This company is a total scam. I called this comapny recently and a repair man came and attempted to fix my dishwasher. Spent along time and coud nit fix dishwasher. Repair man said it was somethong else a pump and replaced it and now says it was an electronic bord. Came the next day and electronic board was installed - still n ot working. They charged me $377.00 which i paid. They promised to come today. This place has many bad reviews 1 star at most. They are a scam. I am thinking about filin g a policereport against the owner with the ************************* if this is not resolved soon.Initial Complaint

My 83 year old Mother with Alzheimer's couldn't operate her new washer dryer combo because of the complicated digital controls. She thought her machine was broken. She called Total Appliance. They charged her over 700.00 dollars! For nothing. They also didn't even check her dryer vent. I couldn't read the invoice because it was ineligible. I called them almost daily for 3 weeks and they wouldn't return my calls. I finally left a message that I was was going to report them. They picked up after that. He at first claimed he had been attending to somebody in the hospital. Then he said it was a different Robert. The same story he had given previously to others as they have reported on bbb. When I told him I had read about the other Robert and the hospital excuse he used on others he became agitated. Then he suddenly remembered my Mother. He told me she had overloaded her washing machine. This is simply not true. She is homebound. She only wears nightgowns and will sometimes wash a few towels with them. It is a large capacity washer machine. Her old washer had lasted over 20 years. This vile man ripped off my mother. I will also report this fraud to the the state attorney General. Taking advantage of the elderly is a crime. I have since purchased a phone that restricts calls to 911 and to family for my Mother.Initial Complaint

I paid $500 on 8/19/22 to have a control board for my LG washer replaced. Parts are guaranteed for a 90 day warranty per their repair receipt for job # 51365 (handwriting is hard to read). I realized IMMEDIATELY after he left that the washer was not fixed and called right away along with sending a video clip to prove it was not fixed. He said "I need to speak to my supervisor and will call you back". He did not so I called again. I finally had a chance to speak with him and he then said he needed to order a part and would let me know when it was in. He also assured me the check would NOT be cashed until the the work was completed and fixed satisfactorily. Since 8/19, I called multiple times to get an update. The last update I received from him was 8/29 via text message saying he was waiting for the part. Fast forward 4 weeks later, still no update so I sent a text on 9/28 requesting permission to void the check (I'm still trying to work with him), but received no response. The text showed "read". The check was cashed the very next day. I have tried repeatedly to work with this company and always been courteous, I just wanted my washer fixed, but now I would like a refund. 9/30 I sent a message saying I did not receive a reply to my text on 9/28 and now the check has cleared and I would like a refund. I believe my phone number has been blocked as the text does not show delivered/read, etc. I would like to add, I did sign the receipt on 8/17, but that was for the service fee of $79. After that I did agree to move forward with the $500 repair and the technician added that to the original job receipt on 8/19. The complaints listed here are all similar. I would call and receive a reply saying "please text me", which I did. No follow up. I would text and most of the time receive no response. It is an awful feeling to feel like you have been taken advantage of. At this point, I want a refund the move forward.Initial Complaint

On 09/13 a technician came to my house and spent less than 5 minutes there before deciding he needed to order a part. He took the service fee of $69 and promised to return and call me with the part number 2 days later. He never called and I left a message that was never returned. I called again on Tuesday and he again promised to order the part and call me with the price the next day. He never called and I finally spoke with a supervisor who promised he would look into the issues and never did. I would like my service charge back since they left me for 2 weeks with no service and no follow up.Initial Complaint

Broken ice maker. The company has come to my house several times after the initial visit 11 August 2022. I paid a total of $330.23. I have called the company and spoke to Robert. He said he was the owner. He explained that his mom was sick and he was out of town. He became irate when I asked for a refund, due to my ice maker not being fixed after multiple trips. He mentioned his sick mom several times in the conversation. I read the online Google reviews and the complaints have been similar to my current situation. Unfortunately, I am out of the country and my sister is at the house that I am renting to move my sick mother. I am out of money and out of time. I am to vacate on 30 September. The number listed on the reciept is ************, which is different from the number BBB was tracking in Ft WorthBusiness Response
