    I purchased United Financial Freedom's MoneyMax program March 2023. It was a very high price, but after meeting with the rep multiple times, he guaranteed it would help us pay off debt faster even if we didn't have any discretionary funds available each month. I'm a numbers person and the program did not intimidate me. I met with the counselor that helps you set up your account and got everything set up. I gave it my best effort, but the program did not do what it was said to do. I felt like you needed at the very least 30 days to try out a monthly budgeting system. (We were living in a camper at the time and in moved into a house a few months ago, so I am a little slow in submitting this to the BBB.)I reached out for help a few times and then finally reached out and said that this program is not working. They then informed me that it's only a 3 day refund policy. How can one possibly try out a monthly budgeting system that is supposed to help you pay down debt in 3 days? I felt very much taken advantage of and definitely want to warn others about this company. They take advantage of hurting people and then offer no true value in their product.

    Total Scam!!! Do not waste your money!! I started the program and it did not work properly. They "worked" with me to correct it. Then I found out they were just overriding the system to get the end result. I went to the point they even wiped everything and I reset it up. It still did not work. I was told it would work better than quicken and I could eliminate it also. That was not true this program did not do anything more than what quicken would do. Not only would did it not compare to quicken it does not work as good a quicken. It does not give you different dates to pay your bills to cut interest like I was told. It is just a fancy way of trying to do a budget. They talk you into get zero interest cards to help because the system will move your money to save you interest. It said it did but it did not it just made things more of a mess. I spent too many hours trying to make it work and it did not get me anywhere. Do not waste your money! They will not give me a refund because they are saying it is past the 3 days even though they talked me into trying to make it work longer. I could not even get an appointment with someone within the 3 days to start using the program. There are other programs that are better and less of a headache that WORK and do not cost anywhere near the price.

    You purchased the program on August 16, 2023. Your selling agent did a financial analysis before the sales with your current account balances. You were set up for your initial training to complete the program setup and to learn how to maintain it. You canceled the training two times and it wasnt until September 5th that you had the training with your coach. While doing the training you were upset that your account balances had to be updated. Since it was almost a month from the time you purchased the program to the time you had the training, the balances for your accounts had changed. You became annoyed and insisted that we were manipulating the program to work for you. We werent. The coach was trying to make sure your current balances were accurate.Since most of the 90-minute training session was spent on updating account balances and showing you how to do that, another training session was scheduled on September 19th, 2023. You canceled that appointment. You sent an email stating that you would not be making the appointment since your numbers were all messed up and said your coach was setting it up to override the system and change figures where it had you going negative. The coach replied to your email saying thats why you had to complete the training and finish setting up your accounts to reflect your real balances. You were asked to reschedule the appointment. You did not want to. You said you werent interested. You also informed the agent who sold you the program that you wouldnt be doing the training.You sent an email on September 20th stating you wanted a different coach. You were sent an appointment schedule, but you did not reply.On October 5th you called customer support to find out how to ignore the program suggestions from September because you did not want to follow the program. You were shown how to do it. If you dont follow the program's suggestions, you will not get out of debt using it.On October 12th, 2023, your selling agent called in and said you wanted to reset the program and start over. On March 7th, 2024, you asked for a refund.Your refund was denied since it was 7 months since you purchased the program. We gave you every opportunity to use the program with the promise to get you out of debt. You wasted our coach's time canceling multiple appointments and consistently said the system was being manipulated. You were not willing to take direction and are calling our company a SCAM. We have been in business for decades and have helped thousands of clients get out of debt. You are correct, this is not Quicken. Quicken cant account for real-life scenarios and make adjustments so you can continue to pay down your debt.Our Training Manager reached out to you on March 26th, 2024, to see if you would be open to doing your training with her. We truly believe we can help you. We haven't received a response. We arent going anywhere if you change your mind.
