    I received a bill from Capio concerning my hospital stay at Memorial Regional Hospital in 2020. I filed a previous complaint for the same issue approximately 1.5 years ago when AMCOL collection had the account. After receiving the bill, I notified Capio that i wanted to dispute due to the fact that i had previously requested financial help and had not received any information back from the hospital. (see attached letter which describes request of AMCOL) I was assuming Capio would go back to the hospital billing department to address the issue of the dispute, instead i received from CAPIO a letter showing verification of the debt. This was not my request. I am not disputing the bill, I am disputing the fact that i requested financial help but never received any information. Previously the bill was doubled due to an error by the hospital billing department. The bill received showed $15,000.00 and was forwarded to AMCOL collection agency showing that amount. After disputing, that is when the error was found and corrected. The hospital was also at that time supposed to look at my financial request for help. i gad already submitted bank statements and other income as requested. I made one payment to AMCOL after which I was informed to make no further payments until everything was looked into. To this date i have not heard back from the hospital, but i received a bill from CAPIO in the amount of $7,577.60. Again, I am not saying that I did not acquire a bill, because I did have a hospital stay. I requested help because there is no way I can pay this amount of money on my income. My hope is that CAPIO would get more information from the hospital on this matter based on WHAT i am disputing. I would like to know what happened with my request. instead of addressing the dispute, i received a notice from CAPIO saying they purchased the bill from the hospital so I have to pay. I can pay 50.00 every 2 weeks until the financial piece is resolved If CAPIO agrees

    Call not only my cell phone but also my work phone and refused to tell me who they were other than the company name. They also some how got a relative's address as my own.
