    New claim due to a slab leak on 08/29/2024 Bamboo States 9/4/2024, Bamboo Insurance failed to collect the correct information We did not hear from Bamboo for almost a week so I called but was unable to get anyone and the phone system would say We are experiencing a high volume of calls, please try again later. After repeated calls to Bamboo, they finally contacted me on 09/18/2024 to schedule a inspection for 09/23/2024. On 09/23/24 I received a call from the field adjuster saying that he was at my residence, but no one was home. I responded to him stating that I am home in the front yard waiting. Bamboo sent the adjuster to the wrong address.The mitigation team came in and tore out all the damaged floor, walls, and entire downstairs bathroom and laundry room were gutted. October 3rd Bamboo stated they will be sending out a repair check to start the building back and get us back to normal.I received an email on October 11th that the check was sent, and I should receive it in 5 to 7 days.Octo 25th I called the insurance company, and they said it was sent, and I should receive it any day now. I was contacted by the new adjuster to let me know that the Check was sent to the wrong address and that they will need to stop payment and reissue the check. 11/20/2024 when I was informed that a new insurance adjuster was assigned to my claim. That makes 3 adjusters 11/23/24 I received an email stating that the check was mailed. The Check finally arrived on December 2nd and to my disappointment it was made out incorrectly and un-cashable. I feel currently they are fraud and have been dragging their feet. It has been a full three (3) months since I opened the claim and have not received a proper check to start the repair process that can take another two months to complete. I have missed multiple days of work just trying to work with Bamboo or the mitigation team and now on December 3, 2024 three months later and no work has started to repair any damage.

    On 11/10/24 we experienced an accidental overflow of water into our home which is fully covered by our policy. Bamboo was quick to hear our case and quick to explain the max coverage awarded is 5k, despite having 260k coverage for this type of loss. In communication with the company they cannot prove why this claim falls out of scope of our full coverage. Im shocked at how our case is being handled. Bamboo, please honor our policy and coverage immediately. We have a toddler and our health and safety should your number one priority.

    Ive been dealing with this insurance since my injury back in Feb. Ive already signed a settlement release that I had to settle for because their insurance rep ***** cant give me details in writing how they came up with the number they offered me. Ill get back from them is a bunch of excuses to not get my settlement check they keep giving me the run around telling me they have to wait for **** approval. Not to mention I went through 4 different adjusters. Im considering now filing a formal complaint and potentially hiring a lawyer now because this has gotten way out of control !!!!

    I would not recommend Bamboo to anyone. They took money out of my account and will not refund me. Every time I call, they inform me it takes 4 weeks, and then I need to wait to have the check reissued. So they keep sending me in in circles. DO NOT USE THEM, AND PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR AUTO PAY, WHICH I DID NOT!!!!

    This is the beginning of the process which I am satisfied. So far I am satisfied with the process. The rep was helpful with what to expect. She didn't explain policy details & deductible. I assume she thought I would know but I was unable to locate my policy during the turmoil going on.

    My initial experience was excellent. I will say that the team is SO busy, that it is sometimes difficult to get them to respond, answer questions or even slow down enough to use their expertise to HELP sort through a complicated discussion/process.

    I'm dealing with my case progress affected by discrimination. I can't believe this is happening so I'm trying to reach supervisor before I go to insurance department. It's going to be 2 months for my claims filing and today on my status enquiry call I had to ask adjuster multiple times to calm down. I'm glad someone else reported that their claims adjuster takes/makes things personally, I'm definately seeing it myself. Their claims adjusters definately need behavior training and overview on how things work in **********. I was just looking for fair claims progress when policies are laid out clearly and insurance department is available to moderates as needed. She's just trying to fabricate reason to decline my claim and I'm awstuck to see her discremination efforts. I would appreciate a verification of adjuster's fraud, she's definately declined my request to connect me to her supervisor and decided to yell/talk at me.

    I made an attempt and filed a loss 6 weeks ago, Reviewers take it personally and almost act like you're asking them for a favor. I was even cussed out by one because I was bother him it seemed like (*****************), They're too busy to take calls or even pick up their phone (*********************), terrible on communication! They bad mouth each other (***************** had lot's to say about *********************) and within the company and don't get you any results.... (*********************** alleged Manager) took over after a few weeks of me pressuring for a result, stopped communicating, the buck was passed to someone else and is now in a mute status, unable to get calls returned and or replies, (*************************************). They bully you, try and confuse you, and all to try and lead you into a different response, bottom line the claim is a valid and was done on a covered item! and she even had the nerve to ask if file my tax returns!! imagine that! and they get into your non-related personal business while at it, I thought she'd want my blood type as well and along with my medical records while at it. By the Rude and pressuring way ********* handled the interview, and even asking for Witnesses, which were provided by the way. They need to stick to the Claim and resolve it! Anyway, STAY AWAY, FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Although I did receive a call from another Manager this week, to go over the whole thing again, they all seem to promise the same, they tell you they're Investigating, and will escalate the situation, meanwhile I've already replaced my roof and still am waiting for more alleged investigators to Call me???
