend for 3 dresses. One of the dresses was delivered on April 26, 2024 and it did not fit, so I emailed on April 30, 2024 to request a return and to cancel the remaining dresses that had not yet been shipped. They asked for a photo of the dress and a reason for return, which I provided. I again requested the cancellation of the remainder of the order. As of May 16, 2024, I have yet to receive any return information and furthermore the other dresses that I had cancelled were shipped and are now in the process of being delivered.

      The dress I received is not at all true to the color on the website. I followed the steps required to request a return and received a reply asking for a photo of the dress, which I sent immediately. After not receiving any further reply for several days, I contacted them again. Each of their responses since asks me to take another stepconsider keeping the dress at a 10% discount, send another photo, etc.without ever giving me the address to return the dress for a refund. I have gone back and forth with their customer service half a dozen times now and still do not have the information needed.

      I purchased a dress on April 16, 2024 and paid for expedited shipping. Their expedidited shipping is 3-8 days from the purchase date. On the 9th day I contacted them by email to cancel my order since it had not shipped yet. I did receive a repsonse from "Ma. ******** A from Wedtrend" They said they would refund my shipping cost, but the not the cost of the dress. That's unexceptable. The dress was not shipped as promised and and paid for and still has not shipped. I responded to their email requesting a full refund or I would file a claim with my bank. I have not heard back from them.

      I purchased three dresses from this company. I was tracking the status and they had not yet shipped. I reached out to the company to cancel the order since they would not arrive on time. By the time I heard back from them the dresses shipped. I received them and immediately reached out again to determine how to return the dresses. The first response back said I would need to send pictures of them so I did it right away. Their response back said I could get 10% off if I kept the dresses or I still wanted to return them and they would provide me with instructions and a mailing address. I said I would like the address to return them. Then they offered me 20% off to keep them. I do not want the dresses and have been trying to get the return process completed for a week now and they continue to drag this along. I understand I will have to pay for return shipping but Id like the rest of my money returned as it states on the company website.

      I purchased two dresses from Wedtrend that were supposed to be delivered within 7 - 10 business days. The dresses came after 30 days. I had emailed several times before I got a response. I finally was sent an email with a tracking number. Upon receiving that information, I knew I needed to find other dresses. Once I received the dresses I attempted to return them. I followed all the steps asked of me. I have been asking for a return address in order to send the dresses back to but I am being ignored. I have been charged on my cc and unless I am able to return the dresses I don't see how I will be able to get my money back. I have scoured the internet for an address myself and even a phone number but I am unable to come up with anything.

      On March 29th 2024 I placed an online order from wedtrend.com for a prom dress. Before placing my order I read all the fine print about processing and shipping time frames as well as cancellation policy. I anticipated two weeks for processing and then my dress would ship. After two weeks and hearing nothing from the company I reached out through the customer service link on the website and have gotten no reply. I have emailed three times since and still have heard nothing from the company. The company drafted the funds from my account on April 1st and today is April 18th. Also the BBB is showing them based out of ***** but they did in fact charge a fee for out of country transaction.

      On 2/11/24 I ordered two bridesmaids dress (2 different sizes) for my sisters wedding in April. On their website it clearly states items ship within ***** days. On 2/26/24 asking why the order had not shipped yet, I got a response that my order was still in processing. On 3/2 I asked for my order to be cancelled. On 3/4 they responded saying it had been over the allotted days to request for a refund and then only offered to refund the shipping cost? But they had not yet shipped anything. On 3/19, still no dresses and they still refused to cancel my order and refund me. I ended up ordering a dress from another site. On 3/15/24 I got the email the dresses had finally shipped, over a month later. They were delivered to me on 3/26/24. I immediately emailed the company they their provided email address requesting a return on 3/27/24. On 3/28/24 I received an email stating I needed to provide reasoning for my return and a picture of the dresses? I emailed them back and let them know they were still in packaging and that I no longer needed them due to their long shipping time. I have not heard another word since. I have emailed them 4 times since and no one returns my emails. I need to return the dresses and get my money back. My order number is WBWTUS4182
