      We were scammed by Vivint! A gentleman came to our door and had us get the security system. He said that the equipment was covered by them but in reality they put us in a $3000 LOAN. We didn't know this until we got a credit card in the mail with a $3000 balance on it! I called to cancel and they said I would owe $4000 to them and the bank. This was fraud if you ask me. I demand a response from Vivint that they let me cancel. They can come get their equipment if they want but I'm not paying on a loan I was tricked into taking out!

      Vivint = Policy Over People After 8+ years with Vivint, I tried to cancel my account in February when I moved. The *** refused to cancel and insisted on a 2-month pause while I found the new homeownerswhom I clearly said I did not know. I wasnt living there anymore, and I wanted to be ******** in May, theyre charging me $45 because I didnt provide information I never had. I was told by a new *** that even if I spoke to a manager, nothing would change. So Im being forced to pay for a service I havent used in months, all because they wouldnt honor my original request to cancel.I was calm, clear, and respectful through multiple conversations. Vivint was rigid, dismissive, and tone-deaf. Their *** ignored my instructions, and now Im being penalized for it. This is not how you treat loyal ******************************** lost me for good. Ill never recommend them. Policy shouldnt matter more than people.

      Horrible experience the sales person lied about everything and I believe stole the door cameral the next day. I signed up and the sales person says I have 30 days to cancel and when I call to cancel they tell me I cant cancel. The cameras that they gave me always freezes or disconnect. I have reached out to customer service multiple times and they have repeatedly ignore my cancellation request and continue to charge me on a monthly basis for a service i no longer use because the equipment does not work

      Similar experience from other reviews. Young man from **** was sales person. At first we refused to see him, but husband wanted to ask about system. We agreed and installer came later in evening, and was here until late. System not installed correctly, very cumbersome system. We called 5/12 to cancel. Received cancellation approval. Yet, *************** issued a credit card. We talked to ******* that account is canceled. I sent cancellation letter from VIVINT by regular mail and email. Trying to prevent getting charged when we have canceled. DO NOT GO WITH VIVINT. System supposed to get picked up soon, but still waiting.

      The worse company. The smart home features stayed offline often. I didn't have any air for four days because the thermostat was stuck on heat. So, cool was blowing out heat. Representative assured me that it had nothing to do with the thermostat. ** Repair man came out on today, the 4th day with no air and found that the issue was definitely the thermostat. After long waits on hold with the representative as she was trying to see which day a technician could come out I decided to replace the thermostat with my old one and my air came on immediately. I called Vivant back to say that I would like to cancel the service and they tried their hardest to bribe me into keeping the service. They even tried to refund me monies that I paid out of pocket for the ** repair company. I declined because I just simply no longer want the service. There is no contract and I was told that I could cancel anytime but now they are playing games and not cancelling the service. There was long waits back and forth only for them to say they would call me back in an hour. This was a free service through my electric company. It's really bad when you don't want a free service. I even explained that I no longer wanted the service due to my anxiety. My anxiety cannot take the heat. So I can't afford for this to happen again. Vivant is the worst and still has not called me back to cancel my service as they said they would.

      I have been a Vivint customer since 2018. In the beginning everything was working fine, however things really took a turn for the worst. We started experiencing problems with the panel and sensors. We tried trouble shooting over the phone. We've had a technician come out numerous times to address the same problem but it was never completely resolved. The fact that they want you to basically do their job by trouble shooting and if not you have to pay a $99 service fee for the same issue is ridiculous. I find this very unfair! Needless to say I'm very unhappy with this company and the service they provide. I would never recommend them and will probably be changing to another security company ??

      Very invasive walking the neighborhood. Staring in people's homes and trying car doors. And taking pictures. Not of what they should. Pounding on doors. Not tactful at all... Or are they? Always looks like they are up to something.

      It's memorial day and I specifically have no soliciting signs on my property as well as I answered on my ring and asked the young lady to leave my property.She pretended she couldn't here me and continued with her spill even after answering the door and asking her to leave no soliciting she said she will return at a better time. These people are ridiculous It's a holiday as well as the don't respect the law I called customer service and they are just as rude.

      We have been struggling with this company and its equipment . The doorbell camera has had issues since installation. At this point after 2 years we are done. It took over an hour to finally cancel our subscription. Vivint equipment and customer service has a lot to be desired. There has to be better out there. We would not recommend this company ever.
