      *****************! When I signed up with RIDD my wife and I were told it was a 12 month contract. Now at the end of the 12 months ,I wanted to cancel, because the service hasnt been good at all. No change in the ant problem we've had . Now theyre saying it was an 18 month contract! They sent the agreement video...which the only voice on it is an AI generated voice...and my contract that I signed...the only page stating the amount of time has NOT been signed...it says 18 months...wheres the one I signed? That said 12 months!? Swapped it out ? Do NOT sign with these people ! All the hooplah they tell you about the monthly service and all the different types they provide is BS!You dont get it! I work from home and watch the guy! They dont perform all they say they will.! Then when you want to cancel, they change the contract so you cant without paying $250 cancellation fee. See the photo...NO Signature!! Its a new document they edited to show 18 months...the agent I spoke with , says its signed...where?!! That page is NOT signed!

      Complete rip off. If I could leave 0 stars I would, but only for the pricing. Literally just shy of $90 per month and a $240 cancelation fee if you stop before the year. Then when you call to cancel they won't refund the latest charge of $90 saying that "it's already been charged for the month" despite the fact that they ONLY come once a quarter! I had no problem with the technicians or the actual bug control, but their fees are WAY out of line for the frequency. I had just moved here in July and a nice fellow stopped by. The bugs and mosquitos were out of control. I feel now, that I was roped into it so I am writing this review so others don't experience what I did and what I am reading others did. I should have done my research and read the reviews before signing up. I will now support local small business and get the same thing at a fraction of the cost. It should be illegal to charge a customer for cancelling. What a fool I was. BBB, you should somehow step up and confront this company. They are by no means a "better business".

      Signed up from a door-to-door ******** in July. With 2 small children I wanted to entrust the bug control to someone else and they seemed capable. First visit went well and the tech talked me into also treating the yard for moles. 2 months later a tech texted to say they were coming by my house for the mole treatment. I explained I wasnt able to be home on such short notice. Went to cancel today as *** now paid $700+ and only had the bug treatment once that originally meant to sign up for. In order to cancel I was charged an additional $199. (1) service for bugs, (2) services for possible moles in the yard = $900. My fault for not doing a better job checking into the company and signing on my doorstep. ****** learned

      We also have ****, unfortuneatly my husband signed the contract, I was unaware, I called to cancel and they said sorry and was going to charge me $$$ to get out of it., so I stuck with them and they do not show up monthly, my lawn looks awful.

      Zero stars! I.paid for service but they charge every month and they're supposed to come out every other month or every month if you need them . ****, they charged my account every month but they only came out once but still wanted to charge me money. I spoke to the account representative three times and he still promised they would come out and he said I couldn't cancel my contract unless I paid a fee I asked him to cancel the contract and send me an invoice for the ****** cancelation fee which I would pay if only ***** per month. I regret not ooking at the reviews first before agreeing to the poor looking guy who knocked on my door to offer me the contract. I know he was only working because it was a job for an innocent young adult on the 4th of July. I want to cancel and pay the cancelation fee but the Ridd representative will not hear it and they tslk out of both sides of their mouth and now I don't believe anything they say. Sad to say now that because of Ridd I don't even trust the innocent Girls/Boy Scouts or any door to door salesperson. **** has to do better but thank God for the click to cancel law that's coming up. It's one thing to pay for a service as promised but it's not right that the vendor do not service the account as promised and then expect payment. No way **** and I pray every dissatisfied customer get RID of their contracts with you. I did notify my bank and canceled my credit card so they can't try to charge me for services they did not provide. I might have been borned at night but not last night. Bye Ridd and stop it! Right is right and wrong is wrong! Please do better Ridd!

      In April I signed up for Ridd Pest Control. this is a subscription service and a contract service both of which I don't do well with. I cancelled my service on 9/25/2024 and paid the 249 early cancellation fee. My pest control got worst with this company we couldn't use the backyard due to ants and mosquitos. My advice research before signing a contract with this company. This company charged my credit card without permission to do so.

      I wish I could give zero stars. A college age guy from this company walked into my backyard and looked around and then came to my front door and banged on the door for ten minutes straight. When I finally answered he would not take no for an answer. He kept asking me personal questions about myself, my daughter and my husband. I told him my husband wasnt home and he said can you call him right now? My husband in the military so no. But thats also none of his business. He tried forcing his way into my home and said my husband would be happy and love me more if I made this decision without him. There was so much more but there is literally a page in my community about this company and how to avoid them and make them leave and the cops have been called for harassment so many times. Im pretty sure its a human trafficking front at this point.

      I am disappointed with the service provided. Unfortunately, we are still dealing with pests in and out of our house despite the treatment. The initial assurance that the entire yard would be taken care of was not met. I have requested to terminate my contract without incurring any cancellation fees, as it's unfair for the customer to bear the cost of an ineffective solution. In comparison, I did not encounter this issue with *******, where the problem was resolved after one treatment.Next step if RIDD can't take ownership of their issue and cancel our service contract without having to pay a cancellation fee is the Federal Consumer Agency.No star review

      I will not renew this service. They signed my name and told me i cannot cancel. BEWARE of this company.They have charged me for 2 months after i canceled my account. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
