      I had service with Vivint for over six years. Initially, the service and equipment were good. However, after completing a 5-year contract with Vivint, they tricked me into another contract through a panel upgrade company. I've sold my house and my equipment. But they will not let me cancel the unwanted contract. I have no use or need for their services, but they still expect me to pay them for the next 3 to 4 years. Therefore, I hired an attorney to discharge them in bankruptcy court. I've followed the advice of their support staff and emailed them my attorneys' contact information. However, they still call me daily, trying to collect money. So, I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH VIVINT, AND I WANT VIVINT TO STOP THE HARASSING PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS.Regards,******************************

      They are happy to get you in a contract install equipment and get it up and running. When you experience a problem all you get is someone that is hard to understand and has you performing system checks over the phone. Supervisors are to busy to talk to or get a call back. There is no reason for them to send a technician to service the system

      Lets start of by saying if I could give Vivint **** stars I would. Im gonna keep this short and sweet. I have time because I am currently on hold with their customer service. AGAIN! Its been an hour. The last call after either being hung up on or being on hold was 2 hrs. Every time I call I am told that I am next in que for a supervisor and either hung up on or no on comes back to the phone. (RED FLAG)Is this the way to treat a Veteran? I signed up for Vivint security in May 2015. They were ahead of the curve with great security cameras and automation. I signed up for a 5 year contract. Unfortunately I had to leave ***********,** for a job opportunity in ***********, **. I then planned to relocate to *************, **. I called Vivint and a tech came out to uninstall my equipment. I was told at that time that if I didnt have the equipment installed at my new location I would still be responsible for the payment of the equipment even though I wouldnt have monitoring. The tech told me that he would have that added to my account notes and I understood. (RED FLAG)I arrived in ***** July 2018, and was told by property management that I wasnt able to have Vivint install the alarm at my new leased home because they had a lot of problems with the company. (RED FLAG)I remember the conversation I had with the tech and that I had to let the time of my contract run out even if I dont have monitoring. No problem, ************ the contract. (RED FLAG)Now this the meat and potatoes!This is Nov 2022, I have relocated to ******* over 4 years later, and I am still being charged $64.97 a month. I called and asked why am I still paying this? I was told by several SUPERVISORS in different departments that I should have notified the company when I was told I couldnt install the equipment. The tech in ********* never put anything in the notes. No option of a refund or anything. I was even told that I would be contacted by a SUPERVISOR on a Saturday. I found ou

      I have replied to the email to no avail. The problem is that my situation is very unique. I have spent three days on hold, or the phone just hangs up when I ask to speak to a supervisor.

      I wish i would have looked here before using vivint's services!Equipment works well. Camera quality is great but it is a scam. They sign you up for a plan that has you finance double what Equipment is worth. ***************** is garbage. We have been trying to resolve issues for 3 months now. Even after customer service representatives said they reviewed our recorded conversation and determined we were telling the truth about pricing and services we verbally agreed upon. They still have yet to hold up their end of the agreement but will not let us out of our contract. They are crooks. Also install team was a mess. They left ***** screws, trash and old equipment through my livingroom and hallways. Outside, they left trash, wires and tools in my potted plants. IN THE PLANTS!

      They have the most HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They have opened 2 Accounts under my name for over $4,000 each! Which is $8,000 on my Credit Report! Theres only supposed to be one charge of $4,000! Vivint is effecting my credit report and NO ONE has taking care of this over a MONTH! I even had a 3 way call with the *************** serve twice and they pretend to understand whats going on and they simply do NOTHING! *** also had them out quite a few times since the install! Im extremely dissatisfied with this company and I want out if this contract. Theres NO WAY they can be categorized as a #1 Alarm System!!!!

      if anyone does read this please do not use or purchase any products from Vivint! I am absolutely livid about the service, their equipment, and almost every aspect of the absurd company is ultimately a 1star rating at best. Each attempt to contact them has resulted in not accomplishing anything and they have botched the details of my Auto Pay and I had them set that up with an Agent yet my separate charge for my equipment that gets auto withdrawn stopped and now my account got sent to collections all the while for the actual services of monitoring gets pulled from my Bank acct. How does that even happen!? So now I have a collections derogatory with a company that still gets their money from my Bank acct that I had them set up for the $#!TTY services I have been paying them for. I see almost **** complaints filed and have not read all of them, but I assume they are all pretty close to the area I am writing about today. Does anyone know how they can be made accountable for clearly not providing a good product and not canceling services upon request for substandard services or products? They are absurd, undeserving of the public trust with their substandard services and equipment and worst thus far they haven't even connected me to an authoritative figure or supervisor each time I tried to file a complaint with their customer services, we can't be made responsible to pay for such deception and ineptitude for their conduct and service.

      High pressure salesmen, cover cost truth in fast talk and slick presentation. This company locks you into a 60 month contract with false statements then provide no recourse except to rely on legal remedies. Avoid them like the plague

      QUARTER OF A STAR: Vivint should not be allowed to continue to bilk unsuspecting customers by charging exorbitant rates while offering zero support, tech or otherwise. Every time I need to call Vivint, I have to wait forty five minutes on the phone for someone to answer. Then dealing with the problem takes another 45 minutes. And the system is breaking down all the time. I think this is a complete scam. I'm selling my house and just learned that to close out the account, I will have to pay them $3,000 for their equipment. I thought I was dealing with a reputable company, but no. I will own $3,000 worth of faulty equipment, which no other security company will use. This seems to be their mission statement: make it so hard for the client to get through, ever, so they will just pay off this too high sum, just to get out and not deal with them ever again. In eight months, the equipment was always failing so many, many times in the same way, that I just had to leave the home unprotected. I had to make a living -- I couldn't devote two hours several times per week for this.

      I have been trying to cancel my service for 2 months. They kept saying sending this send that . I sent the stuff and they still will not cancel my service.

      The most recent dates that I contacted Vivint.11012022 ******** ******** ******** ******** I would rate this company a zero but its unavailable, so they are rated a one.I've had the system for 12 months and unable to use it due to false alarms. Using Vivint has been a nightmare. The system doesn't work properly, and customer is no help at all. We paid over $3K for equipment and have a monthly monitoring fee. I was told by customer service that we are using some other companies' sensors, and this is the reason for the false alarms. How is this possible when I paid for new equipment with Vivint from *************** A person came out about 6 months ago and said the issue was resolved. Every time I set my alarm the police come to our home due to false alarms. This happens morning, noon and nights. **************** will now allow you to speak to management. i am constantly told "management is in a meeting or they will tell you the same thing I am telling you". What company does this do their customers??We have been frauded due to faulty equipment, equipment we are still paying for that Vivint says it's not theirs, I guess the tech installed someone else's equipment instead of theirs, since they are unresponsive over the phone, I drove to a Vivint office located on the ************ in *******, *****, that's on their website, just to find out there is no such building. Can someone please help us? I would like a full refund as Vivint doesn't respect their customers and I feel like I've been frauded. They aren't responsive to phone calls, blame everyone but their equipment.Disappointed, and frustrated in ******* *****. There is absolutely no accountability at Vivint.
