      1/31/2025 we done a trade in with *** Hoover of Katy ****** We finally got a letter from our trade in saying was finally paid on 2/24/25!!!! Closed on 1/31/2025. Way past the alloted time told would be paid off resulting in $303.58 in interest due to not being handled in timely manner. I reach out to **** the manager as he was our salesperson the 1st time around. He said they would reimburse us. It's been 7 days now and still nothing BUT THEY WITHOUT MY CONSENT RESENT PAPERS TO OUR FUNDER UPPING THE LOAN $439!!! HOW CAN THEY DO THAT?? I have a signed contract!!!

      ****** informed me that your reimbursement check had initially been sent via regular mail, and upon learning that you hadnt received it, he requested a replacement check this morning. This new check will be sent out via ***** today to ensure prompt delivery.

      I did attempt to reach you at the phone number you provided to the BBB *************), but it appears the number is no longer in service.Both ****** and I would like the opportunity to speak with you directly, should you have another number where you can be reached.

      Highway robbery, my story is same as the rest on here getting swindled out of a $500 deposit that I was told was refundable then after finding there was major mechanical issues with the boat, it was then suddenly non refundable.

      I took my ** to *** Hoover on 19 December 2024 to have some warranty issues taken care of. I asked them to look at some damage that was not covered by warranty and give me an idea of how much it would cost to have it repaired. When I got the ** back pm 28 December 2024 they charged me $189 for the estimate. I challenged it and they said it was the minimum to do any work claiming the estimate was work done. They said it was in the fine print of the approval document I signed when I dropped it off and the money would be deducted from the repair costs if they did they did the repair work. However, they did not provide me with the estimate they charged me for. I requested the estimate multiple times and they did not provide me with one. They referred to the expense receipt and claimed that was the estimate but there was no estimate, just a receipt. I have reached out to *** Hoover through their webpage and they have not responded. In summary, I was charged $189 for a service that was not provided. I am seeking a full refund because the estimate has no value now. If the BBB cannot resolve this I will take further actions against *** Hoover.

We discussed the situation and he said he would communicate my complaint to the manager at the *****************. While I appreciate these people contacting me, the complaint stated my issue was with the Georgetown site. To date, I have not heard from the manager there and am giving him some additional time before proceeding with further actions.

      I am rejecting this response. I had multiple contacts with *** Hoover and they finally agreed to refund the money. I was even sent a image of the refund receipt. However, the refund never appeared in my account. I contacted the manager about it and he said he would look at it Monday. The refund still has not appeared in my account. When I contacted him about this he did not reply. I have now disputed this charge with my bank and am considering further actions.

      On 10/18/2024 I had purchased a ************ and did not know I signed a service contract on the motor that had took away from the down payment so on the contract with in all the other contracts I had to signed it says I Quote: If you cancel this Contract and do not receive a refund from us or the Seller, please contact the ***************** Unquote. So on 10/25/2024 I went to *** Hoover and had them to fill out the MARINE CANCELLATION FORM that they would not even email to me and talking to *** the manager and *** ******* F&I Manager they tell me the refund has to go back to the Lienholder and this is not what my contract says but on the MARINE CANCELLATION FORM it says it the refund goes to the lienholder and that was not on the Original Contract and on 12/03/2024 I called Protective Asset Protection and ask them has *** Hoover RV & MARINE CENTER sent you the Cancellation Form yet and the said no so the man emailed me that form to feel out and sent back to him on Email on 12/05/2024 *** Hoover is playing games to PROFIT EXTRA MONEY and I lost another $ ******** for Paint and Fabric Protection that I also did not see that when I was signing the documents why would I want to pay that money out on a 8 year old Pontoon Boat that paint was already faded and the Interior not in the best shape the answer to that I would not it would be a WASTE OF MONEY you see if they had not took a total of $ ******** out for all of these Unauthorized Deductions I would had more down payment and my payment now would not be $ ****** today when *** ******* showed me on the Computer all of the figures I don`t think the $ ******** or the $ ******** or I would had stop right there and told him no DEAL there was other Complaints to BBB on *** Hoover in other states and cities I never knew it would be a problem with the ************* in ***** what happen to the Handshake that you used to be able to trust , I want that refund paid to me not to ********************* Thank you .

