Went to store to pick up some reloading projectiles, it was right before closing so already rushing as I was told " we are closing soon" as I walked in. when i returned home i realized that I got 45 cal projectiles but wrong diameter. I got .452 instead of .451. The next day I returned to the store and asked if I could exchange them. Before I could get another word out to explain what happened, the guy behind the counter said " we don't return this or exchange you own it that's our policy". Well if that were the case maybe they should post it in the store by the equipment that all sales are final but not in one single location including the receipt does it state this. So needless to say I'm out money and product to throw away as this store could care less about customer service or retaining a customer.Initial Complaint

In May 2024 me and my Husband went into the sportsman warehouse located in Parker,Co where my husband was asked for I'd and was asked to provide some sort of mail with his name on it he presented all that was asked he picked the firearm he was interested in and was given a tablet where he was asked to undergo a background check well ultimately he was denied the firearm permit as they background check was not passed well on Oct 31st 2024 the sportsman warehouse went to Douglas county court house and filed a complaint against my husband stating he had tryed to commit foregery and provided the false documents which is untrue and not correct he answered the questions honest and truthful being he hasn't been convicted of any crimes in over 16 years he served his debt to society I feel this is wrong and if there's a misunderstanding then this needs to be corrected and handled my husband is 55 years old ill battling to get SSI and SSDI he has no time to commit fraud or try in any fashionInitial Complaint

First off, this complaint is against Sportsman warehouse in Cheyenne, WY. However no matter how hard I look I cannot find this particular store. But hopefully, since it's a corporate store and they are all ran by the same corporation , it won't matter. Recently I purchased a Pietta . 44 black powder gun kit from the S W in Cheyenne, Wy. Upon taking it home I began to dismantle it in order to clean the packing grease and oil from it. Using the tools supplied in the kit, one of which was a nipple wrench to remove the nipples. As I began to remove the nipples the nipple wrench broke at each tip thereby making unusable. So after spending $400 on this kit, I'm thinking there would be no reason they wouldn't replace a bad part that was in that kit. A part with a cost of around $10. But when I tried to get them to replace the part the asst. manager began to speak in corporate tongue, basically passing the buck. So I told the guy, I ask the guy was he really not going to replace a simple low cost part and keep a customer. He would not budge so I took it to the next step and explained that I would take my case to BBB, social media and that I would write an email to his corporate office. This gentleman, this Asst manager, literally laughed at me and ask "would you like their number that way I can save you an email. " Even if I am 100% in the wrong, and I don't believe I am, there is no reason that an asst. manager has the right to treat someone that way. All I ask for, and all I want is a simple exchange of a very low cost part that came defective in one of their kits.Initial Complaint

I bought a cross bow from the store payed with cash and bought the replacement protection the limbs broke on the bow and took it back my fault I didn’t have the receipt and the store manager was rude to me as I was rude to him call the customer service and spoke with them they let the case drop so I call back today and they act like I never call before but I have the email they sent me and when brought that up to them they told me the person was off I would like a call from the storeInitial Complaint

I’m standing in their store and they require me to make my purchase online - employee tells me they cannot ring me up. I place the order online - I immediately receive an email stating my order has been cancelled due to a verification error. I attempt to place the order a second time and receive the same order cancellation email. I call my bank and they tell me there is no issue w my card - and that I have 3 SW transactions pending on my account. I contact SW customer service - they tell me there is nothing they can do - also - no one can tell me where the third charge to my account came from totaling over 2000 dollars in total for 3 transactions - 2 of which I attempted to place and was told they were cancelled - the third they cannot explain. Then they tell me they will send my info to their verification Department - whatever that is - and that I’ll have to contact my bank to dispute the charges? I placed an order for a Yeti mug on October 19, 2024. Their website said it was in stock at my local store and I could pick it up the next day. I already placed an Amazon order for the same item at the exact same price, but since it was going to take over a week to arrive, I canceled my Amazon order and placed an order with Sportsman's Warehouse. The next day, I received an email saying it's not in stock, but they will "ship it to my local store free of charge", like that's some great deal or something. I replied and asked them to ship it to my home due to the inconvenience, and they refused stating I would need to cancel the order and start all over again. Now I am in worse shape than I was with Amazon. I'm paying the same price and still waiting a week for my item to arrive, but at least Amazon was gonna ship it to my home and not to a store. I tried to upload my entire email conversation, but couldn't figure out how to save it as a file and attach it.Initial Complaint

I ordered a rifle on 9/30/2024. The order updated to delayed and then on 9/7/2024 was marked cancelled due to sportsmans not being able to find the inventory. I called customer service multiple times which has been the worst experience ever. I asked that they consider price matching another identical rifle but the useless people with customer service couldnt even understand me. I got an email telling me they gave me a $20 coupon for my inconvenience - not even remotely enough of a gesture for this case. It also stated my card was never charged and I would need to contact customer service to get the $70 gift card back. My card is in fact fully charged and I just called the worst customer service yet again and was told it is a mistake with the billing and will take 7-10 business days to get a refund and also the gift card balance back. This is outrageous for a business to be able to practice like this and get away with it. I just want the refund and gift card refund processed as soon as possible. Also report the business for improperly charging my card when it should have never even charging it in the first place.Initial Complaint

I am reporting that Sportsmans Warehouse is not posting my product review. I attempted to post this review one year ago. I suspect that the review was not published because it is a one star review. The review is honest, but not profane, unprofessional or otherwise inappropriate. I spent almost 700 dollars on the product (Alpen Teton -Abbe 10x42 binoculars) I have attempted to submit my review several times since my initial attempt and each time the website displays a message stating "thanks, we already have your review". If this is true and the business has my review then they should post the review. I purchased the product with my own money. I have used it for over one year at this point. The review is honest and other customers in the market are being done a disservice by Sportsmans Warehouse not posting this product review. It is akin to lying through omission. If there is a platform being provided to state opinions about this product my opinion should not be silenced just because it's not a favorable opinion. I placed an online order on Saturday the 24th for some products they actually didn't have on site... when I asked for a refund they told me it would take 2-3 days. It's been 4 now and they haven't started the refund process, my bank told me I need to take this up with them, and now they refuse to help with my refund.
