      What a terrible experience! One call, two bookings. The agent on the phone confirmed a king size bed per room with pull out coach for the kids. All set! We called the ******************************* in *********** to ensure they have the reservations and the extra room for the kids and they dont even have room for coat or offer a sofa bed. We asked Reservation Counter to cancel the room based on false information and they did but we never got a refund so now no room and no money back either. What a scam!

      I made a mistake booking a stay today at the *************** *****************. I put in the wrong date by accidentally adding a day. I asked if I could manage my reservation by one day. The agent I talked to responded by saying no that isn't something we can do. You'll have to cancel the reservation and make a new one. I said no problem and went online to do that but received a message that the system was unable to process that request. So I called back and got another agent who said that the previous agent was trying to process that cancellation and I needed to wait 30 minutes for a call back to confirm it was cancelled. Over 6 hours later, I called again. This time I was told they would process the request but had to wait 4 to 48 hours for the manager of the hotel to confirm the reservation was cancelled. Then the agent said it would take 3 to 10 business days to process a refund. Then I called Hilton. That's when I found out I'd accidentally used this 3rd party "Reservation Counter" place. I stupidly clicked the first link on ****** for the hotel, and now it looks like I've been scammed. I'm working with my bank to dispute the change. I hate that scamming sites like this are allowed to exist.

      I've emailed again and received no responses. I just want to cancel my reservation. Any hotel can do that. This 3rd party booking sent an email saying that it isn't possible, so I'm out $650. DO NOT USE Reservation Counter. Be careful when **************** I feel so stupid.

      SCAM - I booked a reservation at what looked like the hotel site. When I did not get a confirmation email, I immediately got worried. I cancelled the reservation but was charged a fee. This business should be investigated for their misleading business practices.

      This is basically a scam. Their non-refundable service fee is not disclosed when making a booking. Do not use under any circumstances. ***

      They charge "taxes and fees" but are unable to provide any kind of breakdown on what those taxes and fees actually are. I do not see how this is allowed.

      I unknowingly used Reservation Counter when I made a reservation at a ************ given upon searching the hotel I landed on a page that looked very much like it was the hotel's site and seeing the words reservation center did not make me think otherwise. I think it is a very purposeful tactic used by third party services. When I called to try and change dates for a stay due to inclement weather, I was told the hotel would not agree to cancel the reservation. When I called the hotel they told me the Reservation Center had to cancel not them. After four different phone calls with four different people there was no different answer and no resolution. As I see after reading the other reviews on this site, this is a common complaint. I will be SURE to never use the service purposely or mistakenigly again. I don't undertsand how businesses prefer to lose potentional business and good reviews to make a few dollars.

      I called and asked if I was talking to the hotel directly not a 3rd party. The young lady said yes I was calling the hotel. I explained it was my birthday and we have stayed multiple times for my birthday and wanted a particular room. I asked if she was at the property at that time. She said no I am down the street at another of our properties. She assured me she knew which of the 3 upper room facing the ocean ! Yes she could not say which of the 3 I would get but would get one of them. She matched the price I had seen on a 3rd party site. She lied ! The hotel said if the reservation was made from a 3rd party site not directly with them. To get the room I was promised we had to pay $150 more for the 3 nights. This is very bad business to lie when asked if they are the hotel direct ! When I called the 833 info # from the hotel I was caller 20 waiting ! I left my call back still waiting for a call back. I hate a lier !

      SCAM SCAM SCAM - I thought I was booking direct to the hotel. But realized upon receipt of the booking confirmation I did not. They claim reservations are FREE CANCELLATION, but then charge a non refundable fee to book (mine was $17.99) - also, that is not specifically clarified until you receive a booking confirmation and they have your CC #. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

      To be clear - my reservation did not say I was being a charged any service fee, until AFTER the reservation was placed. The FULL REFUND that was stated when I booked was a scam because it was not true. As soon as I realized the reservation was booked at the fee was added I cancelled the reservation - maybe 2 minutes after the accidental booking. So the statement that they offer 24 hour support is also a lie. They offered no support for my issue and have been enormously unhelpful with this issue.

      Scammed me, thought I was booking at a hotel that I thought I called direct. They charged an inflated price at a different hotel. When I realized the discrepancy I questioned the person about it and was completely ignored and just was told the reservation was sent to my email.

      Myself and two other friends stayed at the ********************* by Wyndham, ************************************************************* this past weekend November 8th to November 9th. Every hotel I stay in spray my room with Lysol. Upon spraying my room down, I huge cockroach popped out by the A/C unit and a small one behind it. I took a picture of this. My friends and I were horrified. We immediately started gathering our items and get out of the room. We called the front desk, the clerk gave a simple laughed and told us to come get another room key. I let her look at the picture and she did not have a care in the world. Let me back up, upon entering the hotel, there was a big yellow bucket and mop blocking part of the door to enter, while the clerk stood outside smoking, Not once did she greet us, but she noticed my t-shirt I was wearing and asked questions about it. Back to the room. Once we cleaned the room and I sprayed it down, I left to go to *********** to get food while my friends got dressed. A customer was standing at the front desk waiting to get service. She asked me was anyone working at the desk because she was standing there for about 10 minutes. I describe the clerk to the customer. We both rung the bell for help and yelled out for someone. No one answered. I left to get food. By the time I returned from getting food, the clerk was just starting to help the new customer and the yellow bucket was still by the front door. We left later that evening to go to our reception, the yellow bucket was still at the door, the clerk was just sitting at the desk doing nothing. A customer was trying to get her things through the door on a cart and had trouble trying to get pass the door. I helped the lady. The next morning upon leaving the hotel, the yellow bucket was still at the front door. We changed hotels. Ridiculous service at this hotel. I will never stay at this hotel again and will never recommend to anyone. I gave a one star too many!