      On 10/9/24 went to ******** ** location. Meet with ********. I was very ***** on my price that I would even consider. After back forth not meeting my $. Salesman put on bottom of page ******. X_____________.sign to lock in price. When I left dealer there was no deal. 30min later salesman calls can do my price. ***. But the one I want is in ******** tx and would have to be delivered up and be here Saturday. At 2:37pm salesman calls and states they needed a deposit. I was estate about it. Gave my C.C. info and was sent a receipt for $1000. Never stated nonrefundable. I asked where that $ would be applied and said would go towards purchase. So instead of $******. I would owe 59 000. I was paying cash for **. They took $ at 2;44pm on 10/9/24 and by 3:55pm 10/10/24 haven't heard from them. Sent text wanting to no any info. At first was gonna finance. 4:30 was told finance lady was off. 5:45pm was sent a audio message. 5:46pm I sent a text stating to just cancel and refund my $1000. 5:48 said papers was already in progress and won't cancel. We're handling it. 10/14/24 Rv suppose to be there Saturday now audio won't be there till Tuesday. 10/15/24 1:25pm had situation come up about health so contacted them to let them no I would not be purchasing and to refund my $. 10/16/24 @9:34am Was told to contact ****** the manager. Said couldn't refund my $ and that the $ would be attached to my account/name and will be there whether it's a day or 10years from now or forever for future use. I just said bye. I did send a message asking for my account/customer number for future purchases. To try and get some kinda paper work. No response

      I have talk with my gap coverage company and have copies of the check that was send to *** hoover rv and talk with *** hoover several times about my gap refund and they told me they haven't received it but have had the check for over a month and refused to send me my refund I talk with them this morning and keep being told the same thing but they still will not send me the check

      My wife and I put down a deposit of 1k on a camper, they said we were approved. Come to find out we werent approved. We attempted to get another camper at lower value and transfer the deposit . At first they stated they couldnt find our deposit( because it was done by cash) they said yes yall be will approved for this one. But we were denied. But all of sudden when we ask for a refund they ghost us. 1) if people arent gonna be approved dont take their money. And make them feel like they are gonna walk away with something. 2) we just want our money back

      While purchasing a new *** we paid for 2 TV mounts and installation. After receiving the *** we realized the mounts were hung up in reverse (the TV plate to the wall and vice versa). This was supported by the directions. This info was emailed to the dealership and after several attempts spoke to the **************** Manager (*******) who advised the Tech and the business holds that the mounts were installed correctly. In conversation with *******, she reviewed the directions (and stated she hadnt really looked at them prior) and stated I was right; the installation is not to the directions. She advised they would get back with me. I have been put on ignore and would like the mounts corrected and the wall fixed (additional holes and damage to the walls).

      Upon shopping for a boat with sales rep ***************************** ******* manager, *********************** was asked for my card information and was emailed a deposit authorization form to sign. The initial terms were not met & I decided to shop elsewhere while never signing or submitting anything to *** Hoover. They proceeded to charge my card $1000.00 & are now refusing to refund, claiming that they met terms that were never agreed upon nor stated anywhere in writing.

      I purchased a **** motorhome on 8/21/24. I traded in a 5th wheel ($52k) and a loan ($45k) for the rest of the amount for the **** motorhome for a total of $97500 paid. My trade-in was perfect and had zero issues. I left the dealership and within 10 miles I was broken down on the side of the highway with the motorhome completely overheated. I called to talk to the sales guys and was told I would get a call back from a manager. I continued to wait for the next phone call and was told again that a higher manager would call me when I finally got that call after about 4-5 people up the line I got the ** of the Amorillo dealership where I bought it from and I told him this should not be already broken down and having me stranded. I told him I wanted to bring it back and take my trade-in home and felt this issue was a deal breaker. I was told by the ** that once I pulled the motorhome off the lot it was my problem, not his. That was the last conversation I had with them because they would not answer my calls afterward and still will not. I was stranded 6 hours from home and got zero help and was quoted $6K just to tow it home. This is not how a customer should be treated and left stranded after spending $100K on a motorhome from this dealership. I will continue to spread the word about my experience with this company and see that many others have been treated similarly. I am now stuck with a $100K motorhome that I have to fix. I feel this was not my problem since it happened less than 10 miles from the dealership. I want *** Hoover RV to pay for this to be fixed. They should make it right. They have my contact info to make it right. I am also seeking my lawyer's advice on how to move forward with this issue and getting it resolved. It would be nice for *** Hoover RV to step up and take care of this as a customer before having to escalate this further to get it resolved.
