Element Solar was contracted to install a 6900 Watt photovoltaic (PV) generating system (i.e. solar panels, inverter, and ancillary equipment) at our home address. In addition to general communication issues and frustrations with the company relating to the project and problems that arose. The following are the main specific problems: • The Sol-Ark model 8K inverter has been installed contrary to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions and will ultimately lead to equipment damage if not corrected. • The Tigo brand Rapid Shutdown System (RSS) transmitter is not installed. It is required for equipment operation and is required in accordance with applicable electrical codes. • The Tigo rapid shutdown system (RSS) modules are installed contrary to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions. • As of this date, **** and ******* ***** have paid $632.40 in payments to Corning Credit Union (the servicing organization) for the PV generating system loan. It is our understanding that per the Sunlight Financial (loan originating financial institution) funding agreement, the funds ($29,175.48) should not have been disbursed without Element Solar having first installed all of the system equipment that was their responsibility to install. It is our opinion that Element Solar or one of its subcontractors incorrectly represented to Sunlight Financial that the system had been fully installed (meaning the portions that were Element Solar's responsibility vice the power company's). We have regularly attempted with patience and in good faith to notify Element Solar of the issues and requested that they be addressed. It is our opinion that Element Solar has failed in its obligations to install all of the required system equipment, to install the required equipment correctly, and to act in a reasonable time frame and in good faith to address the issues when presented.

I had a new roof & solar panels installed using the same loan for both, the roof was installed and finaled but the solar panels never received a permit and are still not working and their was an electrical permit pulled that was wrong and needed resolution so they could finale the electrical permit to get the solar panels permited. this work was done back in October 2021. the lender sent all the funds to the solar company so I had to jump thru hoops to get the roofing contractor paid. However I was informed earlier this month that the funds for the roof were sent to the roofing contractor and that some random person stole the check white washed it and cashed it the solar company said they filed a police report with the orlando police and that the roofer will now have to wait for payment. Now the roofing company filed a lien on my property for non payment, I still do not have the solar hooked up and I am paying for a loan on a finished job that is not finished, plus for electric that the solar panels was to eliminate. Please help!!! I am at a lose physically and mentally.
