I never signed up for any mailings with this company. In fact, the email they are emailing is one I don’t even use often and yet I am receiving multiple emails per week ever since December 2024. I keep unsubscribing from each list but then I just get another new one right behind it. I do not want to receive ANY emails from ANY of their companies or websites.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/16/2025

We promptly unsubscribed the email address from all of our distribution lists. Unfortunately, this consumer never reached out to us (prior to their complaint with the BBB) to allow us the opportunity to resolve this directly with them. All a consumer needs to do to be removed from our mailing list is to either send an email to [email protected] or just reply to any email they receive from us and ask to be removed from all of our mailing lists.

I have started receiving emails from sites affiliated with BHC LLC, such as Recipe Reader and Cooking Professionally. In looking up these businesses, I see that this shell corporation has a history of spam email communications disguised as recipe sites. I want my email address deleted from any and all distributions from any and all entities associated with this LLC. Future emails sent to my address will result in my pursuit of my legal rights under FCC regulations regarding privacy. .

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of communication and user privacy.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate the opportunity to resolve this matter amicably. We regret that this consumer found our email communications to be unwelcome. We make it a priority to clearly communicate our opt-out policies and provide easy-to-use unsubscribe options in every email we send. Unfortunately, we do not see where this consumer reached out to us prior to contacting the BBB. Upon receiving this BBB complaint, we immediately removed the email address from our distribution lists to ensure no further communications are sent.

I keep receiving spam emails from Mamas cooking, Heartland cooking, Lazy cooking, Tour trivia, F.F., D. Bee, Recipe reader, my daily joke, etc. without agreeing or subscribing to such emails. These spam emails are almost sent to me everyday. I have unsubscribed using their links on their emails several times to no avail followed by more spam when those links are selected.

We are happy to assist when people reach out to us directly. Unfortunately, this consumer's BBB complaint appears to be all we have right now, and the email address provided in the complaint does not appear to be real in order for us to assist them even through the BBB system. (We did check the email address provided, but part of the address itself suggests no email is being provided.) All a consumer needs to do to be removed from our mailing list is to either send an email to ********************************** or just reply to any email they receive from us and ask to be removed from all of our mailing lists. Once we have the correct email address receiving our newsletter, we take prompt action to complete the request.

This is my second complaint against this company. They have dozens of "businesses" all linked to this address sending me multiple unsolicited spam emails every day. They say I never reached out to them (but my attempts to unsubscribe have caused them to increase the email traffic) and that I am removed from their lists. However every time I open my email 3 of the top 4 new emails are from them. In fact in the 5 minutes it took to compose this email I went back to double check and 2 new emails from this company are now at the top making it a clean 5 of 5 for my inbox.I demand to be ACTUALLY removed from ALL email lists, not a copy/paste message that I never contacted you. I also demand to know who they bought my information from and whom they have sold it unto. Buying and selling my personal information without my consent is a massive invasion of privacy. But I fear nothing short of a class-action lawsuit or the *** or someone stepping in is actually going to change their business practices.

    Business Response

We are eager to address issues with consumers as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the only communications we have received from this person have been through the BBB, which we have responded to and taken action. We promptly unsubscribed this email address from all of our distribution lists when we were notified weeks ago. If this consumer is still receiving emails from us, it is likely there is another email address that also may need to be unsubscribed. This can happen if consumers have more than one email address; each one must be unsubscribed. If there is another email address that need to be unsubscribed, that information has not been provided to us. The consumer can also click the unsubscribe link or reply to any email they received to be unsubscribed.

I filled out an Aldi opinion questionnaire and at the end they told me I had won a Tupperware set and all I had to pay was $6.28 in shipping. Now my credit card has been charged $6.28 and another $76.33 from the same source (CREATIVEARTISTSS READING WY ******** ******) I never ordered anything and I want my credit card refunded.

Based on this consumer's complaint, it appears that they may have had an issue with an advertiser that advertised on our platform. We are not the advertiser, but we can help a consumer get in touch with an advertiser, as we did so in this case. Our records show that we responded to this person with the contact information to reach the advertiser to remedy their situation. Unfortunately, we are not affiliated with our advertisers and thus we are unable to help consumers with specific offers, services, promotions, or refunds, but we are always happy to facilitate connecting them to resolve any such issues.

Kept receiving multiple spam emails a day from different email addresses from cooking mama to Home cooking to anything else you can think of spammed will not be removed consistently unsubscribing

We have unsubscribed this email address from all of our distribution lists. Unfortunately, we were not provided an opportunity to resolve this directly with them (prior to this BBB complaint). The consumer's email request and the BBB complaint notification arrived on the same day about four hours apart. Like this person did, all a consumer needs to do to be removed from our mailing list is to either send an email to [email protected] or just reply to any email they receive from us and ask to be removed from all of our mailing lists (but also allow us some time to receive and process the request).

Hello. It seems there may be another issue going on that needs to be reviewed to be resolved.

We received your initial BBB complaint on 9/7. Our records and database show that no emails have been sent to that email address since 9/8. If you have received any emails from us since 9/8, it may be they went to another (different) email address or there is some other problem that we may need to review. If you have another email address that also needs to be unsubscribed, please share that with us at [email protected]. If you did receive emails at the same (unsubscribed) email address after 9/8, can you please forward the sample emails to us [email protected]?

We are committed to ensuring you never receive emails from us or our affiliates again and will work to ensure this is fully resolved.

This business has been sending me unsolicited spam email under various names - Mamas Cooking, Lazy Cooking, Heartland Cooking, Recipe Reader, recipesaver, commandcooking, cookingprofessionaly, recipesdirect,.lazycooking, floridasfunny, schoolofwordplay, .etc. Hundreds. Just on and on. I have not been able to successfully unsubscribe from these emails. I do not want to be on any of their mailing lists. They are an internet nuisance and should be shut down for harassment. I have about 50 filters set up and they just add new ones. Leave me alone

We have assured that this email address has been removed from our distribution list. Unfortunately, this person never reached out to us (prior to their complaint with the BBB) to allow us the opportunity to resolve this directly with them. About a month or two ago I started receiving tons of spam emails. I've been getting several every day advertising various businesses I've never heard of nor subscribed to, all redirecting from this business (to which I also never subscribed). I've repeatedly been trying to unsubscribe but the links provided don't work at all and/or I just keep getting more of them from different addresses. Nowhere in these emails does it actually allow you an option to remove yourself from the list of the parent company itself, only from the individual spam addresses. God only knows how they got my email in the first place, but having to spend ages removing them all from my inbox is just ridiculous.

    Business Response

    Date: 08/09/2024

We do see this email address was successfully unsubscribed from Mama's Cooking prior to (us) receiving this complaint; it appears it was completed by using the provided (unsubscribe) link. Additionally, we have unsubscribed this email address from all of our distribution lists.
