I have been a customer of ********************** for years. In April my son and I became homeless. I fell behind on my payments and now I am 3 months behind. I called today 12/23/23 and spoke to a very rude, disrespectful lady by the name of *****. I told her my situation and told her I could make a payment of $200 on 1/11 another full payment 2 weeks after that and then go from there. I told her my focus had been finding us a place to live and I did a week ago. Her response was if you can pay $50 today, I can hold the account for 20 days. Seriously!!! I told her again I dont have it and that I could pay $200 on 1/11. She then got upset and said well she couldnt do anything on her end. I told her unfortunately my answer wouldnt change I didnt have the money until then. She said hers wouldnt either. I ended up hanging up because she was so rude!!I called back to put a cease and desist on the account for ALL they had for me. Her response was what do you want me to do you owe us money. I said put a cease and desist on all numbers and she said she wouldnt. ***** was taunting and laughing. I have tried to make arrangements on this account with no understanding or empathy from this company. ************** violated the 7 and 7 rule of the ****** After we talked, she turned around (after I requested a cease and desist on the account) and left a detailed message as to why she wouldnt put a cease and desist on the account. Per this law, after we spoke there was to be no more contact for 7 days after a phone conversation which we had. I have tried to work this out and was told in writing through a text message if I didnt call or come by to resolve the account, there would be possible legal action. I have made an attempt to begin getting this account back on track.

I am writing to express my deep concern and distress regarding the sharing of my nonpublic information with the three credit bureaus, coupled with the inaccurate information furnished on my credit report. This has caused significant financial and emotional distress, as it not only jeopardizes my financial standing but also violates my right to privacy as outlined in 15 USC **** Section 602.According to 15 USC **** Section 604 A Section 2, a consumer reporting agency is prohibited from furnishing any account information without my explicit written instructions. It has come to my attention that my information has been shared without such consent, leading to erroneous entries on my credit report.Furthermore, under 15 USC **** B, a creditor, such as ATLASCREDI, is explicitly prohibited from treating any payment on a credit card account as late for any purpose under an open-end consumer credit plan. I urge you to rectify this situation promptly and correct the inaccuracies on my credit report. This matter has not only tarnished my creditworthiness but has also caused considerable emotional distress. I expect immediate action to rectify this situation, including the removal of inaccurate information and adherence to federal regulations protecting consumer rights. For your reference, my account number is ************. I trust that *************************** will promptly address these concerns and take corrective measures to ensure compliance with relevant statutes.

Atlas Credit **** ** Location - Manager ******* and CSR. I took out a loan last year and due to emergency heart procedure , which they were informed about why there was a delay in payment, I inquired about help from a consideration firm, because it was possible Id have to stop working due to surgery, and wanted to make sure some form of payment could be made, but ended up not needing to do so. Manager ******* took issue with this and persistently called to discourage using the consolidation firm repeatedly even after being told I was hospitalized and couldnt speak. They sent a certified mail letter to my home while I was still hospitalized, and were told thats why there was no response. So literally the day I returned to work at the beginning of October, I was served with legal paperwork concerning the loan. I totally understood I was way behind and this unfortunately was the steps taken, because I was seeking the help of consolidation company. Once I took the steps to make recourse, I was able to speak with the Manager ********, we worked out a payment plan and moved forward. Every two weeks payment was made via debit card over the phone with no issues. Due to a hectic work schedule I often would honestly forget to call a day early prior to payday to inform that I would indeed be paying the next day on my regularly scheduled payday. Even though I would receive a payment confirmation via text, representatives would call my job, or reference contacts weekly without fail, even though they had my cell number, the number I called from and received receipt of payment to. Today 3/14 I spoke with a representative and inquired why they continue calling my references when you clearly have number. I AGAIN verified they had my cell, email, etc and advised them to call me first, as I have no problem answering the phone or making payments, and Im fact made a double payment today. I dont know what the deal is or if its being done on purpose, but it needs to be looked in to

Per supervisor, the employees are just following procedures. If customer does not make payment when scheduled, Atlas procedure is to call the following day via cell, job & one reference if Atlas can not reach the customer.

I took a loan out with Atlas. I lost my job and was having issues paying them back. I did make several attempt to pay them so they would quit coming to my house and harassing me. I feel extremely threatened by them. I have every intention of repaying them soon as my income tax hits. But they still continue to send rude disrespectful letters. I will never do business with this pathetic company ever!

I have had numerous loans with this company. Since 2018 and have never been this late I been having a hard time since July and have totaled them on a lot of accounts that I plans to pay them I just don't have the money at this time, but I let them know as soon as I have, they will have it as well. They have taken the calls to far they have called my phone more than 6 times a day and including my job which I have told not to do because is cause me distress and effect my work and they continue to call. They have even called back-to-back which I find inappropriate. I work for a loan company before, so I do know the procedures.
