    I purchased a tub of lard (beef suet) as a one-time purchase and then discovered that I somehow signed up for a monthly "subscription" to this product. After receiving the 2nd shipment, I attempted to cancel any future shipments however I just received another email stating that a 3rd shipment was about to be sent out. Why is there no way to talk to anyone? The only phone number listed is not monitored as far as I can tell so I opened up a chat and after ***** minutes, I got a "canned" response stating that my account has been canceled. We'll see . . .

    I stopped at the BY truck in ********, ** on 18 July 25. The sign's seemed too good to be true and I should have gone with my gut feeling on this.The man selling the beef/chicken/seafood was very quick to open and close the boxes. The steaks seemed quite small but appeared of good quality......I got home and put everything in the freezer. On 19 July 25, I took several peppered and smaller sized steaks and thawed them out.Upon opening them, I was hit with a VERY SOUR and foul smell. They also had slight hint of brown to them. I have contacted BY and they are quite quick to my response. I do want others to know NOT TO DO BUSINESS with this company.I am attempting to get a full refund as I submit this review.

    I originally went to try the 20 ribeyes for $40 and was upsold to buying two boxes for nearly $400. I blame myself for being foolish. The meat was very tough and some discolored and I"ve been having stomach issues since I ate it. I contacted the company thru their website and am waiting to hear back to hopefully be compensated. Most of the meat is still in my freezer

    Definitely not worth it. The 20 rib eye deal is a rip off. They are paper thin and very fatty. Im glad thats all I bought. The 2 boxes you receive way a little over 4 pounds making them about $10 a pound no bargain. I made one for dinner and felt sick for 2 days. I could have blamed it on other things but after reading other reviews I may have gotten sick from this. Please be cautious if you buy them. My feeling is never again.

    Backyard Butchers just had one of there pop-*** open in front of my work. I bought around $300 worth of meat and the quality is terrible. Mechanically tenderized and very thin. There is a reason they have reviews turned off everywhere they can. Do not buy from them! Find a local butcher instead.

    Really loved the quality of the meat I received in the farmhouse box! The chicken and burgers were my absolute favorite. I can't explain the taste, but it definitely left me wanting more! Took advantage of their BOGO deal, so saved a bit too.

    This was an absolute scam. The butcher we bought this garbage from tried to connect with us personally (said he was interested in the same things as us) which makes it that much more devious. Its a shame that a business like this takes advantage of small town folk who thought buying from them was better than big box stores. But the meat we buy from **** Club is far superior than this c*** So disappointing. Will be letting everyone I know not to waste their time stopping here.

    I feel cheated! I was offered a deal on several boxes and was told I would also get a local discount of $50 so my total would be $289- I then see that my card has been charged for $339! After looking at what was included in the boxes, it feels like theyre showing their best cuts and then sending you home with sealed boxes of much lesser/smaller cuts of meat. This bait and switch tactic is abhorrent- I am hopeful I can get a refund from this company. Its a shame to ******* people in a small town.

    I'm another sucker who was high-pressured into buying a lot of meat. It's terrible quality, there is no way this is "prime" as advertised. Small thin ribeyes, injected to increase weight, mechanically tenderized (meaning the meat can't stand on it's own quality), it is stringy, and the burgers have tendon, gristle, maybe even bone bits in it. Absolutely horrible meat and I'm really hoping I can get a refund.

    Saw their post about 20 ribeyes for 39 dollars. Went down to buy the deal and they said you have to pay full price for an entire box before you get the ribeyes. Nothing in their ad said this. It was a complete lie. Their photos are misleading as well since they picture nice ribeyes but give you a fraction of the size that's advertised. Would not spend my money there again.
